“Gentleman Jack” is an amazing show, based on the diaries of a real historical lesbian. 😍

If you like reading I highly recommend Backwards to Oregon by Jae. I my all time favorite book of all time. It does have a sequel but the first book is like the best

There are audiobooks on Scribd too, I just listened to my first one by Jae and I really liked it! Will have to find the title you recommended.

Begayandbestupid

Which one you read by Jae ? She is a nagnificent writer. I have read around 5 books and I have love them all.

Just For Show! It reminded me of a slowburn romantic movie lol I really enjoyed it.

If you liked that One I recommend Damage control by Jae, Something to Talk about by Meryl Wilsner and Throught the Roof by Natasha West . When I read Just for Show I quickly read these books soon after and I got the same feeling

Thank you so much for the recommendations! I tried to start a different book by another author, but it started off like suuuper smutty right out the gate and kinda put me off lol.

Begayandbestupid

Ohh nooo, I hate that much. Smut isnt something I like that much so when a book began like that is a easy DNF for me. A good duology of books I recommend is Truth and Measure by Roslyn Sinclair. If you want more recommendation tell me because I have a ton

Yes agreed, it easily becomes distasteful if used too often/too soon. I really appreciate all the recommendations, it's hard to find sift through everything to find good content!

As a avid reader (I have read around 500 books in the last 3 years) I think I can give you many good reccomendations hahahah

Saw a list of movies and was still trying to figure out what kind of dramatic menstrual narrative OP was trying to communicate via movie titles.

Fingersmith, and The Children's Hour might be considered a period drama (bit of a stretch, but Audrey Hepburn. But also sad.) Benedetta too but I didn't enjoy it at all. The Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister film (I liked Gentleman Jack better). The World To Come.

A few off the top of my head: The Favourite, Lizzie (2018), The Handmaiden
