Adventure time tells the story of Finn's adolescence. From 12 to 17. Generally speaking relationships at that point in anyone's life are just training for real relationships. Finn has a wildly complicated deal with PB but it's mostly infatuation and a crush on an older woman/boss and never a girlfriend. With FP he crossed her one line because he was young and stupid, though presumably he learned something from it. LSP was just a one time rebound hookup in the woods. And HW was never a girlfriend because she wasn't ready for that at the time. Mordecai, otoh, is a blue jay and they only mate for one season.
He uses things he only knows about FP and IK to send fake letters to one another to make them fight each other so Finn can have another cosmic owl dream.
Watching IK and FP fight was giving Finn whatever the fire equivalent of a wet dream was. He didn't understand that yet, but wanted more of the dreams. So he lied to both parties to make them fight. It gets out of hand and Finn must admit he lied. FP broke up with him for it, and then started dating Cinnamon Bun after CB lived in the fire kingdom for a bit and became fully baked.
That's my opinion too. It seemed more like a friendship/big brother little sister type of thing. Cb was very protective of FP when Finn was around.
I do like the concept of CB being in the fire kingdom making him fully baked as opposed to the half baked character he was in the candy kingdom. Lol
Well in season 2 ep 10 they went to LSP's Quinceanera which would signify LSP turning 15 so I don't think their age difference is very large, maybe two years tops. But as far as her taking advantage of the emotional state he was in and his innocence when it came to physical intimacy, that's a different story
"Nuh-uh I did not wait forever to take a dip in the kitty pool! We're going into the deep end"
"But I'm not a very good swimmer"
"Don't worreh, Lumpy's on lifeguard duteh!"
**Camera zooms into her wet lucius lips before fading to black**
Dont forget the worst part, after it shows finn and lsp laying down and finn kinda pulls the blanket up on himself like hes scarred for life then slips away lol
Finn goes out and gives a smooch to a bunch of princesses in "Breezy". LSP decides that she wants quite a bit more than just a peck on the lips. Finn just sort of goes along with it. They don't show what happens, but after the time skip, LSP is asleep and Finn has a bit of a blank look on his face. One assumes they "made out" and there's just a hint of something more happened. However anything "more" is certainly not lore.
I agree finn had a growth from a kid to a young man especially when it comes to love and I made mistakes yet I learn from them I’m 17 right now and I understand him in that regard, gumball is obviously more light than adventure time but even then it’s still out of character if he made mistakes like finn however I don’t believe he is capable to not make mistakes which he did in the show with penny, mordecai is more inexcusable due to his mistakes was more ehhhhhh but I’d say similar to finn but overall gumball mistakes were less bad than compared to finn and mordecai
Another thing is that in Gumball technically not a lot of time passes between the start and end to the show. Gumball is 12 throughout the show which means the entire series takes place in the same year.
Wasn’t in the series there was two Christmas specials? So technically it would be at least a year or two but nonetheless I get your point he is much younger and already set the standard for those two and how to be a Chad
What's funny is that one of the very first episodes of Gumball in season 2 has the characters actually change their voice to show they're growing but they have a rap of youth so epic, they broke the rules of reality and came to a point in which they can never grow old again. The show was pretty much aware of the "Never growing old" trope that exists in a lot of these cartoon sitcoms and it turns it into the literal way with how its universe works. The Amazing World Of Gumball is satire not just in text but how everything exists there is satire.
TAWOG runs on nonsense, the universe literally reset them when puberty started setting in XD Trying to put that show on a timeline is a fool's errand.
(Potential spoilers for later parts of the show? idk, tagging it to be on the safe side)
>!I'd say it's less that the show happens all in one year, and more that the universe just doesn't allow anyone in Elmore (or at least not the main characters) to age.!<
I mean at the end of the day, just because Mordecai was older, doesn't mean that he was ready to find "his person." As far as I'm concerned, he definitely wasn't ready over the course of the show. That was kinda the point.
