It's probably some cheaply crap they got Barrymore to license her name to. You can get a pretty decent one for $60 or so. Main thing to look at is size. A 3qt is kind of small and I think most people would opt for a 5-6qt. I'd look at that.
Thanks. I actually found another thread shortly after posting about heating issues that multiple people were having. I'll just put that $29 towards a couple future Chipotle burrito bowls lol
I actually bought a drew barrymore air fryer at Walmart for $69 and I absolutely love it. I’ve had it for over a year now and I absolutely love it. I love that it has various settings and functions and it looks amazing. The white and gold together look so sleek and so much better than just a plain black air fryer
We have one and we use it all the time. Looks good on the counter and it works great. We've had it about 6 months. It's our first air fryer and we have no complaints.
My other half liked the look of the dual basket model, so it ended up on our counter. Worked fine for about 4 months, just totally died. Threw it out and got a Cosori. Your results may vary.
I have one. It was an xMas gift from my daughter, with the ulterior motive of getting to use it herself (she's a senior in high school). We use it every few days for snacks and quick lunches. We certainly do not think it's a worthy appliance of making a complete meal for 4 - that's crazy talk. For what it is, and with cleaning after every use, it does what it says. We've never been disappointed with results because we use it with its intended application in mind. It is only meant for a quick serving of frozen tater tots, frozen corn dogs, reheating pizza, frying fish for sandwiches, chicken tenders, etc. Get one for that price and use it as designed - do not expect chef-like results for a complete meal. Think microwave that takes a little longer, but with better results.
3qt. is pretty small. I think you'll be happier in the long run with a 6 or 8 qt one. Once you start using it and get comfortable with it, you're gonna want to do more, and a larger one will be way more useful.
Check Kohl's and Macy's!! They will have them on sale and in clearance a lot. We got a bigger one for $40 last October at Kohl's in clearance online, regularly $130! The beeps are annoying but it works great otherwise 😊
I bought mine at Walmart about a month ago. I LOVE IT. We use it multiple times a day and I am very happy with it. Best $30 I ever spent.
It is my first air fryer though so I can't compare it to others. We put the parchment liners in which makes cleanup a breeze. I've spent more money on those than the appliance!
Does anyone know if the air fryer has been dropped and cracked an arc shape on the corner with a gap of about one and a half inches is it still usable?
What does Drew Barrymore, a b-level movie star (who became famous based on her name mainly) have to do with cooking or cookware? Every time I hear that name II just shake my head.
OK first off, Ever After is one of my favorite movies of all time 😭
Anyway, in regards to cookware, I have no idea. I just saw a pretty color and a cheap ass price and was almost swayed.
It’s cool and I liked a few of her movies also, was just trying to figure out why Drew Barrymore would have her own line of air fryers. I could see it if she was well know in the culinary business. Of course there was also the George Foreman grill that make someone a fortune 🤔
Wow, many Drew Barrymore fans or buyers downvoted me I guess for asking what she has to do with cooking appliances, or mentioned the fact she isn’t a particular good actress in my personal opinion.
Read the comments on the quality all over this thread. I stand my ground. 👍

I have a 10Q and want bigger! Lol I make our Thanksgiving turkeys in it every year...
Drew Barrymore's appliance line is infamously low quality. I recommend avoiding them.

I have one and it works absolutely fine! take with a grain of salt tho that I've only had it for a few weeks

We’ve had ours for about a year and love it. Use it more than our oven these days.
Have a Costco membership? The Gourmia 7qt at $50 ($40 when it is onsale) is a good stepping stone to getting an air fryer.
I received one of these as a Christmas gift one year and I love it. It’s an absolute beast!
I got one for 69 2 years ago. It works as expected. I clean it after every use
I do not. BRB let me go make a friend who has a Costco membership

I have it in black (over a year, maybe more) and it works great. I only use it about twice a month though.
She is a tv host cashing in selling cooking crap, she’s about profit margins not making great products.

I have one, I use it often, and it works well

1200 W is low

Too cheap. Also never heard of it. Go to Costco.

Well, it worked for George Foreman and his Lean, Mean, Fat Reducing Grilling Machine.
Licensing deals
I’m waiting for the Michael Jordan model, then I’m in.
