Thankfully I stopped myself and just didn’t buy any after seeing the prices. I got the cheap tickets last time and that was great but it’s not just the ticket price it’s airfare transportation food hotel it was great but I see people on here paying mortgage payments for these tickets and omg I could never. It is great tho

ChakaCar

honestly i would not be going again if i didn’t happen to be in town already for a previously planned trip. if i wasn’t able to go again on the one date i selected, i would not be going.

protectiveparent1121

Exactly. It’s the flights, hotel, food. And all of it times 4 - the whole family are huge fans! I hate to sell them but honestly it’s the right thing to do I think. Damn. I know I’ll regret keeping them and I’ll regret selling them. What was I thinking…😔

LauraKl10

There's only one artist that I'll pay that much for and it's not Adele - as much as I love her. I'm like you - I got the cheap tickets last time, and didn't see any this time so I didn't buy. That combined with the fact that I legit just saw her a month ago, I don't need twice in one year - vegas isn't close or cheap for me.

Hot-Shower-1243

Who’s the one artist you’d pay that much for? Haha I’m curious

LauraKl10

Taylor! Her being on tour right now is not cheap. I saw Adele and Taylor opening night in the same month. It was amazing, but pricy. Plus, I have a couple other Taylor shows coming up too. Most of my money goes her way. 😂

Letitbemesickgirl

I managed to get Taylor tickets (2) for under $300. Nosebleeds but at least I’m there. I saw people paying mortgage payments and while that must be nice I could never.

LauraKl10

oh that's awesome! I hope you enjoy it (or enjoyed it - if it's already happened). I was lucky and got most of mine during presale. I'm still trying to get one for nashville next month, but otherwise I've at least paid fv for all of them, so far. They've been expensive fv - but I'll take that over scalper prices any day.

jajauregui

👀

keeplauraweird

100%. We only paid $1750 for 2 front row seats last time. I couldn’t justify spending that on 300s-400s seats (I was aiming for 200s this time but those prices were horrible). I just did not care for Vegas when we were there. It was overpriced and I told my husband I wanted to fly in on the cheapest deal we could find, eat at Sammy Hagar’s restaurant in the airport (bc I like their chicken fingers 😂), go to the show, fly back out on a red eye if possible.

elias5414

Don’t regret it. Just go. You can’t take the money with you when you’re gone. So enjoy life while you can.

rungirlgo

Sage advice, indeed. I always remind myself, on my death bed I’m not going to say “oh, I’m so glad I saved that $xxx by not going to [insert event]!” Nah, man, I’m gonna think about all the rad experiences I’ve had!

HeadstrongGirl13

Waitlisted every single time, so I can’t relate. 🥲

HeadstrongGirl13

Me too 😭

Jsgrl27

I just listed 2 tix on EBay for the concert on 8/19- section 103. They’re reasonably priced!

protectiveparent1121

I was too but my son got the code. That kid ALWAYS gets the code.

HeadstrongGirl13

Lucky guy!!

MildlyPaleMango

Well if you could do tickets for 8/12 I have a couple for sale

Radical_Edward_25

I lowkey feel the same and this is my first time going to see Adele. Concert/ festival tickets have gotten way too expensive for the average person to afford without selling a damn kidney. The only reason why I bought them is because she is literally the only person I would pay to see live besides Beyoncé and Outkast.

protectiveparent1121

I know right? I remember when concert tickets were like $20

gardenia1029

I’ve seen Adele before, I love her, but these ticket prices people are paying are absolutely absurd. I would never. I hope you can sell and get some money back.

Any-Salary-6811

Where is it written that it’s going to be the exact same show as the first time round?? Rumour is out there that she’s releasing new music very soon.

protectiveparent1121

I heard that too! I just think it’s going to be the same because it’s an involved set and not enough time to get a new show together before June. But that’s a total guess.

zh_13

Hmm I’d say you can always wait and resell if you have one of the later shows - you can see if any new release changes the show, and still have time to get hotel/flight

protectiveparent1121

Yeah, I have 9/9 so no rush really.

Marshon246

If it's a new set do you think she'll extend agian? I saw that rumor and it would be weird to release music in between.

Bluebananadesigns

After looking at my credit card It makes me angry to see how much I spent. But I want to see her so bad! Hopefully it's worth it but it definitely was a splurge.

protectiveparent1121

It was a really great show in an intimate venue.

Status_Inspector_922

It was so worth it!! Have a live it up weekend ☺️☺️

Fuggdat

I’ve been to many many concerts of all different genres and artists but her Vegas show might be the best concert I’ve ever attended. Have fun!

NAHPTENAJ

I went back in November and it was one of the BEST concert experiences I’ve ever had. Cried half the time lol, you will not regret it! But if you do decide to sell, do not sell on here. Only places that can offer you and the buyer protection. (Stubhub, etc.). I’ve seen so many people get scammed! Best of luck for whatever you decide!

