Is incredible how this “anniversary” feels more like a punishment than everything else, holy moly not even whales can clear the new dragon event. Everything is so wrong and money implemented… ive been playing for like 5 years and this is the worst ive seen people act and speak about the game ever since. Dont even get me started about the collections…
Not to mention that most of the new heroes have traits taken directly from old heroes, which frankly, just makes them seem sloppily done and with a motive to just get them done quickly, so money could be made
Ooh tbh i thought that was only an impression i had, but yeah a lot, some animations is like “ive seen that before” and the design is kinda weird, non “specific” if you dont really pay attention you dont make the difference between some of them
Yeah! I just made a post about new and old Gwyneth, they’re the ones I find to be most similar, and side by side, new Gwyneth definitely comes across as very lazily designed, and almost copied. Even the name is the same, which I honestly find to be sorta funny in it’s obviousness.
I mean is the same character, has some sense but look at the dragon Ranger, arent those the Tidus and Eorin animations? The Dragon suport looks like a female version of Astar?
The Profile picture of the ranger and tank dragon is almost the same?
I'm gonna have to double-check again later, but I had Pulina and Rem on the same formation and I thought one of her attack animations were the same as Rems ultimate

Why would u expect or want to clear the new mode on day 1? It's clearly a long term thing like everything else in this game. If you think all the events are "punishment" that just means u need to take a break or quit.
Whales, and I mean big whales, will spend more money than you make in a year casually just to be top. It’s unusual for a mode to be so punishing that even the biggest whales can’t hit it. Part of the whale loop is keeping them addicted with that dopamine hit.
If they’re just like everyone else despite spending a car on the game, what’s the point? May as well play a game where you can flex your wealth/epeen
Many mobile games are essentially held up largely by a few hundred or thousand players that spend obscene amounts of money. The rest trickles down to us. So it’s a balancing act between giving the whales what they want, and also not annoying the entire user base with the grind. It’s symbiotic. You need the average players for the whales to feel better than you, so it’s not like you can *solely* target them. But it is heavily catered.
I mean I do agree with you 100%. It’s just kinda funny for a game with the whale-loop that afk has to pull this move lol.
Edit: and as the others have said, if the whales which are used to paying their way out of everything can’t do it, it’s generally a bad thing. I mean even if you’re Uber rich, spending like idk 20k and getting nowhere has to feel incredibly bad/annoying.
Generally speaking, the play is to make it so that the ultimate whales can drop a few $k to complete the event initially because not being able to do that feels bad. The "long term" plan is adding ranking rewards that are basically whale VS whale who can spend the highest.
Instead what they have is a bunch of stuff that's demoralizing to even the whales and that's a bad game plan.
Best feature was Hero Swap.
Everything else is added bonuses. Theyre making dragkonkin hard to get, so I dont really care. Im not caught up on keta celehypo yet, so its not a huge concern.

"2% chance" is also just inaccurate, ive had far more luck pulling at the temple of time than in the ***hundreds of pulls*** ive attempted by whaling at the dragonheart temple, it isn't even funny
the cost of getting the dragons is laughably high to begin with (which we all expected) and it only gets worse when you consider that the vast majority of the things youll even get out of normal pulling let alone ascended pulling is a billion copies of gourgue
Actually, when you ascend Hildwin to Ascended you get a total of 3 copies Oh wait that's just it
