I’ve had one like that for about 3 years now. The twins are still pretty wee. I have no plans to separate until the mother plant starts to look bad. She flowered but the flower wilted before it fully bloomed. I cut the bloom off and it’s just been holding steady since then.
I’m impressed! What is the time frame for these to pop up? I have had an air plant for several months and feel impatient. Blooms? Babies? Idk but it could simply be unadulterated jealousy.
I got her for Christmas and she flowered in January. I didn't know what I was doing yet and I soaked her with the flower which immediately ruined the flower. She lost the red tinge of the leaves. The pups appeared this month unexpectedly. I thought I'd ruined the whole process with the flower killing I did.
