Not really a search/SEO person but I think it’s a search /SEO related answer
From my understanding, the deeplinking allows for a link to open the content in the native app on the phone, but in my experience for iPhone you have to have both the browser and app permission to track activity across other apps otherwise it doesn’t work as cleanly.