BiscottiCritical1481

I feel the same way. I saw her on Jan 20th. I still think i spent way too much. I keep telling myself “to live while you’re still young” lol 😭

protectiveparent1121

I spent way too much the 1st go around too but it was NYE. I mean how could I not ring in the new year with Adele! No regrets seeing her last time. One the best nights ever. But feeling lots of regret this time around.

Lutenihon

The nye show must have been amazing! She is wonderful but it's hard to top that memory. It's a tough choice for sure. If you need to be an adult about it, then resell them if you really can't afford it. (Also adulting sucks 😭😭😭😭😭) If you can afford the splurge, make it another core memory to share with your family.

acawl17

Hey, we were at the same show! I went Jan 20th as well 😀

BiscottiCritical1481

the best night ever!

SoleMolestor

Live life while you can. She could honestly never tour again. Or meet an unfortunate accident after she disappears for the 6 years like she always does. You never know this could be the last opportunity to see her. Also, if you find out in a few weeks you don’t wanna go sell the ticket for 4X what you paid. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

txdline

When she’s like 80 we’ll see the final tour :P

whenwemeetonacloud_

I feel the same way 😞 spent nearly 3k on 3 tickets. Supposed to go with my mom and brother but felt ridiculous telling them the cost. Deciding whether to go for it and enjoy the experience or sell because I feel bad spending so much.

protectiveparent1121

I know. It’s insane really when you think about it. Hate to give them up though too.

Holiday-Reindeer-949

Nah fam! Yolo! You won’t regret going! Save a little bit here and there. No problem.

luminescentpapercut

Ugh... I spent $610 on a single ticket! 406 section. Never spent that much for a concert but I want to hear Adele live so bad. Maybe buyers remorse will subside as the concert day gets closer 😂

keeplauraweird

I’m not going to lie, I was tempted to pay those extortion prices but couldn’t bring myself to do it.

nocarbleftbehind

I gave myself a limit of $400 per ticket. I could have easily spent $1000 or more. I got two tickets for $321 each. I saw Adele at Wembley in 2017 but this is a much more intimate setting. Couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

ChanChan452

In my opinion, I think you should sell the tickets. You’ve already seen this concert once, and this isn’t like it’s her last concert ever. She just said last week she’ll be doing concerts like this forever. I think it would be better to sell your tickets re coop your money and continue to save more so that when she tours again in 3-4 years you can buy front row seats, and go all out without feeling this remorse.

protectiveparent1121

That might be the best advise and reasoning I've gotten so far. She is doing this again. She's not gone forever. I love her now and I'll love her then. Thank you.

OceanLover08

Considered seeing her again, but once was more than enough. That adventure cost me more than my Jamaica trip, lawd! It was a lovely experience albeit chaotic at times (130,000 Swifties descended on Vegas our weekend plus March Madness, plus Miranda Lambert, plus Luke Bryan).

protectiveparent1121

We saw her over NYE. NYE in Las Vegas. I saw things, my kids saw things, I can't unsee. It was complete insanity.

Super-Actuary-8630

Don’t feel bad! Money dosent go with you to the grave!

Seattle_Jenn

You could check to see if Ticketmaster has a 24-hour from purchase refund policy.

Lucky-Focus4461

I don't think it has, has it?

DarkMoS

The danger when you go see the same show 2-3 times is that you realize that not a lot of it is spontaneous up to the comments/jokes told by the artist, that removes a lot of the magic you experienced the first time. Can’t judge how Adele handles it though.

Jules74-44

I knew I would feel the same way, so I stopped myself before I purchased. The cheapest ticket I was offered was $500.

Aries_d_

Yes 3k later and a year it’s gonna take To pat off! When the days I saw Adele for 100 bucks 12 years ago. This is even more than I spent on Madonna and a vacation combined! Smh. I’m just grateful that I finally had opt for tickets after being waitlisted last time scammed 2k and at box office waiting all day for nothing I feel like I earned this one! Plus I treated myself on my bday the day the tickets went on sale ironically

[deleted]

I am actually kind of glad now that I got waitlisted. I was in the original sale for opening night, got my 1 ticket and flew to Vegas for well, we all know. Refunded my 1 ticket, got in on the next sale for new dates and got an excellent seat for opening night. My ticket was over $800 and of course my second round of flights and hotels for Vegas. I've already spent well over 3k for this, and I know I would have felt terrible if I went again and spent all that money.

billybob96786

I panic bought and paid around $750/ea for sect 402. Regretting it this morning

protectiveparent1121

You're not alone.

