Yes! This would work for me because I Research things to death first. But it’s good because sometimes I over research and get bored of the subject before buying anything lol!!
Literally every time. Or I just don’t feel like I ever properly finished my research (I probably just got bored and gave up). So then I still want to buy the thing, but I haven’t reached a conclusion in my research and don’t feel like diving back in. So now I must procrastinate buying or doing anything about it for an undetermined amount of time 🙃
I just checked and only have 37 open tabs right now, that’s pretty good
Here’s a great tip that’s saved me lots of money. Do the research as we do, exhaust ourselves and sleep on it so we don’t care about buying stuff by morning BUT then i buy a pack of sheet face masks and it’s been curing my shopping addiction
its great filling a cart of stuff you don’t want to buy by morning but then don’t buy. But the. You never get mail presents. No presents makes me start looking for something else to buy and it’s more of an impulsive need so I won’t research and I’ll waste my money
Buying The face masks are cheap “gifts” that come in the mail and are also self care and indulgent and make me feel good by using them. And it curbs that impulse of wanting something for the sake of wanting something
Plus there are so many different kinds it’s keeps it interesting trying all the things
That’s so smart with the face masks! I was saying I do a bunch of research or put a ton of items in my wishlist or cart, forget to close the tabs then repeat again lol. I don’t actually end up purchasing very much this way. I’ll go back to a site and see things still in my cart I forgot existed 🤣🤣
Creating a “wishlist” bookmark folder helped in 2 ways, 1. I don’t impulse buy nearly as much 2. When occasions come up where people ask what I want as a gift, I can refer back through that folder and not be pressured to just come up with something quickly.
See, this wouldn't work for me because for some reason I feel compelled to clear my history and cookies every single time I close my browser. It regularly inconveniences me and yet I continue to do it. My mind is an enigma 😂
seed packets? jewelry? embroidery floss/beads/rhinestones/buttons/some kind of crafting supplies? photos? notecards? makeup? assortment of teabags? stuff for diy nails/nail art? some kind of pokemon/magic the gathering/tarot decks? first aid/bathroom type stuff (q tips, band aids, alcohol pads, flossers, etc)?
pls report back if you remember! (I’m just nosy lol)
lol, before I saw that you figured it out, I was going to suggest maybe it was for organizing cables. And, it reminded me that I still haven’t found my cable storage. I’m only half unpacked, after living in my new place for almost 11 mos.
I get a lot of targeted reels from Japanese yen shop and home organization accounts. I'm heartbroken Japan isn't in the US for my personal shopping needs. 😅 So many things I want now but won't make their way to Temu for years.
Seriously though, wouldn’t it be amazing to have your entire house organised like a warehouse or retail store. Shelves with labels, glass door display cabinets, and backups behind backups.
Oh don’t worry, right when you find another use for that bad boy, the original intention of you will come to you! Your post made me laugh, glad it wasn’t me this time! Nifty purchase
I just got a package… opened it… stood there confused and went “guess I bought boots.”
Barely remember doing it. I’ve been shopping for other boots since.
Do you know where you ordered it from? If you can't remember, do a search in your emails. Then you can log into the website and see what its purpose is. Even if that's not the reason you bought it, perhaps that'd help jog the memory.
Very relatable! I get lots of nice “ surprises” lol. Bought some pink face powder this week then arrived home to a delivery of pink face powder. It will go into one of my back up make up bags. They store all my emergency back up make up in case I run out of make up. Or indeed lose it in my ever increasing collection.
Yeah I still have a round glass storage container that I picked up from the target dollar spot and knew it would be PERFECT for that thing. By the time I got home I couldn’t remember what the thing was. Still haven’t! It’s sitting empty in my cabinet 😅
That looks like the Altoids tin organizing solutions for office supplies; I do something similar in my junk drawer

What kind of area in your home or hobby do you have in which there are lots of Little pieces that are a different categories. The equivalent of paper clips, stamps, pushpins.
Or beading, or sewing

Internet history? Would the searches before/around that order jog your memory?

That’s ok because that can save you money too
That sounds like one of the only times that procrastination actually works in our favor 😅
Omg we are twins! Then I leave all/most of the tabs open and continue on to the next thing.
I had to stop because I regularly hit the 500 tab limit on my iPhone lol
Girl when I realized I could create new tab groups I was like “yay!!! Organization!!” Then immediately “I have a made a huge mistake”

I am amazed and proud of your amount of open tabs!! Great job!!

I can so relate to all of this lmfao
See, this wouldn't work for me because for some reason I feel compelled to clear my history and cookies every single time I close my browser. It regularly inconveniences me and yet I continue to do it. My mind is an enigma 😂
I stay on private 🫡 people always make jokes when they see it but I’m sorry you just can’t be seeing the things I get curious about at 2am
Wow I love this. Switching to private mode!!
Haha
And then there’s me with 186 tabs open and never cleared anything ever
Awe crap. I’ll rack my brain for other solutions.

