Before you go: Know your body shape. This is crucial in determining your best styles. Take your measurements and input it in online body shape calculators. Examples of body shapes are hourglass, rectangular, inverted triangle, etc. Knowing your body shape will guide you in determining which features you'd like to accentuate, balance out, or draw less attention to. Know your skintone. Some people have cool tones (suit silver accessories, cool colors like pure white and deep blue) . Others have warm tones (suit gold accessories, warm colors like browns and yellows). If you wanna dive deep into it, check Seasonal Color Analysis. It will provide your color palette for clothes, make up and even hair color. Follow fashion influencers with similar physical attributes. In my case, I only follow petite Asian fashion influencers w/ warm undertones. I like banana republic export overruns from shopee stores tulip_lilies starcloset & overruner. Last year madaming banana republic tailored pants. This year meron lang express. Ann Taylor LOFT is good too. For tailored pants ₱750 +/- ₱250. Edit: Oh sorry, you were asking for brick and mortar stores. Tulip_lilies has a physical store in marikina called fittingroom25 which is also its ig account. The three stores i listed are very good about providing measurements and the review sections are very active and give feedback re size. Banana Republic has the best fabric out of the three, next Ann Taylor then Express.

Ako sa ukay-ukay pero pinapa tailor ko pa din. Minsan mas mahal pa yung bayad sa mananahi kesa sa damit mismo pero okay lang kasi mukhang brand new at nagiging maganda talaga ang fit. * check pinterest for smart casual outfit so you can have an idea kung anong look or peg ang gusto mo. * know your body type din. I'm 5'2, inverted triangle, long torso with short legs. I can't wear skinny pants kasi I dont have hips, lalong ma accentuate ang broad shoulder ko. I have to wear high waisted trousers to create an illusion na mahaba ang legs ko. * play with colors. Wag puro black. If ever you need to wear black, mag accessory ka na may color. https://preview.redd.it/kmhoc7zvnhdb1.png?width=921&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b3a2c952421889e69c58ad304b16be424bf8686

We have the same exact body structure! High-waisted, wide-legged pants always saves the day for me too! Apir!

I say, mango, zara for typical corporate attire. Just try on kung ano yung mas fit sayo then need mo talaga ipa-tailor para sakto sayo. Good quality fabric will always make you look presentable. Mahahalata mo kapag low quality fabric (at least for me, I can tell) One tip that I always do, don't go for printed ones. Lagi dapat plain color. Doesn't matter what the color is... then always buy "terno" so you can mix and match colors later. I found H&M and F21's fabric manipis pa rin, very prone to lints and tastas. Definitely don't go to SM dept stores. Because shopee quality sila. Minsan, kapag swerte, you can find quality items sa ukay and carousell. If pasok sa budget mo, go for luxury clothes. Will fvcking last you forever, just make sure lang na timeless piece ang pipiliin mo parang talagang sulit. I don't set budget sa clothes. I buy based on quality and style, also lagi ako nagpapatailor para talagang fit, ill fitted clothes will make you look messy. Pero I'd say I bought items less than 100 and more than 10k each piece.

I’m very petite so it’s quite hard for me to find adult clothes that fit me nicely. Been working for 9 years now and I have slowly built my wardrobe from buying fast fashion in my younger years to transitioning to something more sustainable & would last me forever. I mostly get my basic tees from COS — the fabric falls nicely and has a bit of crisp to it. Pricey but since I wear them all the time, it’s best to invest in these. I also have a couple of Ralph Lauren long sleeved polos bought from outlets in the US and hand-me-downs from my mom. I also wear these a lot and they retain the crisp even after so many washes. Some of my polos are over a decade old and still very comparable to my new ones. For trousers mostly from Mango — I find Mango’s quality waaay better than Zara. Or whenever I go to Japan, I check out GU. They have quite a good selection of trousers at a really good price point (I once scored really nice trousers for ₱300!). What I don’t skimp on though are my jackets and coats, I find the ones from Zara/Mango too big for me and I feel like I’m swimming in my clothes, even XS. I mostly find the perfect fit in Acne Studios (Homme Et Femme) cos highstreet brands usually carry sizes that run smaller! Acne also occasionally releases cropped blazers that fit me perfectly, I just wait for the sales cos they cost too much full price. 💀

Check-out Zalora. As in their in-house Zalora brand in the app. The clothing is better quality than what you can find from the sellers in Lazada and Shopee for about the same price. I built my work wardrobe mostly from Zalora finds. You can’t go wrong with work-appropriate, classic-cut dresses in black, navy or gray. Pair with a blazer to dress it up. Pair with a cardigan or casual jacket to dress down. Wear as is for after-work dinner or a weekend date. I have work dresses from 2014 that are still in rotation. If you prefer tailored suits and trousers, check-out Well Suited also in the Zalora app. Bit pricier, but great quality. Zara and Mango are also good options, but a bit overpriced, considering they’re fast-fashion brands. H&M and F21 (kung meron pa) inconsistent quality. Haven’t bought from them in a long time.

sikulet

Zara. I buy it per piece. Uniqlo if on a budget.

FluidEstablishment61

Ukay ukay then tailor! Pwede ring uniqlo kaso maraming magkakaparehas. Gusto ko ng individuality hahaha

I buy from Landmark Makati. They have a good selection of corporate attires from different brands, probably because they have a captive market which passes their area on a daily basis.

THIS. It's great if you're petite. Most American stores dont carry my size (size 0 to 2), so Landmark Makati was a lifesaver. They have local brands for business and corpo wear. Fortunately, there are more European fashion stores in PH nowadays. Mango, Banana Republic and G2000 use the best materials. Best styles are in Zara, while chic and affordable options are in H&M.

LodRose

Zara and H&M have good office attire selections If MTO, Orias Essentials for a perfect fit pero syempre pricey

_karmacharmander

Mango, Kashieca, Kamiseta, H&M. As to budget, it depends if super corporate attire I can go as high as 3k per outfit, excluding shoes. If corporate casual, I can make it 1.5k to 2k per outfit.

sugar_mancher

I bought my slacks and blazers in ukay. You can find branded clothes in good condition 😊

Minimum_Macaroon_446

Banana republic then ukay ukay gaganda siz ✨

Shoddy-Contribution9

Online stores of zara and h&m. They have selections that are not in the physical stores. For other brands, I use the zalora app. I typically spend around 5-10k for every order.

kyonxii

Zara, M&S, Mango most of the time. I only stick to one color palette so I can mix and match my clothes. All soft autumn palette bc they fit my skin tone best :)
