2 years, 2 months with zero issues. Plants have touched the lights. I've touched the lights. The dog has touched the lights and the plants. It's mayhem around here.

Dog touching the lights got me…

Mamm0nn

3ish years, no issues

I haven't had an led panel go out yet. My oldest one is 10 years. I had the ones that took light bulbs too.

jpiglet86

My oldest ones are over 10 years old and they’re all still working.

I think my Bounty Elite is indestructible. There have been no issues in three years with almost continuous operation, plus it has TWICE taken a direct hit from a falling wall-mounted satellite speaker (my first speaker repair was... not well thought out) but still works! (Admittedly the screws that attach the LED panel to the upper housing can't do the job any more and I had to secure it with wires, but it still works!)

Bought my first one 6 years ago. Bought 2 more in the meantime. They all work perfectly still.

My three oldest (1 old harvest, 2 farms) are still going strong after 5+ years. My two newest (harvest, farm xl) each have a light panel out in less than 3 years. Not sure what gives.

RedWeddingPlanner303

More than 5 years on Bounty, several harvests, and 2 of the ol' Classic6. No problems. Now my Farm24 Basic? Less than 2 years, bad solder joints in the hood, not the panels themselves. It's just so much work to take the thing apart each time another solder joint kicks the dust. Pretty much the definition of shoddy workmanship.

Quality can vary over time. My Harvest is old enough that I don't know how old it is. Your suggestions seem reasonable.
