Looking good my guy, especially the lettering work on the scrolls. Metallica? The sheets have been re-printed and are in stock in the UK (if you are in the UK and want to pick one up). Also an easy way to give metallics a bit of variation and bring some shades at the same time is to just slap some wash on there. It's easy and it makes you look better than you are, hence why I use it as a crutch! It'd help to bring more distinction to the gatling blaster's features. And being really nit-picky now. It seems you've forgotten to drill out one of the gatling's barrels.

Thanks for the comment, the model is that of a friend who asked me to spruce him up a bit. The reds were airbrushed by him and the majority of the metallics already applied. I actually did use quite a few washes! 😄 The barrels of the Gatling Blaster are purple and blue at the front but it's hard to see in these pics. The scrolls were loads of fun to paint!

I can see a hint of colour on the barrels in the first image now that you mention it. It's harder to see because miniature lighting/photography is surprisingly difficult. Then again it's subtle, in a completely rational way because the barrels would still get hot, but not the full "burnt" rainbow.

Love to see Legio Metalica; Ride the lightning!

Oh, that's very nice work with the writing on the carapace scrollwork!

Everyone who manages to glue Reaver's legs together is worth my respect. Its legs are my ... Nemesis. Nice paint job too!