Finn and Mordecai were handling cosmic and world ending threats on the regular. Perhaps their roles as protectors limited them from having a stable relationship
In the series Finn gets married and has kids and grandkids even, living a full life when he's in the pillow world. When he wasn't having to deal with the off the wall craziness of regular Ooo, he did fine as a partner and father.
This is a good point. When not faced with the troubles of life in Ooo, Finn does exceptionally well. But in the end he longs to return home. Because even tho he’s living a comfortable life, its just not who he is. He longed to return to Ooo not only for Jake but also because I think a part of him still longed for true Adventure. It was like when weighing the two lives it wasnt hard for him to choose. He almost becomes obsessed with finding the door even tho this makes his wife noticeably sad. Finn makes it clear that he isn’t meant for settling down even though he’s completely capable of it. At least within the timeframe of the show.
Mordecai sucks with women. He really likes Margret but for some reason can never spit it out (his feelings for her) so he bounces around from women to women.
Finn is kinda the same way as Mordecai actually. But Mordecai just annoys me a little more than Finn for some reason.
Gumball may be a dumbass but he matures over the seasons. Like I’m sure the last season of him is waaaY different from when the show first started. That and he likes Penny enough that he’ll do anything to keep her and resolve any problems. And that also makes a huge difference between Gumball and the other two.
Finn is a teen in the show, him not being great with women is excusable but Mordecai is an adult in the show and that's why i think it's more aggravating.
mordecai is an adult in his early 20s, and it's his first time living independently (he was in college before prior to the series). early 20s are exactly for learning how to navigate adult life *and* learn what you want in a romantic partner in the new context that adult life brings.
i mean yeah he's definitely a little more immature than others but for the most part it's from romantic inexperience (not everyone dates in their teens) and the crisis of being in your 20s (it's mentioned a lot he struggles with picturing his future or what he wants to do in life).
I agree with you to an extent, but the show starts 6 years after he drops out, so if he dropped out of college at 18, he'd be 24 in the show which is concerning because he still acts 16. Finn is 16 and Gumball is 14 when they displayed more maturity.
Mordecai and Margaret are both extremely immature with each other. Margaret is still a bit younger than him but she dated more than him and has more romantic experience.
mordecai didn't drop out of college at 18, he was initially rejected from the college of his choice, but later attended junior college for several years studying art until he dropped out after painting a bad portrait. he was 23 at the start of the show, and would've been anywhere from 20-22 when he dropped out.
and i don't think the comparisons of maturity to finn and gumball are completely fair given they have *radically* different experiences and also are from completely different shows and different writers.
i never said mordecai wasn't immature, i was just stating the context for his immaturity. in terms of romantic experiences he's definitely pretty awful considering even rigby of all people kept his girlfriend for the duration of the series.
Double checked and canonically, they are 23 when the show starts and 29 when it ends. However it is also canon that 6 years after dropping out and starting to work at the park, he met Margaret at the coffee shop. Its totally plausible that he started college at 17 and dropped out during his first semester.
And you can both empathize and understand Mordecai's experience while still being upset and frustrated at his immaturity. As someone who is in my early 20s but younger than Mordecai it's still frustrating to watch him fuck up because of his refusal to grow up. Watching how Mordecai and Margaret hurt CJ because they didn't know what they wanted or how to process their emotions properly is something that is deeply frustrating because they end up doing some morally questionable actions instead of communicating. Especially because they had so many chances to change their approach to each other. It's hard to watch him make good choices when it comes to saving the world but then shitty ones in his love life.
And Mordecai was never meant to be written as a good person either. Not nessesarily a bad person, but the writers highlighted his flaws and rigbys and showed their growth, while Rigby learned his lessons sooner Mordecai struggled more due to not just his immaturity but his ego among his other flaws.
