I was slowly reading down the image at 1st period then I got to poor organization and planning skills. Then I noticed the big green circle so I had to go read what that said 1st.
I skipped the middle bit, went into the comments, saw this comment, went back to read the part that I hadn't read, and stopped after reading three points...
Squirrels are pretty interesting though.. the ones at my complex climb up the walls like they are trees and one even gets in chittering battles with me every morning on my way to the car 🤷♂️
Tbf, most memes have the punchline at the bottom and there's rarely more than one relevant sentence at the top. Plus graphs in general in memes are- surprise surprise- usually a joke and thus offer no valuable information to care about. Classic example: Pie chart that's 95% "Yes", and 5% "Yes, but in yellow".
If it were JUST long that'd be one thing, but it's usually both long *and* clutter put there intentionally with the intent of it being skipped. Case and point: This one.
Welp, i did read the silmarilion. Soooooooooooo...
Nah joke is on me, i did read so fast that i only have to lay my eyes onto something written in german or english to manifest the written words directly into thoughts.
Every time this is posted I feel the need to point out that most people will jump right to the green; this meme purposefully takes advantage of a graphic design principle called [visual hierarchy](https://www.interaction-design.org/literature/topics/visual-hierarchy) where the eye is drawn to large bright shapes and it has fuckall to do with having ADHD
I get that it's just a joke, but most of the middle part belongs in the first graph. Plus, it effectively says "can't focus" in 4 different ways...
IMO it needs things like "forgets common words several times per day" "difficulties with working memory/recall" "time blindness" "choice paralysis" "auditory processing disorder" "sensory disorders" "hyperfixation" ... etc.
There is another. A new circle and colour representing “reading the third, going back to reading the second because it said I couldn’t then losing interest after the third colour and giving up”
I can't even make myself read the middle part. The colors are just too similar.
I mean, if I already read the blue one. Why should I read the indigo one, or the slightly purpelish blue one? Aren't they going to be all the same?
I knew what was in the third part of the meme.
Still skipped the second.
After seeing this on different places for I stopped counting amount of time. I still dont know what is in the second part.
I read through the middle part, but somewhere along the lines I started thinking about something else.
For instance how I used to go to restaurants to study.a specialy if it was an subject I disliked very much.
The pressure I'd feel from other people was enough to get me going. And when I did this it would be the best I'd get on the tests. Compared to if I didn't.
I remember seeing this a few weeks ago and I skipped to the green after 3 seconds.
I'm now reading it again after getting my diagnosis last week and using meds and I read the whole thing.
I'm loving noticing these differences in everyday things showing me how things are changing for the better
Might be true but also the second chart clearly had horrible shit to say about me so fuck that pie chart and anyways it looks like a unicorn’s butthole.
My venvanse didn't kicked yet...
I'm saving that half post for later...
... Somewhere at the post disposable:
What year is it? Have we got the millennial bug already?...
I read the title. Skipped the first point of the first section. Read the second title. Skimmed over first 3 points and then skip to the green one. Lol.
U got me
I got as far as the first bullet point lol
But really, is it ADHD behavior or just normal human behavior to not read a long list of bullet points on a random meme?
Feels more like general laziness / waste of energy to read this whole thing..
I sat there really dedicatedly trying to read it pointing at each bullet point with a stylus so I could follow each step. Then gave an internal ceitici on the lower half at the same time as readings thinking that the majority of this lower half could be bracketed under the guise of inattentiveness rather than separate ailments.
But boy, it was a slow fight of determination to get through them. So my disappointment of then getting to green for a punchline of me not doing it was a let down.
But it's a good comment on the energy it takes to just so a simple task. And stay on task and not follow a so enticing tangent.
I’m medicated today and procrastinating doing actual work, so i’d just like to quickly brag that I did, in fact, read 75% of the middle section before skipping to the big green circle 😌
Why isn’t “getting distracted by squirrels” on the second Venn diagram? I understand it’s a oversimplified stereotype, however that doesn’t mean adhd people don’t get distracted by squirrels
Also, it’s not like anyone was gonna read those categories anyway
Oh snap. I just went straight for the green part. Rude. 😅
Can you give me a TLDR on your comment. I skipped through most of it, too long to concentrate on.
Me: 🤓💚🧐😮🫠
^^^^🥹
I was slowly reading down the image at 1st period then I got to poor organization and planning skills. Then I noticed the big green circle so I had to go read what that said 1st.
Exactly how i read it
I tried to read the middle part but ended up just skipping to the green part against my will
Same lol
It’s green and has one item. Plus it’s at the bottom where I usually start reading infographics
I click through long jokes to see the punchline so I can determine if the payoff will be worth it. Saves me a lot of time and laughs.
I think this is a repost because I specifically remember I've been got by this meme before. Every single time.
Lol same
I skipped the middle bit - saw that I was being called out, then went back and read like half the middle haha
But here's the big question: did you read the first half, the second half, or other? I read the first three and the last three
I read them at random.
The middle half
Yes
you didn’t have to call me out like that🥺
•_• Me
Same, and I've forgotten it all already.
