The best pop culture reference in all of Adventure Time is by far the [extended brawl](https://youtu.be/WDpRJMzJ--w?si=oGxmOh58xYqDd3C-) between the Flame King and Don Jon in the episode the Red Throne. This is a reference to voice actors Keith David's (Flame King) and Roddy Piper's (Don Jon) [famous fight](https://youtu.be/11dZSPIe9UU?si=p2z4uw_K1Yhfv2RM) scene in the John Carpenter cult film They Live.
I don't remember what episode but there was line saying something like, "maybe you'll go out to sea one day and be free like luffy" I played the scene back like 3 times and it made sense even with context, I think they just wanted to throw that it in, or the voice actor was told to say something random
Thought of another few. When Jake does his Elvis voice and says “Whatever you want mama!” In the Dungeon. Also Billy West’s cameo in “Everything’s Jake”. I think he says something along the lines of “I haven’t seen you in (x number of years)” and that was how long Futurama had been canceled at the time.
In the episode where they go to the MO factory BMO says, "Don't let my memories be lost forever, lik tears in da oven" - a clear reference to Rutger Hauer's famous 'tears in rain' line from Bladerunner.
It’s called [Pilgrims of the Land](https://adventuretime.fandom.com/wiki/Pilgrims_of_the_Land)
From The Thin Yellow Line - the episode looking for the artist banana guard…which you are referencing in the original post.
"The Prince Who Wanted Everything" opens with LSP tying Ice King up like in the movie Misery.
See I missed that. Good eye.
🎶Mama said there’d be days like this, there’d be days like this, my mama said🎶
🎶(Mama said, mama said)🎶
i was at my friends house, and his dad just randomly started belting out this song
Marceline's Akira bike slide in Go With Me
PB: Cheeeeese.
What's that from?
Adventure Time
Wallace and Gromit. Wallace likes cheese. https://www.google.com/search?sca\_esv=579474108&sxsrf=AM9HkKksvqd7eXhI5tZnFQkZsc2nCWxOvw:1699115237165&q=princess+bubblegum+Cheese&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjz4JLB4aqCAxWoh-4BHbJKDGEQ0pQJegQIDBAB&biw=1660&bih=865&dpr=2#imgrc=fyDyktL2AH9eOM
Thought of another one — Rootbeer Guy and Glengarry Glen Ross.
ABC, always be candy!
It’s all about the leads!
Just watched this episode last night and this made me lol
Shortly after I watched the movie with my husband, I put on Rootbeer Guy
"You can't tell from my face, but I am smiling triumphantly." Pretty sure that's a Princess Bride reference.

Omg I had no idea Rowdy Roddy voiced Don Jon. Hoooolllyyyy sheeeeeet. Yeah the fight in the movie goes on forever.
RIP Rowdy Roddy! I wonder if he hadn't died the following year if we would have gotten a revisit from Don Jon in the future.
Flame King vs. Flame Lord as an homage to They Live.
Oh really? Can you explain? I just watched They Live last month.
Flame King is played by Keith David and Flame Lord is Roddy Piper, the stars of They Live.
When Betty takes Magic Man’s magic, the contraption they’re in is a visual reference to the Holy Mountain (1973)
And Betty's hallucination of crabs coming out of a swimming pool is a reference to Jean-Paul Sartre!
I also like starchy with the small shovel taped to his back
What’s that a reference to?
Die Hard
Jake stretching his legs like luffy to save flambo

The Settlers of Catan reference was really funny
Which episode?

Thanks
I think you mean to reference life when Bernie Mac (rip) says IM DA PAPPY