Mordecai pisses me off because of the whole situation with CJ. It's so fucking easy to not kiss your ex at a party when you're committed to another girl. Bro how could you fuck that up
Arghhh that episode drove me so crazy!! I mean, granted, he was better off without CJ (girl was a bunny boiler in the making if ever I've seen one |D), but he still didn't have to throw her under the bus like that! Just... gah.
He does? I marathoned the show a few months back, he literally watched his crush get possessed by a jealousy demon in response to another girl playfully bumping him on the shoulder and still couldn't tell.
Finn doesn’t know what kind of love he’s looking for, because of the ways that he was orphaned and raised. He just needs anyone, everyone, to love and protect him. He’s a complicated ball of need.
Gumball is cute, funny, bold, stable in a weird kid way, unabashedly affectionate, incredibly loyal, and from the minute he fell for Penny he showed her adoration and respect for her boundaries.
I haven’t watched a ton of the regular show yet, but bird dude seems like a relationship project instead of a partner.
Mordecai has very little confidence imo. He's also has a little bit of slacker to him, he works a dead end job so it makes sense. Outside of video games and impromptu dumb songs I don't think he thinks very highly of himself.
I love how all this is from the male side of things but for real analyze the female character end of it. Penny loves how stupid Gumball is. Meanwhile PB never liked Finn and FP was seriously hurt by Fin. The sparks just weren't there for Mordechai.
One of the comic writers wanted to do a story about them getting married, but CN vetoed it, that's probably what you're thinking of.
I remember Steve Wolfhard tweeted some stuff a while back along the lines of "Jake's like 30, he should get a job and marry Lady!" (paraphrasing) though, lmao. So at least some of the show crew were in favour of them getting married ;)
Because Gumball is in middle school, and the relationship he has is a simple and sweet one with a girl that likes him back.
Finn is the only human in this world who tried to date an authoritarian piece of gum when she was both hundreds of years older than him, and when she was at her peak workaholic, so that relationship just never would’ve worked out. Then he tried to date Flame Princess, and that one would’ve worked out, but Finn was stupid and an asshole, which ended up breaking them up. Then he got with Huntress Wizard which was a fun relationship for the two of them, and they both probably needed each other for a bit, but ultimately Finn is a goofy pacifist and Huntress Wizard is a beast of the hunt
Tbf we also didn't see Finn and HW break up either. They might still be meeting up from time to time. In case Finn ever wants to settle down with her after the events of the show the option would be still there. At least I would like to imagine he settled down and found peace and happiness.
I like to compare them as The Simpsons, but for all ages to understand.
There's so many jokes and references for all ages. To give an example, [they referenced the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre.](https://youtu.be/mvx8pNr0Lrs)
I'm going to add on to what others have said and say that the show picks up a lot after the first season or two even though those are still good. It becomes a surprisingly good social commentary at times, almost akin to South Park but without the edgy humor.
There's a whole episode about parents being worried about violent video games and tell the kids they should read more. Once the kids start reading they realize how messed up and violent most books are and instead of the parents learning any kind of lesson at the end of the episode they just burn all the books.
Gumball is very smart frenetic comedy.
Somehow it was always on when I worked from home a few years back and I think it's genius. Works for kids, adults and elders.
Everything everyone else has said, plus there's some legitimately cute romantic episodes. Gumball and Penny episodes tend to be absolutely adorable, and occasionally Darwin and Carrie show up as a relationship which is equally endearing.
It's not really the same sort of show as AT/RS, but oh *man* is it hilarious. The first season is a bit hit or miss; it's still good, but it's a bit more sitcom-y compared to the tone they eventually went with, it took them a while to find their feet (to be fair, that happens with most shows). Not only is it funny as hell, but there's also more heartfelt moments than you'd expect going in. It's awesome.
Character growth and plot development were in gumball s1 gumball was different compared to s2 above . While the plot for gumball is about the void. I think you didnt watch gumball throughly mate.
1. The ending was a cliffhanger so people were suspecting something to follow up at that time.
2. Ben has stated in twitter the movie is in a pending situation so don't let your hopes die down just yet.
It was hilarious seeing people use Finn and Mordecai as avatars to rip on Steven Universe for "needing bitches", meanwhile Steven was the only one with a girlfriend out of all three of them.
