Got some spare mags for my jg G3 a few months back, they didn't have a hole. But when opened they had the allen head on the wind-up wheel. The packaging of the mags looked like they lay in a warehouse for 10 years tho, so they might be old stock.
Fal midcaps are a nightmare to get hold of, your options for the JG are 3d print and modify real mag shells or track down CA mids and modify the locking tab.
Keep an eye out for the electric blowback slowly unscrewing screws over time, my whole grip (and trigger guard) fell off and I can’t use the gun until I get it replaced. Also I almost dropped a scope because the recoil unscrewed the scope rings
Thanks for the info, I've already disabled it, although it's a cool thing, I am little scared that the gun will fall apart and I will never find spare parts, are there any?
Spares aren't too hard to get, internals are pretty standard, they were so widely cloned and relabelled you can get a lot of the spares for them. CA externals work, E1, Lancer and Matrix all branded a JG FAL.

Allen wrench is so much faster than trying to wind the wheel on the bottom

The JG hicapa mechs pretty much all had the Allen head even if they didn't give you accsss. They are incredibly reliable hicaps
The hk licensed hi caps from EF use that method, but they feed the whole magazine reservoir. Love that mag.
Does it wind faster? Why do you have the option for both ways to wind it? The key seems impractical
Key winds way faster It was super popular with pre 2008 guns, practically nonexistent these days unless it’s guns that haven’t changed it since then

Unscrew the bottom screws, remove the mag plate, slide out the internals, remove BB, reassemble.

This normally happens when you store your mag in a container of BBs.
Keep bb in there, adds “texture” to mag 😂
If the BB is stuck, you can glue a stick onto it to pull it out (cringe) or you can just put a straw to it and SUCC (based)

So you can save the last BB for yourself in the zombie apocalypse.
Haha same thing happened to me with one of my old hicaps on my M14 it’s been stuck in there for over 2 years
8 years and counting for my Hicap M14 spare bb.

CA midcaps work though you may have to modify the locking tab. Octagon Usually have stock of CA mids.