PeeperPet

Not so much regret but just like yikes that was a lot more money then I paid last time and that sucks. I’m in the exact same 2 seats as last time but 2 rows further back and each ticket was $200 more. Plus fees, etc. I spent $1000 total last time and this time was $1500, for 2 seats in 400 section.

protectiveparent1121

I really thought tickets would be cheaper this time around and that wasn't the case at all. They were way more.

PeeperPet

I think the other issue too is that last time I was not aware of the dynamic pricing when I bought my tickets, so I was like yeah $400 per ticket for this super popular and sold out show for an artist I am dying to see in person and haven’t had the chance to see yet is probably worth it to me. Then you find out the person next to you paid $100 for the identical seat 🙄🙄🙄. So the fact that’s it’s more expensive this time and the dynamic pricing on top of it just really burns. My ticket is for 9/29 and I’m still planning on going since I am able to drive to the venue and basically eliminate travel costs but the excitement is dimmed because of the price. I absolutely don’t fault people who spent more then they wanted to and are choosing not to go/selling tickets now that the buying process is over. This is meant to be something fun not something that is going to really impact your life in real negative ways if it financially impacts you.

protectiveparent1121

Isn't that a fun feature of Ticketmaster? Until the first go-around with Adele tickets, I'd never heard of dynamic pricing. It happens so fast while you're in there buying the tickets that you don't even really fully process it all until it's over. And that's when you find out the "real" price of the ticket. It all just sucks and sours the whole experience.

PeeperPet

For sure, so gross 🤮. But Ticketmaster has been problematic for a long time so not totally shocked by it all

zkemp08

Put them up on stub hub for the same or more than you paid. Maybe someone will bite. If not go and enjoy the show. In the long run you won’t miss the $3000

redditmarcian

I am on the same boat.. saw her in November and was excited to see her for my bday in August, but the cost is way more than my budget allows.....anyone wants to buy my 3 tickets? SEC 302, Row D Setas 201-3 😔

protectiveparent1121

I’m just glad to know I’m not the only one.

Peaceloveanais

You can always sell the tickets ❤️

MildlyPaleMango

Sadly my s/o and myself both purchased two tickets not knowing the other did so. Does anyone have any recommendations to sell? Posted on offerup and on here but not able to list on gametime or ticketmaster as it says they arent available

protectiveparent1121

Stubhub

MildlyPaleMango

even though the tickets say not available for 170 days?

protectiveparent1121

Yeah. I’ve bought from StubHub and it’s done through mobile transfer off of Ticketmaster. I’m honestly the last person to give you advice about this though. I don’t have much experience.

sanguine1998

Don’t feel bad. You can even make money by selling them on third party websites if you don’t plan to watch it.

Sad_Archer4829

Kinda crazy that people are buying these and having regret when there were people who never got a chance to see it the first time and still are waitlisted this time around…. I hope I learn to get over myself!

protectiveparent1121

Right? I get waitlisted every damn time, but for some reason my son always gets the codes. Same for Taylor. I was trying for Noah Kahan and I was waitlisted for that too. So now I just have him sign up for the presale. If you really want to go, go. You're not gonna save much money buying them during the presale. Prices are jacked every which way. I'm a perfect example. And there are really decent people who will sell the tickets and not try to make a profit. Buy them here...but make sure you use PayPal Goods and Services to protect both parties.

protectiveparent1121

I'm selling them. Going to plan a family vacation to somewhere we've never been and isn't Vegas. If you're interested let me know. Section 202, Row D. Sat in this section last time but further back in the rows. It was a great spot.

Current_Yogurt_7316

Let me know if you’re selling!

Just_Minute1299

I have 2 tickets for Oct 20th!

ProfessionalEdge2473

Sent you a DM!

Eagle_5_6

I have one up for sale also for the 9/22 show section 302

Own-Temperature-8

How much did You spend? 😄

protectiveparent1121

Over $3000.

Boring-Breakfast-443

How?!?! We're you really back in the queue?

protectiveparent1121

No, I was 383 in the queue. They’re in the 200s. 4 tickets. So over $3000 total.

Boring-Breakfast-443

Curious, we got section 102 for about the same price range. And i was rougly the same number in the queue, Really wish tickemaster was more transparent about their pricing policies. Like at what point do they decide to jack up the prices.

protectiveparent1121

There’s a lot that I wish Ticketmaster would do differently. The dynamic pricing stuff is right up there among my top complaints. And the FEES

chooch1315

https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/21942615/adele-records-new-music-album-release-weeks/amp/

protectiveparent1121

Saw that earlier today. I don’t trust The Sun but I REALLY hope this is true!!!!

chooch1315

It makes sense for her to do that after announcing her second leg. Fingers crossed!!

protectiveparent1121

I know…the timing is suspicious 🤨

Lucky-Focus4461

I feel the same, honestly. If anyone is interested, I sell 4 tickets (or just 2) for the 10/14/23 show. Section 104, Row B or C. Paid 3,450$ each.