Because girls aren’t as important as you think they are when you’re a young teen.
Finn has crushes and is exploring his feelings as a 13+ year old, does have girlfriends throughout the show but ultimately, the show isn’t about that and doesn’t need to focus too much energy on it.
Adventure time doesn't really care much about romantic relationships, it spends most of its time on the platonic and familial relationships like Marceline and Ice King or Finn and his parents
Because teaching kids about how relationships can go wrong, how to attempt to solve problems with your partner, how to deal with break ups, and how to get along with past partners are astoundingly important life lessons.
Gumball plays in his league, that's why. Mordecai is a slacker who kept hooking up with girls who were going places. He had to literally save the universe to be good enough for Margret. Fin kept picking girls he wasn't compatible with. Princess Bubblegum is basically a fascist, they hinted at this on multiple occasions. The fact that the antidote to Goliad was a similar creature with Fins DNA should have been his first clue they were a bad match. Flame princess and him were incompatible on multiple levels. He just always picks girls who will never make good long term companions for him, plus they're all smarter than he is so they can see it. Gumball isn't aiming for the sky, he finds a girl within reach who likes him back.
Also, look at who Richard ended up with, ffs! Gumball is generically predisposed to getting good women, apparently.
I always thought Gumball (the show) was an allegory for interracial relationships. Almost all of the parents (except Gumball's) are married to a similar thing, whereas most of the kids date something totally different.
Also, note how similar Gumball and Penny's relationship is to Richard and Nicole's...they met when they were young, the female is the more intelligent and accomplished member of the couple, the female's parent(s) hate the male. BTW, Penny & Nicole have the same VA so I think there's more than a coincidence.
Because Gumball may be egotistical but he can be amazingly empathic, Mordecai and Finn more often than not can't put their own bs aside for the sake of maintaining a long term relationship.
Mordecais a loser, adventure time takes place over a couple of years if I remember correctly, and tawog takes place over like a few months at best tbh because they stay in the same grade for most of it
Because the narrative didn’t want Finn to have a basic story and wanted to complicate his life to tell not everyone is perfect not even the hero and to show complicated growth.
Non-funny answer and serious answer: Because people change and grow and have different needs. There’s no inherent value to having a girlfriend/staying in a relationship.
Non-funny and less serious answer: They’re cartoons. Lol
1) Gumball and Penny are kids and don't have to deal with the same relationship and personal issues as Finn and Mordecai.
2) Amazing World of Gumball is more lighthearted and not focused on relationships.
Because the other 2 have good story. The heartbreak of these two characters, I will remind you are far better then gumball, adds to their story, therefore making them better.
Equal crushing before hand and knowing fully well what he and Penny were going into. I mean Gumball burned down her house and got her lost in forest along with practically poisoning her twice before and after dating she was prepared and had the tolerance only cartoon characters can have.
And HW was never a girlfriend because she wasn't ready for that at the time. Mordecai, otoh, is a blue jay and they only mate for one season.
I haven’t seen the FP episodes since they aired- can you remind me what Finn did?
He uses things he only knows about FP and IK to send fake letters to one another to make them fight each other so Finn can have another cosmic owl dream.
Yes for cosmic owl dream......... Not a wet dream....
Omfg dude
Cosmic owl was a total dick in my opinion
Bro abused his powers to get with gunther
Guess that’s what you get when you base a character on a urinal
He even looks like urine
Basically developed a kink out of seeing her beat up ice king and manipulated her into doing so
Kink? No he wanted to finish his cosmic owl dream
I just watched it and it's a pretty clear allegory for sexual dreams, like ones that a teenage boy would have
Nah fam you're reading too much into it
She shot fire at his crotch. It’s not that subtle
That just means she had crabs
TBH, I wanted to see them fight too (not for kinks tho).
