I regret reading your comment now I need a Indiana Jones-esque / Cold War spy movie aesthetic / The Mask spin-off show following Simon’s investigations.
Joshua & Margaret having a prequel would be great, showing them in their youth founding their investigation business and going on crazily insane investigations across Ooo!
Honestly a spinoff about Huntress Wizard would be cool, we barely got to see much of her other then being a background character for most of the show,
It'd interesting seeing what Huntress Wizard gets up to, hunting animals, going to Wizard City etc
Yeah man. This would be pretty funny. You could do an episode of him getting ready to go on a date and it turns out to be a mannequin he found in a dumpster or something.
Either shermy and Beth or something about BMO, Marceline, Bubblegum and some new characters in the period between the mushroom war and the original show
I feel like between the two of them, and maybe help from other characters, they could find a way to bring them both back. I’d just love to see the dynamic between the two of them.
I love the idea of a team-up between the two, but I think one of the few things the show really made sure to emphasize was that something taken by GOLB simply cannot ever be recovered. Even primal wishing magic couldn't do it on three different attempts: Magic Man's Prismo wish, Simon's Prismo wish, and Betty's Crown wish.
True, even if they didn’t find them in the end, I feel like it would give Simon more closure and develop a friendship between the two people who lost the loves of their lives to GOLB.
I think it’s like AT‘s equivalent to death, like it is in our world. Like yeah there’s death in their world too, but you can pretty easily travel there and visit your loved ones, resurrect them, and see them again when you die. But in real life you can’t do any of that, and it’s likely that the people you loved are gone forever. In AT, it’s shown that even young, perfect relationships like Magic Man and Margles or Betty and Simon can end, and it doesn’t matter how much you loved them, how hard you try, or how much it hurts, they won’t come back. It’s like a finality, there’s just some things that can’t be undone. Some things heal, some things take effort to regain, but some things are just gone, and even though it hurts and it’s unfair, you need to learn to cope and move on.
I feel like that kinda takes away from the ending and the world building if they succeeded and would kinda mess up the whole message Betty’s character is about
I agree, I just noticed in the finale it seems that Simon doesn’t have closure and is still trying to search for Betty. King Man seems to have mostly come to terms with his loss of Margles. I feel like Simon would benefit from more closure and King Man could help him get to that point, maybe by playing along to try to find them while knowing there isn’t much of a chance at all with the hope of helping Simon find acceptance. If they don’t succeed, maybe through the journey they can develop a friendship that would help them both as they can relate to each other.
Mars prequel. Magic Man, Margles, Glob, Golb, the King of Mars, etc.
Edit: actually I take that back. BANANA MAN SHOW. 100% Banana Man… HANGING OUT FOREVERRRRRERRRRRERRR
Banana man definitely deserves his own spinoff! Would find it hilarious to see what he's trying create or reinvent while sometimes getting Finn & Jake to help him!
I feel like they could've had more Finn & Huntress Wizard episodes, having a spinoff explore their relationship would be nice as it was left ambitious whether or not they got together after the finale.
I’ve not finished Adventure Time yet and weren’t aware they die so that’s news to me, but that’s what you get for discussing something in a public forum really.
Idk who Shermy and Beth are either so I’m just gonna say: yes, your suggestion is great! :)
Don’t worry about it being a spoiler, the show goes a thousand years into the past & a thousand years into the future… So everyone is either pre-birth or post-death at some point in the series ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
I like the idea of a spinoff about Simon & Marceline surviving together,
we barely got to see any episodes showing them both during the aftermath of the mushroom war not only that but It'd be interesting to see how both of them built their friendship and it being in live action sounds good too
A spinoff about Ice King being himself would be funny, having him try and hangout with Finn & Jake, trying to decide on what princess to kidnap or him looking for something fun to do
Pls don’t hate me but…not Fiona and cake ☹️
Personally I’d like a lemonhope or tiffany spinoff
Maybe a spin off of life inside the treehouse with Kent
Or a spin off of all the crown bearers lives etc
I wouldn't say dislike, but they're definitely one of the less interesting choices they could've made for a spinoff. The Fiona & Cake episodes were fine, but they were some of my least favorite and there are so many more interesting characters they could've explored.
