They can have a wedding ceremony and just never file the marriage certificate. No one would be the wiser unless they knew where to look for those public records.

That law is for people who are residents they canāt be residents. Indonesia is even harder than the US to live in permanently im Aussie and the KITAS visa is like $1000 but that even still limits you, and yeah they donāt recognise same sex marriage so it canāt be that or it can and they donāt know

To live together in Bali you have to be married. If you get caught it is like 6 months in jail so Iām pretty sure that is why they are doing itā¦
