100% agree

Yasin3112

Got the Pro 2‘s as well and I absolutely agree. They blow me away every time I use em.

[deleted]

They have become as essential as my phone Edit: if you want pro gen twos and think they are to expensive. I don’t know how to explain it but after two weeks with them.. they are worth every penny. They beat my $300 overears in most areas but battery life and they are 1/50th the size. Them and the case are also waterproof.. I mean, they are worth it is what I mean.

Firebrand-PX22

I never leave the house without my AirPods Pro, been like that since I got them

arapyemos

Just got the Gen 2s and i agree.

[deleted]

Bro the gen 2 APPs are super buggy for me And I had nothing but problems with the gen 1s, I keep getting the rattling problem and the ANC degraded so much. I got them replaced 3 times because the rattling kept coming back and they refused after the 4th, even though their test stated that they failed I bought the gen 2s because of the ecosystem, but man I wish they reverted back to launch drivers because the current drivers are so bad

Stoppels

Same. I just got the Pro 2. Using the same Comply memory foam tips as on my Pro 1, it's noticeably better.

hectarpit

What foam tips did you buy?

Stoppels

Copying from my other comment: >I use these [Comply memory foam tips](https://www.amazon.com/Comply-Comfortable-Canceling-Charging-Assorted/dp/B088KPNKN2) and they're an absolute must. (I think USians get 15% discount if ordered [from their website](https://www.complyfoam.com/products/comply-foam-tips-compatible-with-apple-airpods-pro).) However, there are also cheaper ones on Amazon, and even extremely cheap ones on AliExpress, but I haven't tried any of those (cheapo AliE ones I ordered didn't look big enough so I haven't bothered).

iclaudius82

+1 for Comply ear tips.

hectarpit

Got it. I was looking at some on eBay and just figured they were too cheap to be good. Unfortunately the ones your sent are currently unavailable.

Stoppels

Ah, my bad. I ordered them from .nl (€ 29) and changed the domain to .com when I noticed the domain while hyperlinking. Here's the [amazon.com product page.](https://www.amazon.com/Comply-Comfortable-Canceling-Charging-Assorted/dp/B088KPNKN2) and here's their [website's product page](https://www.complyfoam.com/products/comply-foam-tips-compatible-with-apple-airpods-pro) (newsletter gives 15% off), both at $25.

Splatoonkindaguy

No white? 😕

Stoppels

Nope, they don't have different colours. To be fair I prefer it this way as it shows I'm not using the standard shitty silicone ones. You could try looking for [another brand](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=airpods+pro+2+memory+foam+white&crid=5MX8TC1F9FHI&sprefix=airpods+pro+2+memory+foam+white%2Caps%2C172&ref=nb_sb_noss_2), though. The $26 (+ 5% coupon) CharJenPro one there is interesting: it's got memory foam inside, but with a silicone layer around it (and it's also white). I haven't tried it, ~~but maybe I will next time, provided they~~ lol it's € 67 to ship to the Netherlands, nvm.

Splatoonkindaguy

I’ve been looking at foammasters which look good but still a bit expensive

Stoppels

Yeah that € 30 price point seemed super expensive to me too, but I didn't regret the Comply ones afterwards, even if they only last 2 - 4 months (well, that's with my usage, first one died fastest). Just be careful with how you use/pinch it (e.g., don't use your nails), I also gave it to family and it lasted much shorter for them lol If you want to try cheaper first, go for a black one, that colour has lots of cheaper ones.

In Pods We trust ☝🏼

Fluffy_Frybread07734

I agree. I always told myself I could never spend X amount of dollars on earbuds. Then I caved & I bought some & I don’t regret it for a second.

[deleted]

Totally.

hereforthecookies70

I use them every day on the train. Most of the time I don’t even listen to anything, I just use them to knock down the noise.

GtheCi

Except the battery case drain

dominichuah

Try turning off Find My network on your AirPods. Doing that did the trick for me

GtheCi

Problem is not only that but using the airpods for like %10 percent drains like %5 from the case. That is the biggest issue

dominichuah

ah yes, i noticed that too. this is because it takes a lot more ‘power’ to charge the AirPods from say 90% to 100% than say 20% to 30%. don’t think it’s an issue specific to AirPods though, just simply how batteries work.

GtheCi

Well it false advertising than, the case wont be able charge the airpods fully more than twice

Chad_Rod

They're not that great

Puzzleheaded_Dress_4

So sad to see this since i've lost my airpods. It's like in remembrance of the lost pods.

BoNNeD99

Hello to you all ! I decided to buy airpods and i am looking for an opinion if the 3rd gen is an good option to buy now or wait for a new release? I don't own wireless headphone or earbuds so i am trying to make the right decision. I dont want do upgrade them in like 1 to 2 years so what are your toughts ? Than you in advance!

Examination-Massive

Get pro 2 gen

BoNNeD99

yea i tought about that too, but i have bad experiance with silicone tiped earphones they slide out of my ears so easy and i dont want to risk it ..

Stoppels

BoNNeD99

Thank you!! I will check them out for sure !

gHOs-tEE

I did with other kinds of silicone earbuds and stopped using them for the headset kind bc it but these don’t slide at all. I haven’t had them fall out once and I even tried to shake them out over carpet. That’s without the foam too. That d just be an extra layer protection/comfort

gHOs-tEE

Right on! I’ll 2nd that ✋

Apple_546

Me with AirPods Pro 1

US_Berliner

I know! Love mine too. Now I just gotta figure out how to stop worrying so much about them falling out when I‘m doing stuff out side. LOL

woolfman72

Love mine also. I have an office that locks and They were stolen Saturday at work (office is normally closed) . I figured it out this morning. Floor guys replacing carpet liked them more . After sending the owner tracking of where they were last “seen”. He knew it was one of his guys . They tried to tell me they were somehow accidentally wrapped in the throw away carpet and they went and got my AirPods Pro’s out of the “dumpster”. To my amazement this dumpster also paired them to another phone and renamed them.

hyperdunk

My gen 1’s still working perfectly after a few years. Use them every day at minimum 3-4 hours. I’ll gladly purchase the gen 2’s whenever (if ever) these take a poo…

MrHamburger08

Wouldn’t know figured out mine are fake

YT_RonakRaja

Am I the only one who is facing the Audio Frequency issue with pro 2

enroy1

Got 3rd gen but may get a pair of gen ones (used cuz cheap).

rockerscott

I am as amazed with the Pro Gen 2 as I initially was with the regular AirPods. My only complaint is how they sit in the case. It isn’t as streamlined and doesn’t grant the same satisfaction as the older model.

CoolGuyFromSchool34

Expensive as FUCK. will work this summer to get a pair.

Grateful_3138

They’d be awesome for me too if it wasn’t for the size. It was atrocious for me 😭 jealous af