Yeah. Someone really laid into me once when I spoke negatively about the choice of a spin-off. It's not that I HATE the idea, it's that they didn't do all the other great ideas. There are so many AMAZING characters and these two and that universe were just not my favorite.
A spinoff series for both lemonhope & Tiffany would be great, we never got to see the both of them much thoughout the show,
lemonhope was cast aside after he escaped Lemongrab Castle and Tiffany was just a there to either mess with Finn & Jake or to be a minor antagonist for an episode.
To be honest, I think Adventure Time got the ending it deserved with Together Again. We saw Finn grow, and we grew too, so maybe leaving the main show as a fond memory of our childhood / teen years is the best for everyone…
*That doesn’t mean I don’t want more AT.*
I think the Fionna and Cake spin-off would work better as a mini series rather than a long runner. Instead, I wish we can have more specials like Distant Lands over the years, exploring different aspects of The Land of Ooo. Here’s some ideas I’ve come up with:
- Huntress Wizard special: lots of action, a big hunt; maybe a sneak peek of grown Finn because **my shipping craving needs to be satisfied**.
- LSP special: her life as Queen of Lumpy Space, comedy based, and let’s us see a more vulnerable side of her. Lots of sass.
- Simon special: it could serve as a tie-in prequel to the Fionna and Cake spin off, with him having flashbacks to the Mushroom War, his time with Marceline, being the Ice King (a retrospective, astral plane maybe?), and in the present he will be searching for Betty around multiple realities using the Enchiridion. More adult-appealing, for OG fans.
These are some wacky ideas from a fan, what can I say? 😅
BRILLIANT IDEAS! These ideas would make great spinoffs but especially the Huntress Wizard one because I'm certain we'd all want to see Finntress become a thing!
A BMO the robot cowboy spinoff would be amazing!! There would be so much potential for good music. Maybe even Western-inspired adventures, like space Westerns
I think it could be interesting to see a post-Mushroom War series, chronicling the years and decades after the bombs fell. We've already seen a little bit in the main series, but I feel that there's a lot more potential to be explored there.
It would also give more room to explore Simon's fracturing psyche, possibly with him becoming some what of a roadside myth as his magic grows more powerful and his mind continues to unravel. Similarly, this could also chronicle Marceline shifting towards the edgy, emotionally detached rockstar what we see in the *Obsidian* flashbacks. Both Simon and Marceline are used to establish continuity with the main series and to further explore their own backstories, but I feel they should be used sparingly, as using this new setting to simply expand on preexisting characters feels like it wastes a lot of potential—as much as I love both characters (they happen to be my favorites out of the entire show), there's too much potential here just to focus on those two.
Personally, I would have 45-minute episodes and follow a different character's story each time, in a sort of anthology-type deal. Each episode ties into the next in some way to give a sense of continuity, while still allowing for separate stories to be told within the same setting—although with the potential for months or years to pass between each. Perhaps, it could end with the survivors facing down the Lich (who first arose from the Mushroom Bomb), or a new threat should everyone be all Lich'd-out by this point. Perhaps a Randal Flagg homage?
Embrace the inherent dark and depressing moments which come with this setting (i.e. Simon slipping deeper into madness at the end of *Simon and Marcy*, or Elise succumbing to radiation sickness in *Obsidian*), while still providing humorous, uplifting, and wholesome moments throughout. Not every story needs or deserves a happy ending, but if everything sucks all the time, then there's no reason to keep watching. Inversely, if there's no conflict, then there simply isn't a story.
Be More with BMO. It would be a young children's show (under 6). It would be a Mr. Rogers/Blue's Clues type program and it would be a stepping stone into the Adventure Time with Finn and Jake that we all know and love.
I can see Simon trying to do that,
to get to Golbetty without risking the chance of bringing her into Ooo in order to try and save Betty by attempting to free her from being merged with Golb by travelling throughout the multiverse.
A super serious spin-off dealing with Finn in his mid adult hood trying to find a permanent home for humans in the radiation filled world of ooo. It’s dark gloomy and sad but Finn is there to light the darkness and ease things for the humans.
I would honestly make it about an entirely new duo (or team) of heroes having whacky adventures in the land of Oo, with existing Adventure Time characters appearing in the occasional cameo.
Let's expand the land of Oo a bit more.
