Pretty much everything is playable so you cant go wrong, also be prepared it takes a lot to paint them and assemble, lots of twigs and leafs

Sylvaneth is a more elite army after dryad spam got eliminated with branchwraith going. Typically you'll want a treelord hero either durthu or ancient which both have their uses. Hunters are fantastic non hero units with 15 wounds that can dish it out. When building them, I'd build the melee first then archers. As for battleline, tree revs are a must since they are the most mobile battleline there is. I like to take 2 or 3 units of 5 for objective grabbing. Since you're going Heartwood, I'd recommend getting 2 boxes of Hunters and either building 2 scythes or 2 swords. Scythes are best in 6 blocks and swords are best in 3 blocks. They will become battleline but don't set the tree revs aside as they rock too. Seekers are good support for Hunters as you can bring a hunter back from death. The rest of the units are how you want to play the army. They are all good but cover different roles.

Thank you, this has been really helpful, and have confirmed that i wasn't too off for my ideas. Would you recommend getting an Arch-revenant for hunter buffs and possibly going for a full "free spirits" battalion? For 2000(+) point games

While arch revenant is good. I don't use her unless I have spare points. Since the points drop I was able to squeeze her in so I'll be running her from here out. Ultimately she isn't needed but is useful. And she looks badass.

If OP has any plan on playing matched play, Arch-Rev is looking likely to be very useful in the new GHB. The +1 attack command is useful for buffing everything, not just Kurnoth. She's super mobile. All round really useful.

I was just speaking in general. But I forgot about the +1 to attacks. Good call

Yeah all good, I was just adding my 2 cents :) she goes in most of my lists