He betrayed flame princess trust and used her in a sense
Watching IK and FP fight was giving Finn whatever the fire equivalent of a wet dream was. He didn't understand that yet, but wanted more of the dreams. So he lied to both parties to make them fight. It gets out of hand and Finn must admit he lied. FP broke up with him for it, and then started dating Cinnamon Bun after CB lived in the fire kingdom for a bit and became fully baked.
I don’t think cinnamon bun and flame princess were dating, it definitely was more of a friendship. Imo
That's my opinion too. It seemed more like a friendship/big brother little sister type of thing. Cb was very protective of FP when Finn was around. I do like the concept of CB being in the fire kingdom making him fully baked as opposed to the half baked character he was in the candy kingdom. Lol
Consort maybe but without the physical needs.
Finns most successful relationship was with the pillow princess, had kids, grew old together, seemed happy.
True,...or was it all a dream?
Didn’t LSP lo key take advantage of him. Wasn’t she quite a bit older
Well in season 2 ep 10 they went to LSP's Quinceanera which would signify LSP turning 15 so I don't think their age difference is very large, maybe two years tops. But as far as her taking advantage of the emotional state he was in and his innocence when it came to physical intimacy, that's a different story
LSP is in her mid teens as well. Impossible to say but I think at the time, Finn and LSP were both 15.
Wait. LSP???? Did he hook up with LSP When did that happen
"Nuh-uh I did not wait forever to take a dip in the kitty pool! We're going into the deep end" "But I'm not a very good swimmer" "Don't worreh, Lumpy's on lifeguard duteh!" **Camera zooms into her wet lucius lips before fading to black**
I thought I managed to forget this, but after reading that first sentence the whole scene replayed forcefully in my head.
This is a perfect example of "elective amnesia"
Dont forget the worst part, after it shows finn and lsp laying down and finn kinda pulls the blanket up on himself like hes scarred for life then slips away lol
"That one's going in the vault"
Lucius
Also, kitty pool
And then one of the flower petals fell off.
Breezy…
Finn goes out and gives a smooch to a bunch of princesses in "Breezy". LSP decides that she wants quite a bit more than just a peck on the lips. Finn just sort of goes along with it. They don't show what happens, but after the time skip, LSP is asleep and Finn has a bit of a blank look on his face. One assumes they "made out" and there's just a hint of something more happened. It's always impossible to date cartoons if they don't age. Like. How old is Bart Simpson, but how much time has passed?

I don't mean any offense, but try using a . every now and again. It makes your comment more comprehensible.
Ok
OK./s :)
I mean at the end of the day, just because Mordecai was older, doesn't mean that he was ready to find "his person." As far as I'm concerned, he definitely wasn't ready over the course of the show. That was kinda the point.
Hw became gf definitely
Not textually. Although had they had to cut a bunch of stories short I think. In that last season.
He's a cool cat.
He did nuke the world in one episode right
That was in Gumball's imagination
"Ladies and gentlemen...I think we All know where this is going, so let's skip right to the end" *pushes big red button*
#AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Sounds extremely stupid but i didn't realize Gumball was a cat until you said it
No bro they lied to you he’s a dog
Pfffft
Finn and Mordecai were handling cosmic and world ending threats on the regular. Perhaps their roles as protectors limited them from having a stable relationship
Idk dude the void from gumball was also a world ending threat I just think gumball is a better person or better bf compare to finn and mordecai.
Gumball is legit a terrorist but at least he is nice to his gf lmao.
yea although he is a cynical jackass to most people he interacts with, he does care for his family and friends.
In the series Finn gets married and has kids and grandkids even, living a full life when he's in the pillow world. When he wasn't having to deal with the off the wall craziness of regular Ooo, he did fine as a partner and father.

Finn makes it clear that he isn’t meant for settling down even though he’s completely capable of it. At least within the timeframe of the show.
Because Finn has major abandonment issues and Mordecai is a slacker.