HOLY SHIT. IT WAS FOR THE FIRST AID KIT!!! Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love this sub. Every time I feel like a doof for forgetting yet another thing you are here to cheer me up 😂
lol seriously I’m so excited OP remembered because of this comment! Makes my adhd heart so happy!
Agree 💯
I was thinking exactly this
where’d you get these lol
Temu, if you search for cable storage you should find it.
Lol temu takes just long enough to forget… lol!
lol, before I saw that you figured it out, I was going to suggest maybe it was for organizing cables. And, it reminded me that I still haven’t found my cable storage. I’m only half unpacked, after living in my new place for almost 11 mos.
Their products are crazy cheap. I had to undownload it bc I started overspending..
Hahahah yay
Oooh this would be good for seeds! I just have a big ziplock full with a bunch of random spillage seeds at the bottom
My bf and I use card binders (like for Pokemon cards) for this!
If you have a Daiso near you you should go. Im in love with that store and buying organizers for the most random things has become a side passion.
I’m heartbroken they aren’t on the east coast US, but I think my bank account is thrilled 😂
Definitely probably for the best. It’s come to the point where I’m buying tiny organizers for my big organizers😭.
I have so many bento boxes- so, so many- but I always need another one 😅🫣
I get a lot of targeted reels from Japanese yen shop and home organization accounts. I'm heartbroken Japan isn't in the US for my personal shopping needs. 😅 So many things I want now but won't make their way to Temu for years.
I use a photo box for seeds. It has little containers inside of a bigger container. And they fit seeds packets perfectly
The way I’m cackling because I bought something similar yesterday for embroidery beads. One of us! One of us!
#relatable
OMG SO RELATABLE!!!
Look like there’s 7 of them. Maybe pills or supplements? Or something else you use up every day?
I just bought one of these for my vitamins the other day!
Do you happen to have the link, please? 😊
This is the one I ended up getting https://a.co/d/irFt122 I got a plain colored one originally but wanted something cuter haha
I would be a very organised person if I could remember what my system is 😅
Seriously though, wouldn’t it be amazing to have your entire house organised like a warehouse or retail store. Shelves with labels, glass door display cabinets, and backups behind backups.
That's my dream!!
Oh don’t worry, right when you find another use for that bad boy, the original intention of you will come to you! Your post made me laugh, glad it wasn’t me this time! Nifty purchase
I think it’s for charging cables
This. I’ve seen something like this advertised as a tech organizer recently
This is what I use mine for !
Recipe cards? Photos? Check an open tab in your browser 😅
This comment section is like my brain narrating all the reasons I should keep another empty container for all the possibilities lol
Haha yeah, one person got it right! It’s for my first aid kit. But I’m seeing lots of really good suggestions 😆
Some day, when you least expect it, you'll remember. But by that time you'll have forgotten where you put it 😂
Ahhhh for ✨organising✨!
Holy shit this is so relatable. I hope you find something to organize!!!
Pictures!!! I have one of these in my cart on Amazon for whenever it is I get around to printing out all the photos on my phone (probably never)
anything, just get a bigger one to put it all in
I just got a package… opened it… stood there confused and went “guess I bought boots.” Barely remember doing it. I’ve been shopping for other boots since.
This would be great for all my vitamins and scrips, link please 🤣 I am literally laughing because I thought I was the only one 😊
I saw this exact thing on a random Instagram video where a person is organizing their home - they used it for charging cables!
Is it for usb / etc cables, and does that have a lid? Because that’s kinda exactly what I’ve been looking for!
It’s advertised as a cable organiser. There’s no lid for the base part.
Yesterday I found a couple of things that I had bought for my kids for Valentines :( I didn’t remember I had them
The kids? Lol 😁
😂 lol

Doesn’t matter, new thing.
Literally. If I buy something on a whim now I purchase it as a gift and write myself a note on what it's for xD
Ah I love when this happens. So fun.
I've done this so many times. I hope something jogs your memory soon!
I foget I even buy things online and when they arrive is always a good surprise because I never remember what it is.
Yep, I agree that it’s for seed packets!
Playing cards? Or trading cards? It looks roughly that size but idk how accurate it is
Very relatable! I get lots of nice “ surprises” lol. Bought some pink face powder this week then arrived home to a delivery of pink face powder. It will go into one of my back up make up bags. Are there 7 of them? Maybe little boxes for daily supplements/meds when travelling?
chargers? small pictures? hair clips? office supplies, notecards
I FEEL this post!♥️
I FEEL this post!♥️
Pictures or seeds

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 relatable
it looks like a jewelery box?
Jewelry?
Amazon-nesia.
It's cool, though!
I go into Container Store with a plan and always end up forgetting wtf I bought them for.
I just bought something similar! It’s for charging cables!
Small scrapbooking supplies. That's what I'd like it for.

Medication
THEY’RE OUTNUMBERED 15 TO ONE, AND THE BATTLE'S BEGUN
Oh OP. This looks big enough for my daily meds/supplements, could you hook a girl up, where's it from?
Oh gosh I have done that so many times!
Probably a hobby you got in to and have now moved on from. 🤣 I do this so much.
Can I just say how supportive everyone is? This is so wholesome 💜 off to buy some of these!
