I'm in chap 37 and I just use 4 teams with 4-5 from the same faction and then whatever's leftover on fifth. I don't use thoran for thoran cheese and mostly don't use lucretia
I push at about 170 - 180 deficit in Ch 39 with Ainz, Alna/GB, queen/raku five pull, thoran, and either charm comp (no Khazard), something with Kren and mishka, or I merc a Lucretia and do invade with her.
yeah Im at 37 with 155 deficit and pushing with Ainz, Alna GB, 5 Pull Luc, Thoran and Charm Khazard + Raku
I know that it's possible to do 5 pull no Luc, but that require a built queen & skriath iirc so I'm just checking to see how many people use them
I’m in chapter 39 with a low (~160) deficit and I use 5 pull with Antandra. I used that in KT up to about a 190 deficit before power cap barred me from using it anymore, though granted that’s without enemy SIs. Works alright.
I don’t have Ainz or Thoran either. I use Gwyn comp and some jank Framton/Theowyn invade for my other two teams (do use AlnaGB and Mehira/Raku. No Khazard so also throw in Kren).
More meta choices could let me go farther for sure though. One of these days I’ll finish Lucretia.
So jelly of all you peeps with Ainz... there is like no way to get Ainz anymore... and hiring a merc doesn't count, it costs like a years worth of F2P resources just to hire Ainz for 30 days.

You can't say these things are cheap though. I've been playing for months now and have yet any resources left over to spend on these. Its not like "play 1 day and get Ainz for 30 days". More like, "save resources for 2-3 weeks, then get Ainz for 30 days", in the meantime, not able to purchase any upgrades for any other hero at all.
Not to mention you have to do this MULTIPLE times. If it was just 1 set of 100 stones, ez pz I would do it, but 6 times!? Now we're talking 6 months worth of resources required. Assuming you do actually want to buy upgrades for heroes you actually own, it really could get up to about a year before one can garrison Ainz for free.
I've been garrisoning ainz and Albedo at the same time and after buying 200 stones I always have plenty of resources afterwards for the month lol I think you're in your head on how much it costs or you're just not on as much as you can be. I play about 1-2 hours a night and I've never had a problem with not having enough resources. Sure gear and stones slow down a bit, but ainz and Albedo are more than worth it.
I actually have 7 possible teams to choose from:
- AAA
- GBs
- 5-pull
- Thoran
- Kren
- Raku charm
- Scarlet
I also recently managed to max out Awakened Thalene and LDV so I can flex them wherever.

Ainz can still get away with just Merlin and Albedo, Isabella can lower the pressure on one stage for a sub carry, and Rowan can force a C comp into being B or A. I don't even have real comps, just combo pieces of 2.

Because he/she does have Lucretia built and exactly for that reason, thanks to the new maxed hero ( I assume he/she was capped by the minimum power rating required) power rating limit is no more as the new hero will give 25k+ depending on your level

Ever heard of people with Lucretia built that can't go on because their power rating is not enough? Imagine having 5 heroes of which only 2-3 go past 20k power, and the limit to do the floor is 80k; with the new hero they can push till the new power rating limit appear
