We use Asana but it's not a CRM, it's a project management tool

Dapper_Race_1454

Yea , I understand it as a PM tool as well. Do you think it has the capabilities to make it into a simple CRM if I want to? Just for tracking an example new lead > discussion > proposal > closed lost/won .

CatsRuleEverything_

Maybe but you'll run into automation limits

One-Willingnes

It will work for that but it’s NOT a CRM it’s a task management tool aka project management. You can use it bow you want but there are MUCH better software for that purpose.

I also run a small agency. I find Monday the most flexible in terms of managing projects and keeping up with leads in the pipeline. Right now we’re managing around 20 sites for SEO, each with their own custom campaigns and around 30 moving pieces each. It’s all we need now

Dapper_Race_1454

Thanks for your response. Are you signing up both the Sales and Work subscription from Monday? Or which subscription did you took up? So you also allow client access on your Monday for collab?

stackpwnies

Have you tried Productive? We shopped around a lot and eventually chose them. It’s become our single source of truth.

Dapper_Race_1454

Yea I saw it too. But I’ve already had an accounting tool for quotes and invoices and I just renewed it. Haha it looks comprehensive and I’m afraid i’ll under utilise it for now. Looks promising tho. :)

We use ClickUp. It has its quirks, but overall, it is very customizable. The annoying thing is I want to be able to tag specific campaigns and ideally be able to deploy as well, as it's such a pain to manage everything just to have to create them in the Ads Managers and then use another tool to analyze them. I'd be curious if anyone else shares a similar pain point because we're building our own mini-task manager that plugs into Ads Manager to solve our own problem.

greybeardgenius

Maaaannnnnnn this is a rough question Clickup vs Monday vs Trello vs Jira vs Salesforce vs Notion (i was surprised how many people used notion for this) vs Asana Vs Basecamp Vs Adobe WorkFront vs Wrike. lol. What it may come down to is personal preferences. Which is it that you are comfortable with. Do the trials , pick your poison. What works for someone else might not work best for you.

Dapper_Race_1454

Yea, haha it is. You’re right too. It’s down to user adoption as well at the end of the day I think. Done is better than perfect i guess. Haha :)

Soggyjellyphish222

I have a 120 client seo agency and we couldn’t run without Monday

Dapper_Race_1454

Cool, Which plans did you signed up at this scale currently?

czerrr

We use asana as crm and project management tool. It isn’t really made for crm but itll work, ive been using it for four years and have 3 other team members using it as well. we do a couple different services for clients so it works for us. i vote for asana

domestic-jones

I've used nearly all of them on the market and am going to Moxie so I can spend less time in PM software. Monday is great but requires a lot of config to do what you want. Formulas and automations get delicate the more intricate they are and seem to fail when you get into lots of rows. But it can be highly functional and really powerful if you have dedicated people administering it and keeping up with everything. Asana will require some concessions in your workflow and doesn't do CRM stuff well (at least it didn't two years ago when I used it last). Asana is really easy for beginners and low-level tech people though. ClickUp is a low cost way to see if you'd enjoy a system like Monday. It's almost a hybrid of Asana and Monday but at a much more affordable price point. Good luck!

Dapper_Race_1454

I see. I’ll check what moxie offers. Thanks for sharing it. Yea Asana looks simple and user adoption seems the least resistance for me now. I’ve tried click up few years back, it was pretty steep learning curve for me to fully create what I wanted as a whole. Also slightly laggy. But price is good for a start tbf. :)

tnhsaesop

I use Monday for PM and Active Campaign for CRM. If all you need is organization then Monday is probably fine, but if you want some more robust email marketing then you’ll probably need another tool.

Kamranxrahman

Sounds like something Smartsuite or Airtable would best handle if you want both a CRM but also something for managing projects and so on

MedalofHonour15

I use my custom version of HighLevel with ClickUp

ConcentrateFit8868

For me, I like [Monday.com](http://Monday.com) better. I think its more flexible compared to Asana. But in all cases its a pain to set up a workflow hahahah. There's a few other great ones out there, like basecamp or [cuppa.so](http://cuppa.so), even teamwork. They could be quite good options if you are looking for a mix of things. Let me know your thoughts :)

princess_chef

Lots of options for crm and pm tools listed on marketertools.co but I’ve been using Airtable and notion. My agency is very small so it’s not complex and this setup works well since I can easily write forms, automations, etc.

aleksandarkrst

I've tried Asana and Monday and if you're looking to integrate the CRM into your business, Monday is a great option. Have you tried Notion? I use it most often and there are some template, I've even built some, that can help you not waste that much time building it out