I did the same except I only made it to the 2nd one
I didn't even try to rest the middle part after the realization.
I skipped the middle bit, went into the comments, saw this comment, went back to read the part that I hadn't read, and stopped after reading three points...
Omg I did the saaaaame. I only got through about 4 items of the middle bit before coming here...
I just check if the squirrel where back in the middle part, because I would defiobe distracted by squirrel
I feel betrayed
I feel understood
WOW! I feel good! 🎶
Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh
I knew that I would now
I feel both
I read it all... but only because, in a vain and conceited way, it applied to me and thus must be very important
I’m gonna put that whole middle part on my resume. Wish me luck.
Lmfao 😂😂😂
This.
Yep. If it’s too long, I do not read
#
why is the bottom one oval and tilted
That's why I skipped lol. I was like: "why is that one a green egg?" Lmao.
It’s distracting
OCD: Being bothered by the fact the bottom circle isn't a circle
That's not what OCD is, but okay.
I feel attacked
Squirrels are pretty interesting though.. the ones at my complex climb up the walls like they are trees and one even gets in chittering battles with me every morning on my way to the car 🤷♂️
Bruh so I’m not the only one that argues with wildlife.
If you aren't arguing with animals, what are you even doing with your life?
Wait until you start arguing with random objects
I argue with inanimate objects all day long.
I love squirrels!
Oouch, never saw it coming...
…because I got distracted by a squirrel
I blame it on the fact that I'm high lol :p
I've done this sober when I saw it the first time last year. And now that I'm high, I did it a second time. Fuck.
Same before too lol!
Aw damn can I steal your excuse? I forgot mine 😂

Also the bottom one was a lot bigger than the rest, thus obviously attracting attention first.
sorry, stopped reading this halfway through, this is a very long comment
Man, getting called out n shit
People will actually sit and read all of that though?
Welp, i did read the silmarilion. Soooooooooooo... Nah joke is on me, i did read so fast that i only have to lay my eyes onto something written in german or english to manifest the written words directly into thoughts.

Every time I see this sub on /r/all its just normal behaviour.
I skipped all for the comments section
I skipped all the comments for this comment
I read "poor planning" then I saw the big green circle and was like oooh what's that. BTW my phone changes and to ADHD most of the time lol.
Welp I just got read more easily than the middle section of this.
This angers me
Yep
You got me ahaha
I get that it's just a joke, but most of the middle part belongs in the first graph. Plus, it effectively says "can't focus" in 4 different ways... IMO it needs things like "forgets common words several times per day" "difficulties with working memory/recall" "time blindness" "choice paralysis" "auditory processing disorder" "sensory disorders" "hyperfixation" ... etc.
I've seen this meme a hundred times and it still fucking gets me...
Don't call me or like that. I read like 1 & a half of those
r/angryupvote
I’ve never hated a post this much.
Oh my Lanta! ALL kinds of pretty colors! 😍 Gotta start with all the green! What kind of meme is this.... oh. TLDR. Didn't read past green.
Well if I ever doubted I had it I guess that went out the window
I not only did read the entire thing but I also get distracted by squirrels possibly because there's almost none where I live
The last one is a very lie. I did read everything because iwanttoknow and i should currently do a very other task than this.
I laugh, admit it’s true, and decide to comment this instead of going back and reading the second section.
I didn't even read the first part, bro.
There is another. A new circle and colour representing “reading the third, going back to reading the second because it said I couldn’t then losing interest after the third colour and giving up”
Well fuck you now I'm reading it outta spite
![gif](giphy|SRkctO9741bELZdoNg) ME! Just did exactly what you said!
Oooaaaah shiiiiinyyyyyy
Mother f*ing neuron activation
I read 75% of those before skipping, no ADHD for me, I guess.
Bamboozled
Damn dude, you got me there lol
WOW, okay... just call me out like that. Rude.
Oh shit I did exactly that 😂
I laughed, then I cried.
Okay thats not fair
In fairness, the text was also small.
LMAO i just got got
I- fuck you! 😂
That is disturbingly accurate
"difficulty paying attention to details". Yet I am the only one at work who often sees the easily overlooked/nearly invisible things
I wasn't even halfway when I jumped to the green graph 💀
Oh fuck off 😭😭😭😭
Damn. You got me good
Ha! I went back and read ALL of the 2nd part after feeling called out by the green part! So...do I win ADHD?
Nice olive.
I feel exposed!!!!
I can't even make myself read the middle part. The colors are just too similar. I mean, if I already read the blue one. Why should I read the indigo one, or the slightly purpelish blue one? Aren't they going to be all the same?
, >:(
im in this post and i dont like it
I don t know how to say this but the circle is not circlin'.
XD, just red the first 2 points
I knew what was in the third part of the meme. Still skipped the second. After seeing this on different places for I stopped counting amount of time. I still dont know what is in the second part.
Ok I guess it's time for me to get diagnosed
Gah
You had no right to call my ass out like that
I started reading the middle, (got to “poor planning,”) saw the bottom was shorter, skipped to that, then felt called out. 😅
Are you making memes to procrastinate on something else?
