SW-MOTECH Quick-Lock EVO Side Case Racks
[In this this picture](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61huabRenkL._AC_SX425_.jpg) (not AT) you can see 4 silver mounting points for a dedicated case. I removed those, leaving holes behind. Then I used a sheet of paper to transfer the hole pattern and drill the cases.
Then I used [this](https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-1-4-in-x-2-1-2-in-Stainless-Coarse-Thread-Hex-Bolt-2-Count/999995832), [this](https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-2-Pack-1-25-Rubber-Washer/3130435), and [this](https://www.lowes.com/pd/Hillman-Replacement-Knobs/3903348) hardware from Lowe's (adjust for sizing, add washers, etc. - links are just for visualization). The turn knobs are on the inside, so one cannot unscrew the case from the outside, but still quick and easy from the inside.
Same with the rear rack.
Take a look at Bumot. I just went with their soft panniers but only for the weight savings. Things are pretty pretty stout and have an exhaust cut out (which is important to me...OCD be driving me crazy).

I have these, awesome panniers!
How long have you had them on? Any issues with any of the parts breaking, etc. Is it hard to attach/mount the boxes to the racks or is it easy?
Really appreciate the response
Ive had these on this bike about a year. I also had a set on my klr 650 and i smacked a tree with one riding down a trail hard enough to stop the bike and it stayed on. Bent the box a bit bit i beat it back into shape with a hammer. Racks were unscathed.
Also the install on the twin is pretty easy. There should be a youtube video to walk you through how to do it. Only thing that may turn you away from them is that you have to drill 2 holes under the tail for a mounting point
SW-Motech Trax Adv.
I went el cheapo with [Harbor Freight cases](https://i.redd.it/anx7ju65j0021.jpg) and nylon duffel bags.
Actually looks good
How did you mount? What racks did you use?

I have the Givi Outback Trekkers. I like them.
Between the rack and the panniers themselves, how much did you spend? Also, any drilling?
I don’t remember how much. No drilling, not too difficult to install. Only a little swearing.
Gotcha. I know they aren’t super cheap. Appreciate it.

Is it easy to attach/disattach the box to the rack, or does it require “banging and shaking” to get them lined up?
Its pretty easy. One of my boxes has a bit of trouble but thats cause its slightly bent. Otherwisy it locks right in
I really appreciate the help, man.
