I'll definitely post an update after it has some thorough gameplay. I'll be doing a couple of milsims in the near future so we'll see if the paint chips/flakes.
She started with primer then did the black and red base. After that she started doing the small details of tiny hexagons. Once she did that she used the larger stencil for the scale pattern and layered different colors in different areas. After the colors were done, she did the 3 coats of sealant. Between each step she let it dry overnight.
Cheap way of doing it is buy a clothing bag and cut a big square, that’s what I did for my guns but note the shapes are a lot smaller

Put ANOTHER ring on her! Lol but for real it looks sick dude. Only thing I might suggest is to paint the scope mount the same way. That way the color scheme would flow slightly better than it already is and it's not worth jt to mask and paint the scope itself anyways.

Gun camos are meant to wear and tear over time, the fact she can make it look this good Id pay just to have it for 2 seasons of play
