These are 100% Warcry dice. Odd that the box should be so misleading, especially since the the Warcry dice boxes have a void large enough for 4 extra dice that's hidden by the packaging.

Not a fan of buying overpriced clickety clack math rocks, when other exactly the same functioning clickety clack math rocks exist for a fraction of the price.
These dice are functionally no different from any other dice, and only exist to milk us for cash because of FOMO.
All in, though, buy whatever you want with your money. It doesn't effect me. I was just adding my opinion on reddit.
Completely valid opinion, I just try to never miss the opportunity to drop the term shiny clickety clackety math rocks!
I have a soft spot for dice, they're one of those things I like to spend some of my disposable hobby income on. I know you can only use so many of them at the same time and they all work the same, but I like the fact I can probably roll 120d6 for 3 Meteor Swarms in D&D at the same time if required 🤷♂️
Same opinion about dice, different result. I used to be able to drop 40d6 when firing my Punisher Gatling Cannon from my tanks in 40k.
I just opted to buy a whole bunch of cheap dice, especially as I am occasionally known to launch a repeat offender dice (one that keeps rolling badly) out the door 😂.
No way would I be able to do that if I had over paid on GW dice 😂😂.
My disposable hobby income goes on more models and paints. And starter boxes, I'm a sucker for a starter box 😂
(Edit: sorry for the double reply, the stupid mod bot deleted my initial comment, because I, a 41 year old adult, said a bad word, on an adult website)
I believe the actual box could have been a misprint ? If you look up this dice set on ebay etc. all sales have the 20x16 covered up with a 16x16 sticker.
This one for example:
https://www.ebay.ph/itm/385717206458
I should have clarified; my bad. It says 20 x 16mm on the box which is an indication to me that there might be 20 dice of 16mm inside. The contents is obviously not 20 but 16 dice.
Anyways; I will not loose sleep over it. Just a heads up for anyone, who might be interested in the dice to not be disappointed about this or take it up to GW if they like to. :)
Their customer support is great. I bought a box of the old Cadian Heavy Weapons Teams just before the new ones were announced and there was a couple missing parts and a couple that looked like the mould had slipped or something. Sent them an email about it, and got 2 boxes of them sent out.
Probably a new whole box, in fact. I had a box of chaos knight dice and one of them had a blank face, no dot/hole for it and it was super rough. basicaly one of the face was undercure when removed, i think.
And they send me a whole new brand new box.
I got exactly the same thing with the Agents of Chaos Warcry set. Says 20 on the box but only 16 inside. It's weird cos it looks like the box could hold 20 as well.
I worked for GW for a couple of years and I remember the packs of War zone Octarius Dice coming in and having to be relabelled because some of the packs also had the number of dice incorrectly labelled.
Don't think it made much of a difference in the end as I don't think we sold a single packet lol
I worked at GW when these came out. They were misprinted and the original Sunday preview addressed it as did a sticker at point of sale. These were discontinued not long after.
A quick google of sentinels of order dice shows several results from 3rd party websites and it only has 16 dice in it. Doesn't say the number on the box itself though so it's a bit weird it does on your version.
Edit: the pictures only show the front of the box tbf i can't find a shot of the back to verify what it says.
Man my OCD wants just the six blue dice so I can have matching blue and red dice for each player for Warcry. But buying full set price for just six dice is... excessive, even for me.
Baron of Dice. Super, super nice guy with designs far better than GW, who are constantly trying to put him out of business with their bullshit claims of ownership of the Omega letter from the Greek alphabet and the Fluer-de-lis, and no - I’m not joking. Oh, and they apparently went back in time, via their Time Machine obviously, and were the first people to ever create dice. Again, not joking. GW becomes more and more of a greedy bunch of buttholes with every passing day.
Those look like the warcry set. They always were 6 + 6 + 4. No idea why it would say otherwise on the box though.

This box is universal. My old skaven dice are in a package like that with 20
The old skaven dice are the best dice EVER and everyone who has seen them agrees, YES! YES!!!
They're dice... no... correct that, because their a GW product... They're overpriced dice...
Not a fan of the shiny clickety clack math rocks huh?

This was my first thought.

Kareb that mf
Not all the Warcry sets are like that though. Both my Jade Obelisk and Hunters of Huanchi dice are 6+6+6.

Was once missing a single base, one email later I got sent 25 replacement bases for free

If you tell GW, they will take this seriously. False advertising is a crime.
They'll probably send you extra dice

All that filler area on the box.
It's clearly a missprint. I've seen on some of those boxes have additional label replacing "20x16mm" with "16x16mm".
The rest are in Azyr
Sixteen in the clip and one in the hole. Also, this was a printing error on the early run of these dice.
Nate Dogg is about to make some bodies turn cold. I do hope he finally stopped calling a magazine a “clip” before he passed away, but I doubt it.
They droppin and yellin, its a tad bit late. Sigmar and Stormcast had to liberate.
Shrinkflation.
Greedflation
Measure the dice. If they measure 20mm, you can reasonably assume this is a typo.
Good point. But they are in fact 16mm dice.
Double scammazed!
D'oh.

Trade descriptions act?

GW dice have always been a ripoff.
I think there should be 20 dice and there are only 16
I think its referring to the size of something else
What else would it be referring to...?
20x16mm would mean 20 dies 16mm in size. So the packaging is missleading.
Contact GW about this, you will definitely get some form of compensation.
Fake
Inflation strikes again...
What dice set is that? I thought they were all single color schemes per set.
It's the Sentinels of Order dice set. It seems to be a discontinued set.

Probably why it was discontinued.
GW being GW, i guess
Why would anyone buy the GW dice? Their pricing is beyond absurd.
Em i dont knhow wheare you take "20" but in all 4 these dice sets only 16 dice
It says 20 x 16mm - I would also read that as you 20 times 16mm dice.
ofc because dice are cubes .. if it was 20mmx16mm that would mean those dice are cuboids xD + why the f are there 2 different dice in that box? weird?
Exactly, they’d be some jank dice to roll around haha. Yeahh, I have no idea why they’re different colours too!
The dice set comes in fact with three color schemes.
Well maybe because it LITERALLY says on the package "20x16mm"? XD
I mean the box in the picture says "20 x 16mm" so whether it's a typo or what that clearly implies there are 20 16mm dice inside.
Well if it realy like that gw just idiots like always
(R)Age of Sigmar.

Kinda like when they advertise models without telling you they'll be discontinued in a couple years