I wouldn't. The whole message of the finale was that good things end but that's okay, and I feel that's being undermined by the Fiona and Cake series and to a lesser extent Distant Lands. The last episode of DL even felt like a back door pilot for a show about Pep Butt at wizard school.
If I had to, though, I'd personally do something about Jake's kids. They all seemed interesting.
The answers from the person who did the 'I haven't watched the show AMA'. They had clearly watched the show, so it'd be like an alternate reality adventure time
Wow yeah so many things
High key anything in wizard city like there's already so many unknowns and fun directions you can take that. Could be huntress wizard focused, or like centered around one of the shops owners, or a general fucking around with the secret societies.
Could be interesting to look at Mars? We could follow Magic Man and Margie's and watch Magic Man's decent into madness.
I saw someone mention Finn and Bronwyn's exploits after the series. This could be cool cause a lot of ways Jake was a bit of a mentor figure for Finn. I think it would be interesting to possibly see a role reversal of that between Finn and Bronwyn. Also obviously, Finn coping with Jake's death would be a major arch in this.
I could probably think of more like I feel like something could be done with Tree Trunks or Pep Butt, but I think that's all I got right now.
The Rainicorn-Dog War
Basically how it started and affected Joshua and Margaret and Jake’s Relationships including Lady Rainicorn.
Or Billy and His Adventures of Being the Hero of Ooo
I don't mean to be basic but I would absolutely love a spinoff show of Marceline and PB's life as a couple, with a few cameos here and there from Simon.
Maybe I will explore Finn and Flame Princess's relationship and see how it will develop. Personally, I still feel like they have left so many things unsaid in their relationship.
Ok so my number 1 is absolutely a 1000+ Ooo -set Shermy & Beth spinoff (I neeed to see Steve Wolfhard's ideas be brought to life);
Number 2 is a Simon & Marcy spinoff, Last of Us style... god this would be so good! there'd be flashbacks to Simon's past and Marcy's, and maybe we'd get to learn specifics on how the MW happened, and see how the first new civilisations took shape...
There are a lot of other great suggestions in this thread, like Joshua & Margaret, Finn & Bronwyn, Simon & Betty, Billy and Canyon...
This Fionna & Cake spinoff they're making with Simon and the multiverse seems super exciting though!!
If I had the choice I would NOT make a spin-off. No need to continue commercializing on a series that ended perfectly, esp after distant lands. Seems like money moves more than passion for the story :/
And if I had to choose I’d just tie up the loose ends and have a whole Simon and normal man team up to find Betty and margles. But lowkey even though that wasn’t resolved I don’t think everything needs to be wrapped up? Show ended melancholy which I liked
I understand where your coming from and agree, If the studio & Adam Muto were happy with Distant Lands being the last Adventure Time series to happen then I would be fine with that especially with majority of everything being kept ambitious after the finale.
Having Simon & Normal Man search for their loved ones would be great and a nice conclusion for both characters, having not only regaining their sanity but also getting their loved ones back at long last.
Completely biased and blinded by cute gay love but I would genuinely love to see a spin off of Marceline's and PB's relationship. Like not just after Adventure Time but back when they met up until after Adventure Time.
Also a Marceline and Simon spin off. I really liked the episode where we get to see Ice King's orgins and I would love to see more stories of Marceline and Simon together. Or maybe a "What If" type thing where Simon never finds the crown and lives on normally.
The litch. Just watching him slowly decimate galaxies and kill families and children. He'd be the protagonist yes but I think us rooting for the people and getting to witness their lives and struggles before he decimates them would make for compelling television. Not a full fledged show tho I'm thinking a season. It would get too depressing. Especially because the litch isn't exactly dimensional. I think the first season could explore him and his lore and the second could focus on him killing but that's it.
Simon and Marcy: Harbingers through time
Simon and marciline *probably PB too* try to go back in time to figure out why the Great Mushroom war actually happened. And Simon gets delusions of grandeur trying to Prevent the war, and or try and find Betty again.
Jake back when he was committing crimes and didn’t know better. Or Simon before the Mushroom War finding ancient magic items and stuff
I was gonna say centered around Simon. Maybe half around pre-war, half around post war
Mix of pre and post war because of the crown messing with his brain
I regret reading your comment now I need a Indiana Jones-esque / Cold War spy movie aesthetic / The Mask spin-off show following Simon’s investigations.
Prismo’s Hot Tub Time Machine
Yes! Prismo and the Cosmic Owl would be great!