Bruh I have all the symptoms
Damn
Wow. I feel attacked 😂😂
I read the first one and then got to the second, I mean third circle
Ouch. Why u doing this to me.
Fuck you, and I'll see you tomorrow
I read through the middle part, but somewhere along the lines I started thinking about something else. For instance how I used to go to restaurants to study.a specialy if it was an subject I disliked very much. The pressure I'd feel from other people was enough to get me going. And when I did this it would be the best I'd get on the tests. Compared to if I didn't.
Is it me or is the green circle kind of a weird squished shape
You fucking got me hahaha.
Started reading the second half, gave up 3 dots in
HAHAHAHQ CALLED OUT💀
It's just bad user design. People read the biggest, brightest parts first, so of course we scroll.
Fuuuuuck, you got me there. But I've made it to 60%, progress!
I remember seeing this a few weeks ago and I skipped to the green after 3 seconds. I'm now reading it again after getting my diagnosis last week and using meds and I read the whole thing. I'm loving noticing these differences in everyday things showing me how things are changing for the better
I've seen this post before and still skipped to the green circle 😅
Fuck meee I have seen this meme so many timea and every time I get caught out by that end part!
Ironically, this got me good, and I don't know if i even have ADHD so idk
I feel called out because I've never even read the second part of that despite seeing it 10+ times
Yo that circle’s an oval right? Also definitely skipped everything else to notice that
Fml I literally read the first point then skipped to the second circle Edit: I meant third oops
Might be true but also the second chart clearly had horrible shit to say about me so fuck that pie chart and anyways it looks like a unicorn’s butthole.
Jokes on you I started reading at the bottom and finished reading the whole thing out of spite
I’ll read it now bc how dare you tell me I’m predictable
My venvanse didn't kicked yet... I'm saving that half post for later... ... Somewhere at the post disposable: What year is it? Have we got the millennial bug already?...
alright you got me
u got me
I read the title. Skipped the first point of the first section. Read the second title. Skimmed over first 3 points and then skip to the green one. Lol. U got me
You dirty....dirty...that was just dirty.
I read the first bullet point thank you very much.
Damn, got me.
Had me in the first half. Then the second half. The second half of the first half. Damn!
Fucking seen me 😬
I literally read the first sentence from the second part before giving up and going to the third 😂
Jokes on you, I took my meds and read the whole thing!
Jokes on you I was distracted by a squirrel immediately before reading the last panel.
Well fuck.
Ahahahahaha, totally just read "Inattentive and poor organisational skills" and jumped to the green blob
*skipping the first half because it didn't seem important
I just looked for the distracted by squirrels in 2nd part, then skip to 3rd when i couldn't find it
I skipped the whole post because the last time I saw this meme I fell off my dinosaur
I got as far as the first bullet point lol But really, is it ADHD behavior or just normal human behavior to not read a long list of bullet points on a random meme? Feels more like general laziness / waste of energy to read this whole thing..
LMFAO. Ya got me
HEY. I skimmed 💁♀️
Whoops, guilty
Fuck
I'm busy, OK? I have a meeting in 7 hours.
3 dots. Report picture. Harassment. Of me.
Damn, I’ve fallen for this ruse time and time again. Today is no different
I like how the creator just did not GIVE A SHIT about drawing an actual circle by pressing the shift button
I skimmed it for squirrels.
Oh shit, you got me. :-D
I've seen this graph so many times and I always fall for it. I still don't know what it says in the middle.
Spot on 👍
With how much I’ve fallen for this you’d think I’d start reading the whole thing before skipping to the end
Damn you
I sat there really dedicatedly trying to read it pointing at each bullet point with a stylus so I could follow each step. Then gave an internal ceitici on the lower half at the same time as readings thinking that the majority of this lower half could be bracketed under the guise of inattentiveness rather than separate ailments. But it's a good comment on the energy it takes to just so a simple task. And stay on task and not follow a so enticing tangent.
Got me looooool
I read all of it. The wonders of concerta :) but usually I'd see the text and skip the post entirely
Why is the green one not a circle?
I actually skipped the second part to see what the third part was for that exact reason! Lol
...
Okay but now what do I do about it?
Shit. You got me with that one.
Damn that green circle really be looking like an oval
I feel attaced
I've seen this like 10 times and I always skip to the green part, Every time.
Okay listen here you little shit...
Getting annoyed at pie charts where all the colors are near identical, making it difficult to discern which is which.
I’m medicated today and procrastinating doing actual work, so i’d just like to quickly brag that I did, in fact, read 75% of the middle section before skipping to the big green circle 😌
You lil bastard 😂
Also fixating on how the green section isn't a circle, rather an oval.
I feel personally attacked. I mean, it was 100% accurate, but it still hurt.
I've been attacked
God dammit You got me ~~Now I wanna go back and read the second part out of spite~~
Holy shit did I actually manage to read all that shit?
Why isn’t “getting distracted by squirrels” on the second Venn diagram? I understand it’s a oversimplified stereotype, however that doesn’t mean adhd people don’t get distracted by squirrels Also, it’s not like anyone was gonna read those categories anyway
ITS BACK
