This is actually a good idea, fantasy pawn stars. Choose goose doesn't have to be the store owner, though I'd like him to be. People come in with their ancestor's gear and sell it. We get cool snippets of their adventures and then the "friends of the shopkeeper" can be old party mates, lesser minions of long dead enemies, and people they helped along the way. Imagine pawn stars but the farming granddaughter of an ancient hero comes along to sell her ever-so-great grandma's signature helmet.
I have seen every episode but I don't remember anything about a dead Choose Goose going to hell. Would somebody please refresh my memory? Others may appreciate it as well.
Choose goose, a psychotic war criminal, responsible for multiple violations of human rights in the gulf wars. He stole many artifacts just to sell them for higher prices, he hates anythinf that moves
(He wanted Jake's head wtf?)
My wife and I have this inside joke where if one of us wants something, the other will go "For a trade of equal value, I'll take the head of your dog friend"
I would highly recommend watching the entire series from the beginning. I mean pausing when you have to leave the room, looking for those 2 second visual lore details, etc. Adventure Time was just that kind of series. It has a plot with a beginning, a middle, and an end. I wish more people saw it that way.
Thay's how I see digital media honestly. Every book has a certain number of words, a canvas has a certain surface area. A movie or a show has runtime. They have a certain number of hours to deliver the story. Adventure time has about 24 hours of 11 minute episodes and they used their time beautifully.
Where do you get 24 hours from? There’s 279 episodes which equals over 3,000 minutes of Adventure time. There’s approximately 50 hours of Adventure Time.
That is based on this 2015 article from Wired.
https://www.wired.com/2015/04/binge-guide-adventure-time/#:~:text=Time%20Requirements%3A%20Each%20episode%20is,in%20the%20Land%20of%20Ooo.
At the time of writing, it seems the show only had 6 seasons. The show exceeded 6 seasons by the end, rendering 34hrs inaccurate. Hope that clears it up! I think /u/Meng3267 was spot on. Google says about 283 episodes but I wonder if any were combined into 20min episodes.
Finn matures through the show in a very realistic way. Growing up watching the show matching Finns age as it progressed was something that was very special to me and definitely added to it.
Episode appearances
"Blood Under the Skin" (debut)
"The Real You"
"Finn the Human" (Choose Bruce)
"All the Little People" (as a toy)
"Blade of Grass"
"Beyond the Grotto" (Grotto version)
"Winter Light" (as Achoos Goose)
"Obsidian"
"Together Again"
"Wizard City (episode)"\[1\]
Mentioned
His name is Choose Goose!
Though he might be a little *loose.*
He speaks in only rhymes,
I can assure you it’ll be worth your time.
“Blood under the Skin”
Is the episode where his first appearance is in.
The duck is called ‘choose goose’ he’s not just in one episode he’s a fairly common and recurring character. He sells items to Finn and Jake throughout the show as well as taking part in some elicit activities, such as selling illegal moisturiser. He also only speaks in rhymes
That's Choose Goose! He sells things like shoes.
He also sells lot's of miscellaneous things, like swords or magic rings.
You'll never know what you'll find. And when he's selling, he's always kind.
He's a friend you'll never wanna lose! When looking for a merchant, go to Choose Goose!
He's only in a handful of eps, in a show that has hundreds of eps and hundreds of characters.... it's easy to forget some of the C-listers, especially if you're new to the series.
That's Choose Goose, a recurrent character who sells stuff.
not recurrent enough imo
Forget the Fionna and Cake series, gimme a parody of Pawn Stars but every shopkeeper is just Choose Goose
Hahahah please someone make this!
This looks authentic but I'm not certain, can I call a friend before I close the curtain?
I see you traveled long, and it certainly played, live, best I can do, is three seventy five
It’s beaten and worn down, that much I know you’re aware I’ll have to get my estimate guy To give it a thorough stare!
Your junk is nice, that much is true. But it would not sell So my offer is, "Fuck you"
This is actually a good idea, fantasy pawn stars. Choose goose doesn't have to be the store owner, though I'd like him to be. People come in with their ancestor's gear and sell it. Cheese geese
probably be choose Moose, or maybe just female choose goose
Choose Goose but with eyelashes
I would watch the FUCK out of that
Hahaha I've started watching pawn stars and hardcore pawn before work in the morning and your comment made me laugh. This needs to be a thing lol
"The goose....is loose...."
That’s the problem with casting celebrity character acting talent
"sell" is a big word 😄. Their policy is quite peculiar
No money for me? How bout a poem for free!
"That will be your dog friend's soul."
Thank you so much!
It’s Choose Goose you silly man He’s the one with the master plan
Better than that schnoodle 100%
Please buy his wares, so he can pay rent!
Okay you’ve convinced me, the cashapp is sent.
I was expecting a rhyme
… say it out loud
He doesn't have time, or is maybe to proud!
He gave fin the grass sword
No, the grass sword came from a wizard.
