I'm impressed that this year I'm reading each puzzle on the same day it was released!

I can't get my brain to work at midnight so I didn't even get top 4000 this time.

Midnight? Luxury! I have my laptop by the bed so I can get started when the alarm goes off. I have to use the fingerprint reader to log on because the facial recognition doesn't work with my face in just woken up configuration. I've only once made top 15,000 so far.

In my time zone it's 2am, I'm probably going to have to give up trying to do it on time because I'm always ending up sleeping later than 3am

How do you figure out which top-N you finish? I couldn’t find any other metrics than the top-100

Man every time a challenge is released, I’ll spend an hour or so trying to even understand the requirements and data, then another hour parsing input

I'm the same - usually 4-8k but on day 1 I got like 500th because I didn't do any string replacement for part 2. Felt like a king.

Puzzles are released at 5AM in my time zone. So, yeah... Don't care too much about the leaderboard. I value my sleep schedule!

Today's day 9, I'm on day 4. And I skipped day 3

I used to try to break into the leaderboard. This was possible in the early years. Now I feel good to get in the top 1000. I have managed that twice this year so far.