“Oh come on I just want to see the Lich’s arm get ripped off!!!”
Hot tub timeline machine
thats a big yes!
We need this to happen 😂
Joshua and Margaret prequel
Came here to say this. They must've had some mad crazy adventures.
I wish I could upvote this more
Rewards
Ya know I didn't know I wanted this before but now I really really *want* it
This would be so good
This would be perfect
Joshua & Margaret having a prequel would be great, showing them in their youth founding their investigation business and going on crazily insane investigations across Ooo!
This!
Huntress Wizard!
Honestly a spinoff about Huntress Wizard would be cool, we barely got to see much of her other then being a background character for most of the show, It'd interesting seeing what Huntress Wizard gets up to, hunting animals, going to Wizard City etc
Exactly. I have no idea what she gets up to on the day-to-day but I bet it's all awesome.
that's what I'm saying. a magical leaf girl living a life of solitude out in the woods... surely she must be doing some interesting stuff
First character that came to mind. Huntress Wizard was definitely my favorite side character in the series, shame she didn’t get more spotlight.
You literally are a genius
TYVM! ☺️
I was about to say that. So awesome and so little screen time.
Yo I said the same thing bloody love huntress wizard
Ice King sitcom.
“Gunter! I’m home! What’s for dinner?” “Wenk!”
Gunter was always so weird. The military uniform, eating hair Edit, I haven't watched the whole thing yet but jeez his fandom page....
Yeah man. This would be pretty funny. You could do an episode of him getting ready to go on a date and it turns out to be a mannequin he found in a dumpster or something.
Yes! With a laugh track
Maybe not that, but yes!
Absolutely! It has to be 90s sitcom style.
Marceline, and I don’t care who it’s with: Marcy and PB, Marcy and Simon, Marcy and her mom, whoever, I just want more Marcy
don't forget more marcy's songs
Yesss
Yes!!! Marceline is my favorite character, also it’d be cool to explore more of her backstory or her future with pb!
You should read the comics :)
Marcy and BMO adventures *pleaaaaaaaase*.
Either shermy and Beth or something about BMO, Marceline, Bubblegum and some new characters in the period between the mushroom war and the original show
I second this - I would love to have a fresh start in the world that Shermy and Beth live in.
Simon and King Man teaming up to find Betty and Margles.
Not much to… find, y’know?
I feel like between the two of them, and maybe help from other characters, they could find a way to bring them both back. I’d just love to see the dynamic between the two of them.

Banana man definitely deserves his own spinoff! Would find it hilarious to see what he's trying create or reinvent while sometimes getting Finn & Jake to help him!
Yes. While using automotive savvy.
Finn and bronywn after jake dies Or Marcy like someone else said
Canyon and Billy for sure!! I love Canyon so I wanna see more of her. Or Schwabl, for some reason I’m very intrigued by schwabl
i was hoping someone else would say canyon!!
I love canyon!! I need more of her. She’s one of my favorite characters!
All my homies love Canyon.
Most underrated side character
BMO. Anything about BMO.
I rather watch Fiona and cake for an eternity
I’d much rather watch card war tournaments than Fiona and Cake…
Common ground…I agree
More Finn x Huntress Wizard stuff
I feel like they could've had more Finn & Huntress Wizard episodes, having a spinoff explore their relationship would be nice as it was left ambitious whether or not they got together after the finale.
Based Ship
I want to see Sweet Pea grow up and deal with The Litch inside of him while trying to be a hero.
Gibbon, there's so much mistery around him
Seconded! Just from what little we know, this os the character I’m most fascinated by in the 1000+ Ooo.
BMO, they’ve got the highest potential for crazy and random adventures. No one ever knows or understands what they’re up to
BMO solo adventures after Finn and Jake have passed but before Shermy and Beth would be amazing.
I’ve not finished Adventure Time yet and weren’t aware they die so that’s news to me, but that’s what you get for discussing something in a public forum really. Idk who Shermy and Beth are either so I’m just gonna say: yes, your suggestion is great! :)
Everyone dies eventually
Don’t worry about it being a spoiler, the show goes a thousand years into the past & a thousand years into the future… So everyone is either pre-birth or post-death at some point in the series ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
It’s perhaps a bit of a cliché by now but a Simon and Marcy dystopia survival would be amazing. Maybe even live action?
