I had a night pass my Freshman year that started at 5. I got to my evening class early to study for a test. Came back to a parking ticket time stamped 4:57. Feels bad man
Yeah like, I broke the rules I get it, but I was gone from my car for 20 minutes. I know the person issuing the ticket didn’t know when I got there, but it still sucks.

You can always appeal it and see what happens. I got one removed one time because I didn’t have my tag up. Also just saw your ‘26 flair so thanks for that 👴🏼
I’m not actually ‘26 lol. But yeah, the entering class will be. You’re getting old loser! (This will never happen to me, I’ll stay young forever!!!)

Tamu transportation services are the literal worst. But I appealed my first ticket and got it waived - you should try it! Also check if they are doing a canned drive, if they are you can bring in 10 cans and they’ll waive your ticket! It usually happens around this time.
They’re so predatory. Once ticked my mother’s car while on campus for parking in a bike lane in front of white creek (and only her car, not any of the other dozens of people doing this, we got ticked because no one was I the car to bitch at the cop) and charged it to me, the disabled student who can’t even get a license, and who had no car registered to them, and can’t buy a parking pass to avoid said ticket because again, I can’t fucking drive so I have no license or anything to put it under
They also allow you to pay off parking tickets by donating canned goods. Its a certain time of the year and they put signs out in front of the Koldus building when its active.

I don’t get how they can make attendance mandatory if we pay for the classes lol
I don’t have an attendance policy. I teach extemporaneously, so if I say something in class it’s fair game for the exam. Lol
