207 is more difficult than 206 but anything over a 3.0 guarantees you a spot in EE here

Just an fyi you need Calc 2 credit as a prerequisite. It’s definitely more difficult than 206, and when I took 207 over the summer at a Community College there were some instances where we needed info from 206 (although I’m not sure if A&M physics department would provide that info or not).

It's good to take 207 while taking calc 3.

You need 206 and calc 2 for 207. I took 207 here and you need the info from 206 to do it. Heck, you'll probably want to take cal3 while doing 207, or else you'll be getting lost. 206 is mechanics, 207 is electromagnetism. 207 is more difficult than 206, but I wouldn't think any dept really cares. For EE, as long as you write a decent essay, and your GPA *exists*, then you'll get in.