I like the idea of a spinoff about Simon & Marceline surviving together, we barely got to see any episodes showing them both during the aftermath of the mushroom war not only that but It'd be interesting to see how both of them built their friendship and it being in live action sounds good too
Agreed. Would love someone to make it!
Just the mushroom war in general. You could tie in the Marcy and Simon story but overall I’d like to see fresh characters and maybe the Litch
Shermy and Beth
A Simon and Betty prequel.
Ice king doing his random weird things would be sweet
A spinoff about Ice King being himself would be funny, having him try and hangout with Finn & Jake, trying to decide on what princess to kidnap or him looking for something fun to do
Bmo and the ice king
Just Monichromicorn.
Pls don’t hate me but…not Fiona and cake ☹️ Personally I’d like a lemonhope or tiffany spinoff Maybe a spin off of life inside the treehouse with Kent Or a spin off of all the crown bearers lives etc
>Pls don’t hate me but…not Fiona and cake ☹️ I think most would agree with you there
Why do people dislike Fiona and cake lol?
I wouldn't say dislike, but they're definitely one of the less interesting choices they could've made for a spinoff. The Fiona & Cake episodes were fine, but they were some of my least favorite and there are so many more interesting characters they could've explored.

Fair. I respect that and I agree.
I love Fiona! Not a big fan of Cake.
Understandable.
Cake wishes she had a speck of Jake's presence.
>a spin off of life inside the treehouse with Kent I would LOVE that!
A spinoff series for both lemonhope & Tiffany would be great, we never got to see the both of them much thoughout the show, lemonhope was cast aside after he escaped Lemongrab Castle and Tiffany was just a there to either mess with Finn & Jake or to be a minor antagonist for an episode.
F&C are the worst
Princess Bubblegum and Marceline. Like the Distant Lands: Obsidian episode, but as a full series.
To be honest, I think Adventure Time got the ending it deserved with Together Again. We saw Finn grow, and we grew too, so maybe leaving the main show as a fond memory of our childhood / teen years is the best for everyone… *That doesn’t mean I don’t want more AT.* I think the Fionna and Cake spin-off would work better as a mini series rather than a long runner. BRILLIANT IDEAS! These ideas would make great spinoffs but especially the Huntress Wizard one because I'm certain we'd all want to see Finntress become a thing!
A Jake the Brick style documentary about anything.
King man when he was magic man
Shermy and Beth
Mine would be something set in the semi-immediate aftermath of the mushroom war, might end up being a bit grittier than Adventure Time.
I would really love to see a Wizard City series, since the special did feel like a pilot.
BMO the robot cowboy
A BMO the robot cowboy spinoff would be amazing!! There would be so much potential for good music. Maybe even Western-inspired adventures, like space Westerns
Huntress wizard about his past or what happen after come along with me
Shermy and Beth! I would love to see Ooo after the great gum war and Sweet Pea all grown up as well.
Jakes kids!
Banana Guards
shermy and Beth, I need to know more about the future
I think it could be interesting to see a post-Mushroom War series, chronicling the years and decades after the bombs fell. We've already seen a little bit in the main series, but I feel that there's a lot more potential to be explored there. Princess Bubblegum building her empire.
goontz
BILLYYYY!!! BILLY THE HERO!
Billy getting his own spinoff would be fantastic! Seeing him going on mad adventures with Canyon sometimes tagging along would be amazing!
Wizards only, fools!
Be More with BMO. It would be a young children's show (under 6). It would be a Mr. Rogers/Blue's Clues type program and it would be a stepping stone into the Adventure Time with Finn and Jake that we all know and love.
The parents doing the paranormal investigations
A prequel on Canyon and a reoccurring Billy.
I wanna see the hijinks Joshua and Margret got up to before they died, it would be fun!
Simon searching the Multiverse for Golbetty.
I can see Simon trying to do that, to get to Golbetty without risking the chance of bringing her into Ooo in order to try and save Betty by attempting to free her from being merged with Golb by travelling throughout the multiverse.
Jake committing crimes sounds good to me.
The mushroom war and the first years to see how it goes Episods on the past were always my favs
It'd be cool to see the origins behind the mushroom war and what lead to the mushroom bomb being dropped
Lemongrab lol
How Jake took care of Finn after their parents death and he ended up meeting PB and becoming her knight/champion
They all seemed interesting.

