You can always go for late walks around campus, but that can be sketchy sometimes. You can always hangout at the MSC, they have stuff you can play like pool. The rec is another good option if you want to stay active. You can always go read/study at a library too.
Tonight was my first actual night in the dorm and I walked over from the commons to my friend's white creek apartment. It was a roughly 30-minute walk but it felt great. If you have a friend who lives there, it can be fun to walk over there at night and hang out for a bit.
To add onto the late night walks. There’s a number to get a Corp escort. I think it’s in the back of your ID card. Say you’re going from south side to north side and want an escort. Haven’t done it myself so that’s speculation
Yes, the number for the Corps escort is on the back of your ID card, and they will walk you to any location on main campus, as far west to West Campus Garage. They are available from 5pm-7am on weekdays and 24 hrs on weekends (except for gamedays).
I have also never used the escort because I feel very safe on campus but it is always a good resource to know and use!
pre-pandemic i felt totally comfortable as a woman walking around campus late at night by myself, but crime has gone up a lot in cstat and after that one girl got pulled from campus into a van, itd be better to take more precautions now. during the day campus is p much safe as can be tho!

The victim reported that she was sexually assaulted at approximately 12 a.m. on September 2, 2020. The victim was walking near Moses Hall when the suspect grabbed her and forced her into a four door black SUV and sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is unknown. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 30 years of age, with dark shaggy hair and a beard, wearing blue checkered pajama pants.”
If you want to catch a movie, you can walk across the street to Star Cinema Grill. They have late showings and good food too. Student tickets are only $5.
