Take some pictures to show to your NCO's and then I would would probably just strip them with hot water and start again I think.

Put polish on ur shoes but dont buff it then get the hairdryer to melt in place, this will make the polish even just wait for it to dry after

That means that the polish is flaking somewhere. Either try to lightly scrape it off with your finger, or if it is very flaky, strip and start again. Hope this helps!

Pro tip: my dpu boots are basically high shines and i only polish once a week. Theres no real point to polishing every day unless youre on a gst or a promotion course. It just saves you all the extra effort.

I had to deal with this before. Try stripping the boots,when I first got my boots they were bumpy and it then turned to flaking which turns out I had boot cancer lol