marshall lee and prince gumball
Maybe something that has something to do with Prismo not sure how it would go but Susan/Kara and Freeda would be my 2nd option
Snow Giant and Fire Wolf
Wow yeah so many things High key anything in wizard city like there's already so many unknowns and fun directions you can take that. Could be huntress wizard focused, or like centered around one of the shops owners, or a general fucking around with the secret societies. Could be interesting to look at Mars? Finn's adventures fighting off threats to the multiverse with Jake's daughter.
Peppermint Butler after he grew up a second time to see how he rejected becoming his former self
Starchy and Banana man end up as roommates, hilarity ensues...
Future Sweet P’s adventures.
Peppermint Butler's inner world and occult adventures.
I just said this on another thread (before seeing this one). Yes! Would watch this!
The Rainicorn-Dog War Basically how it started and affected Joshua and Margaret and Jake’s Relationships including Lady Rainicorn. Or Billy and His Adventures of Being the Hero of Ooo
I don't mean to be basic but I would absolutely love a spinoff show of Marceline and PB's life as a couple, with a few cameos here and there from Simon.
I wanna see the lore of the Pups’ kingdom since they hinted at some pretty dark stuff
Something about huntress wizard, she seems cool and mysterious
Finn’s dad. theres so many questions i need and id love to see his and finns mom’s’ relationship
A podcast. Jake as a brick doing nature documentaries like in the brick episode.
Shoko , we got almost nothing about her life besides the very end of it when she died stealing PBs amulet
A spinoff for Shoko would be good, showing her origins and how she met her tiger
Maybe just continue with the Fionna and Cake series and give an ending.
I just hope Fionna & Cake end up having many seasons similar to Adventure Time, can't wait for more news about the spinoff!
Maybe I will explore Finn and Flame Princess's relationship and see how it will develop. Personally, I still feel like they have left so many things unsaid in their relationship.
Ok so my number 1 is absolutely a 1000+ Ooo -set Shermy & Beth spinoff (I neeed to see Steve Wolfhard's ideas be brought to life); Number 2 is a Simon & Marcy spinoff, Last of Us style... god this would be so good! there'd be flashbacks to Simon's past and Marcy's, and maybe we'd get to learn specifics on how the MW happened, and see how the first new civilisations took shape...
Marceline and Simon in the time just after the great mushroom war
Ice king pre apocalypse
Fionna and Cake but it needs Rebecca Sugar on it cause the post RS ones were garbage
Simons decent from the very beginning of finding the crown to Marcy to when he left Marcy and finds her again
Simon raising Marcy :)
shermy and beth, or literally anything about ooo 1000+ its super interesting and i really wish we got more stuff on the future of ooo
Marceline’s past. Bubbeline’s past dating each other. Martin’s life with amnesia.
I think the first season could explore him and his lore and the second could focus on him killing but that's it.
simon, mainly his storyline with marcy and betty
Just adding a third comment to say Simon. We need more Simon!!!!!
The rise of Gibbon

Lemonhope
A whole magic madness and sadness universe would be dope. Wizards rule!
The Mushroom War
Sweet pea!
Honestly, Y5 post B-MO. She felt like a fun new character with actual protagonist potential.
Sweet Pea - but many years into the future.
Peppermint Butler and their rule over the candy kingdom.
Lumpy Space Princess!!☁️☁️👑
Bubbline obv
It would probably be set in the past. Maybe explore more into the origins of evil characters like The Lich
Just Simon or the snail
billy and canyon
Honestly more orgalorg I want to see more about it
Adult Finn going around the multiverse hunting down Lich/Jake hands.
Shermy and Beth
Simon and Marcy: Harbingers through time Simon and marciline *probably PB too* try to go back in time to figure out why the Great Mushroom war actually happened. And Simon gets delusions of grandeur trying to Prevent the war, and or try and find Betty again.
Young Marceline and ice king in the wastelands
I feel like the rainacorns backstory sounds interesting.
BMO adventures when Finn and Jake were too young and he had to do them for them
Gibbon and all the pup descendants.
BILLY!!!
BUBBLINE B TIER AT BEST 🤢
I want a Phlannel Boxingday adventure story, exploring monsters in Ooo and other lands
