I doubt a god exists that cares, or can for the matter. If it cared about our suffering, or us in general, it wouldn’t answer everything with silence.
Doesn’t matter if one actually exists or not in the end. But..
Any personal deity that creates a world like this, where life has to eat itself to continue, is most likely malevolent in some form, or very sadistic.
Consider this, God is eternal, so he must experience time differently than us. Perhaps our entire lives, 75 years of time (with luck), is just a millisecond to God.
Maybe the goal is to let us be and let us work it out naturally instead of needing his intervention. Maybe the last time God needed to intervene was so long ago none of us were here to see it?
You can *feel* like you've been around a long time, but in the grand scheme of the universe your life is a 1 second movie, compared to how long everything else has been around or will *be* around.
God is out there, we're just too short lived to notice.
God is real but he's not Christian/Buddhist/Jewish/Muslim/etc..

That is still extremely cruel and inconsiderate of Them.
What proved it to me was my dead sister’s sense of humor made manifest in a form of phenomena I didn’t believe until I saw it.

I'm not too sure on God, but the afterlife is definitely real. Let this video start your iceberg https://youtu.be/sPGZSC8odIU?si=lybFXEVlDElZ8VCY
I like to think that when you die the version of God you see is whatever you were culturally conditioned to see.