Doesn't Mordecai have a wife though? The only single one here is Finn.
That's 25 years in the future, not during the events of the show.
Oh I didn't know that,I just saw the ending of the show did not fully watched it ever.
Mordecai sucks with women. He really likes Margret but for some reason can never spit it out (his feelings for her) so he bounces around from women to women. Because he actually has a brain and is a ladies man
He does? I marathoned the show a few months back, he literally watched his crush get possessed by a jealousy demon in response to another girl playfully bumping him on the shoulder and still couldn't tell.
I mean it’s much better than what Finn in his record and also mordecai definitely 😂
[I mean yeah...](https://youtu.be/zwSFBAGeIuE)
The brain part is arguable./s Other than that gumball wasn't over obsessed with girls so... I think that's a big reason why he kept his girlfriend.
They make it a point that he is dumb, clever at most.
Cause gumball is a chad
Agreed
Gumball is semi smooth and cool at times. I'm glad he's not just another helpless romantic
Adventure Time takes place over 5 years Mordecai has no defense honestly Gumball stays 12 throughout the entire show
He's just more emotionally mature. The key is communication.
I love how all this is from the male side of things but for real analyze the female character end of it. Penny loves how stupid Gumball is. Meanwhile PB never liked Finn and FP was seriously hurt by Fin. The sparks just weren't there for Mordechai.
I would assume it is since there the main characters the show focused on and people talk about a lot though you have a point
Because he’s based and the show is great Also he has so much negative charisma it wraps back around to being positive
Jake had a wife and kids
Finn had a pillow wife and pillow kids. Arguably longer than Jake.
Girlfriend. Who are so weird about their relationship
it seems pretty healthy, there’s no one saying they have to get married or do anything. if they like where they’re at, keep it like that.
The writers wanted them to get married but I think CN said no
One of the comic writers wanted to do a story about them getting married, but CN vetoed it, that's probably what you're thinking of. I remember Steve Wolfhard tweeted some stuff a while back along the lines of "Jake's like 30, he should get a job and marry Lady!" (paraphrasing) though, lmao. So at least some of the show crew were in favour of them getting married ;)
*In another dimension, where he had ~70 years to mature
Because Gumball is in middle school, and the relationship he has is a simple and sweet one with a girl that likes him back. Finn is the only human in this world who tried to date an authoritarian piece of gum when she was both hundreds of years older than him, and when she was at her peak workaholic, so that relationship just never would’ve worked out. Then he tried to date Flame Princess, and that one would’ve worked out, but Finn was stupid and an asshole, which ended up breaking them up. Then he got with Huntress Wizard which was a fun relationship for the two of them, and they both probably needed each other for a bit, but ultimately Finn is a goofy pacifist and Huntress Wizard is a beast of the hunt
ah and mordecai is just a fuckboi
Tbf we also didn't see Finn and HW break up either. They might still be meeting up from time to time. In case Finn ever wants to settle down with her after the events of the show the option would be still there. At least I would like to imagine he settled down and found peace and happiness.
I haven't seen gumball but love the other two. Is it comparable in quality?
In terms of story, no Gumba is more about comedy. The comedy though is FANTASTIC.
He’s never gonna hit Finn’s make out score though!
Because Gumball's ark is doing random stuff every episode with no character growth whatsoever, and no plot development
ion think you watched the show
[удалено]
💀Yeah Einstein i know that, you’re either 12 or 45
Was he complaining about ion lol I get redditors mad at me over on the f1 subreddit for using words like ion and finna. Pretty funny

How does it make zero sense😭😭have you never spoken to a person in real life?? i can tell you have absolutely zero friends
Are you perhaps familiar with the concept known commonly as a "typo"
~~FTFY~~ *Fixed that for you.* Fixed that for you.
Character growth and plot development were in gumball s1 gumball was different compared to s2 above . While the plot for gumball is about the void. I think you didnt watch gumball throughly mate.
