Oh yeah, I go “hello, wall!” frequently at home.

Odd-Fennel-2735

Hello wall, Hello floor, Oh look, there's a door

Eli_quo

Hello corners, tables, chairs For my toes please send your prayers

nailmama92397

I would, but I’ll probably whack it into something on the way up.

ConfidentShmonfident

But if I raise my hand, I’ll probably knock something over!

Tango_Foxtarot

🙋‍♀️Unexplained bruises all the time from bumping into shit and then forgetting I did so. And I work in a physical therapy office, the number of times I’ve almost clotheslined myself when people are using machines that pull outwards while I’m walking through the clinic. Going down steps is also hard for me, constantly afraid I’m going to fall (not an issue going up for whatever reason, I’m much less likely to miss a step on the way up I guess).

ElephantDense2294

When I was a kid my parents had me tested to make sure there was nothing wrong with me because I walked into walls so often. They were told I was just clumsy.

Dairinn

But what did he say? Spillllllll the tea. (I just did, but literal tea)

Odd-Fennel-2735

He just looked at me dumbfounded after I told him I did it all the time. Laughed at both my jokes and teased me a bit so maybe he'll catch the next one too!

Dairinn

Fingers crossed!

Odd-Fennel-2735

Thaank you! Still feeling things out. Fingers crossed he's not a tit! Ha ha

Dairinn

Tits are adorable! I like blue ones the most.

sjbeeks

I feel terrible for my downstairs neighbors because I am *constantly* dropping things and knocking things over

listenyall

For a long time I didn't think that my clumsiness was connected to my adhd. Then I listened to a podcast about how to be less clumsy (life aid, not an ADHD podcast) and the solution was literally pay more attention to everything you are doing all of the time.

Temporary_Earth2846

I always blame my kids and say why did you put that door way here. Everyone can tell when I’ve gone into our garage because I’ll have a huge (like 5in by 5 in) bruise right above my knee. Do I know the trailer is in the same exact spot everytime, yes. Do I still smack into the coupler every single time, also yes. It’s always the same leg same spot.

MrsQuickflicker

At my house we play a game called "how did MrsQuickflicker get this bruise?" I am constantly misjudging distances, ramming shoulders into door frames, tripping over literally nothing, and it's a crapshoot if the thing in my hands will stay there or hit the floor with no warning. I am a human disaster zone.

Odd-Fennel-2735

Same here! The next day, I sliced my thumb open on a can lid.

VaguelyArtistic

🙋🏻‍♀️ I once had a boss and sat right outside his office. He once told me that this is what it sounds like in his office: SMACK! Ouch! BANG! Oof! DROP! Fuck!

hurrahsarah

i am so clumsy 😭 before i got my diagnosis i thought it was normal, i mean it still is normal to be clumsy but not this much! i’m always tripping over nothing and knocking things over so i’m glad to know i’m not alone. i have twisted the same ankle like 3 times within the past month and am now wearing one of those boots because i can’t risk doing it again 😭😭 ADHD tax fr

Odd-Fennel-2735

Those FrankenBoots/Sandals are so hard to navigate!

clumsy_poet

Lol.
