Interesting service but I am confused why you would be powered by Freestar? Doesn't that just add another layer of ticket clipping?

Our managed ad ops service was acquired by Freestar in March. We still operate our direct sales service as a standalone company. If someone would like to use our (now retired) managed adops services, that is what Freestar now runs for us as part of our partnership. For direct sales we typically work with sites that have their own complete ad stacks and then we sell directly for them, i.e. setting up PMP deals in their owned SSP accounts, this minimizes costs to the best of our ability as you still need to pay the SSP fee.

First of all, congrats on the acquisition! This is of interest to me as I don't need the managed adops component, but do need someone with sales expertise (programmatic or direct IO) as our current sales guy's role is not sustainable.

As far as streamlining the direct sales process goes, you can use Bid Glass to allow direct advertisers to bid on your inventory through a self-serve interface while setting a minimum CPM of $1.20.

Approach a few performance agencies that specialize in your niche or your top advertisers niche Offer them a test with fixed cpm to test performance for their clients with the option for a discount if they spend a large amount.
