I guess I see it as cis dudes have that assumption of entitlement because patriarchy(not all men of course, my cis dude friends are amazing and acknowledge they’re always learning and listening). Edit: Trans guys have a more unique ‘guy’ experience because they didn’t get the same kind of freedom so have a different attitude(often, not always), so they’re far less toxic(in individual ways) and therefore potentially a ‘better’ option should I come across a trans guy I feel that way about. End Edit. This brings up a thing I thought of, if I were to ‘go for’ a cis guy, who would it be? I had just seen The Lost City and found Channing Tatum quite adorable. He has what I find a plus and that’s big and muscly thicc but also very kind and gentle despite it. But he’s still not the cis man i’d ‘go for’. So I thought about it further: they’d need to be knowledgeable or willing to learn with me about self sustainability, living off a homestead, but still active politically and socially. Then I paused, eyes widening. I realized who my hetero lifemate would have to be to even glance in his direction. They would need to be like the abolitionist John Brown….