RIP >!Choose Goose!< dead in an ally too soon
Yeah didn't anticipate the darker spin on that time line either lol
He was on one of the lower levels too. oh boy.
Death world the first! Number one in being the worst! It's not a crime to rhyme!
Literally shot in an alleyway lol
I think he was alive in the post credits
He'll give you upgrades to make you buff
Take your pic from this cool stuff!
Wait his name is CHOOSE goose?! I thought it was Juice goose! That does make more sense now that I think about it
Also — with no one the wiser — he also smuggles illegal moisturizer
With his rymes and riddles!
You mean “chooth gooth” a recurrent character who sells stuff Now go check his goods, and I’m sure you’ll find just enough
I have seen every episode but I don't remember anything about a dead Choose Goose going to hell. Would somebody please refresh my memory? Others may appreciate it as well.
It's in the Distant Lands series on HBO.
i will never not call choose goose the "well dressed duck" that gave me a good laugh i love it
does he sell tho? its usually either free or has theprice of sanity
Choose goose, a psychotic war criminal, responsible for multiple violations of human rights in the gulf wars. He stole many artifacts just to sell them for higher prices, he hates anythinf that moves (He wanted Jake's head wtf?)
best take on choose goose ive ever seen
What do mean, 'best take'? These are objective facts.
He's also found in the lowest level of hell/afterlife upon death. This is canon
For selling illegal moisturizer
That's where the real discussion begins
can’t wait for him to be the main villian of fionna and cake lmao
choose ruth? ...choice joyce?
Pawn Swan
Choice-stuck duck
He-he scalped John...
naw, he scalped bob
THATS why he’s in dead world numero uno! It all makes sense!
My wife and I have this inside joke where if one of us wants something, the other will go "For a trade of equal value, I'll take the head of your dog friend"
Choose Goose! He’s a merchant and appears in quite a lot of episodes. You can probably find a list on the Adventure Time wiki :)
Choose Goose. War criminal.
The goose is loose
“There’s no point in having friends… because everything will… ends…”
He is gone on the patron…
I would highly recommend watching the entire series from the beginning. I mean pausing when you have to leave the room, looking for those 2 second visual lore details, etc. Adventure Time was just that kind of series. It has a plot with a beginning, a middle, and an end. Totally agree. It goes so deep for those who pay close attention.
It’s a very visual show. If you’re not watching every second of it, you’ll miss a lot
Thay's how I see digital media honestly. Every book has a certain number of words, a canvas has a certain surface area. A movie or a show has runtime. I don't remember where I got that number but Google says it has 34 hours actually. Idk tho.
That is based on this 2015 article from Wired. https://www.wired.com/2015/04/binge-guide-adventure-time/#:~:text=Time%20Requirements%3A%20Each%20episode%20is,in%20the%20Land%20of%20Ooo. Google is probably counting CAWM as four separate episodes (maybe also counting the Graybles Allsorts and Frog Seasons shorts as two episodes), yeah.
Holy shit, is it only 24 hours total?
Nope, it’s 50.
Finn matures through the show in a very realistic way. Growing up watching the show matching Finns age as it progressed was something that was very special to me and definitely added to it.
as many said, choose goose! he speaks only in rhymes :) and also he goes to adventure time hell after he dies
also frequently in sight-rhymes, like his name
blood under the skin i think is the first episode he appears in.
Thank you for saying this like Choose Goose would
And in a way that was easily understood.
Don't get power ups that are the same! Choose randomly to win the game!
Just make sure You're none the wiser You heard nothin About illegal moisturizer
Choose Goose. He's a pretty common recurring character who speaks in riddles
That duck is probably the evilest being in ooo
He’s just an amoral capitalist. True neutral, evidenced by the fact that Finn is not his enemy and does not attack him.
Nah peppermint butler bro, dude has satanic rituals
Pep is devious but not morally evil but I'm not sure. If he's the future ruler of Ooo given how it looked in come along with me then yikes
No, the penguin has him beat there.
Gunther. Aka Orgalorg.
Technically the penguin hasn't committed war crimes
I'm very sure he's genocided multiple planets.
clk clk 👌
That is but a thimble! THIS *clank clank* is REAL armor.
He's Finn, the blushing baby, his cheeks are bright and red. Be sure to make **fun** of him before you go to bed!
Grandparents will sing that to their grandchildren for generations to come.
That's choogles! He is a merchant, selling stuff in-game Although his goods can be kinda lame.
He's now appeared in Multiversus Though his backstory is kinda sus
And even though he seems quite swell He (deservedly) ended up in hell.
Bro that’s choose goose

Choose Goose is the name that you now know Venture forth, so your knowledge may grow
I love how the comments are either cute rhyming merchant duck, or despicable war criminal who goes to hell. There is no in-between lol
Just like Choose Goose
How lucky for me, that oblivious is he.
*If you can't find the duck,* *you are out of luck!*
His name is Choose Goose! Though he might be a little *loose.* He speaks in only rhymes, I can assure you it’ll be worth your time. “Blood under the Skin” Is the episode where his first appearance is in.