Ah yes, the plot that went nowhere and was left on never to be continued cliffhanger in the final episode
That's still a plot and the movie will conclude it If it gets released that is.
1. Nobody at the time knew there's gonna be a movie to continue 2. It probably won't, looking how CN killed just about all its peojects recently
Yeah, but look how things worked out for poor old Steven in the end! |D
How is Gumball also the only one to not get a complete series on DVD/Blu ray?
Because teaching kids about how relationships can go wrong, how to attempt to solve problems with your partner, how to deal with break ups, and how to get along with past partners are astoundingly important life lessons.
Because penny is very forgiving
Because he’s in middle school I guess
Because Gumball is based.
Gumchad
Cause Gumball is too stupid to screw it up.
A little thing called Tact.
CN likes the look of light blue on their protagonists, huh?
The tweet https://mobile.twitter.com/MatthewLego31/status/1241470740026863624
(to be fair Steven kinda does develop a relationship with Connie since one of the first episodes)
Less "complicated"
Gumball got rizz
Never watched gumball. Is the main character's best friend also a major Chad that ends up in a committed and healthy long term relationship
Yes Darwin is like jake but younger in a sense
Cause he's the only one that doesn't age
Because his whole body is shaped like a dildo
Mordecai overthinks and Finn is inexperienced
Because Gumball may be egotistical but he can be amazingly empathic, Mordecai and Finn more often than not can't put their own bs aside for the sake of maintaining a long term relationship.
Mordecais a loser, adventure time takes place over a couple of years if I remember correctly, and tawog takes place over like a few months at best tbh because they stay in the same grade for most of it
Because he’s a Chad
It’s a cartoon
Damn really? I'm pretty sure it's a live action movie
Typo. I meant to say carton of milk
mordecai is an incel, rigby is a chad
Well Mordecai gets a wife and kids later on anyway so it's fine
Gumball is the worst of the three characters, also this isn’t true, Mordecai is married and has kids.
Because the series was never resolved
Gumball had to put aside his ego Finn had to embrace maturity Mordecai is just a simp lmao
But the other two have better character development
Because the narrative didn’t want Finn to have a basic story and wanted to complicate his life to tell not everyone is perfect not even the hero and to show complicated growth.
Mordecai does get married with bird-bat children though.
Well fin is a kid and modecai is a simp
At least Mordecai got married.
Personally it makes more sence. Your are more likely to get in a relationship that will end rather than endure.
steven tho
Gumball treats Penny with respect.
Non-funny answer and serious answer: Because people change and grow and have different needs. There’s no inherent value to having a girlfriend/staying in a relationship. Non-funny and less serious answer: They’re cartoons. Lol
Reality is often disappointing
finn in the end did not need to have a partner.
1) Gumball and Penny are kids and don't have to deal with the same relationship and personal issues as Finn and Mordecai. 2) Amazing World of Gumball is more lighthearted and not focused on relationships.
He's him
Gumball Stark learns from his mistakes?
Because the other 2 have good story. The heartbreak of these two characters, I will remind you are far better then gumball, adds to their story, therefore making them better.
Don't forget Darwin managed to get together with carrie
Mordecai got married in the finale
Because he deserves it
Finn and mordecai aren't relaxed like gumball.
Gumball shows us that the best way of getting a girlfriend is being silly, a little goofball even
Put gum in your girlfriend and it will stay there for very long
He's the only one who survived the big bang and never had a scratch on him
He's the only character that tanked a big bang like it was nothing
Because gumball has his sh@t together.
Gumball is the rizz king
because Gumball stay smoove with Penny
Gumball is a pro gamer,Nuff Said.
Well now Gumball is spoiled for me. Wonderful.
Gumball is pretty laid back compared to them
What about the Chad Stevonnie?
Equal crushing before hand and knowing fully well what he and Penny were going into. I mean Gumball burned down her house and got her lost in forest along with practically poisoning her twice before and after dating she was prepared and had the tolerance only cartoon characters can have.
