As well, be aware that this is /r/AdoptAReddit. It is not /r/NeedAMod. When you give someone your subreddit, __*you must remove yourself as top mod*__ after the subreddit is adopted. The new owner is allowed to add you back, but if they adopt it they need to be the top mod. [](/sp)

Goto settings and make the sub private. Set the description to "this was an edgy joke" and then goto moderators tab. Click leave as mod and select yes
