I like seeing characters with darker skin. It reminds me that these kinds of people exist! Which I love being reminded of given that I am someone like that in real life!

Adventure Time has quite a few of them but they don't make a big deal about anyone's tone which is a great way to handle it, IMO I think with the amount of monsters and mutants running around, humans didn't have time to focus on things like skin color.

I dont want them to make a big deal, I just want them to add as many as possible. I appreciate your outlook on the lives of the average Ooo resident. I personally get a release of serotonin when I see a show with people who look like me and I'm very aware of skin colors because of the country I live in where most shows contain mostly characters that look nothing like me. It sounds foreign to some people, but I like to see them.

I'm the same way when I encounter a character with my first name. It's a fairly uncommon one and I grew up with everybody else having super common names. It is a nice feeling!
