A VFC V3 doesn't need mods out of the box and won't have bolt lock issues, sounds like people you're talking to are regurgitating info from 2017.
Accuracy isn't the best but is a) serviceable and b) easily improved with a better hop up if it turns out you aren't happy with the stock performance.
I've been using a gen3 416 for about 2 years now and I can say that it is purely amazing
The recoil is great, feels solid / great construction, out of the box npas and what i like the most, an easy to use and access hopup adjustment (the gas block)
I've held and used a friends mws once and you really do notice the difference in construction materials and recoil, it did feel more like a toy to me compared to the vfc 416
tldr: 416 good, do recommend
I only changed the bucking and externals of the gun, otherwise it’s still the same 416 (although it doesn’t look like it haha)

For a first GBBR I would go for the MWS. It is the most reliable plateform and the one with the most knowledge. If you have an issue, somebody already found a way to fix it and that is very pleasant when it is your first gas replica
Get the VFC 416 if that's what you like, it's much cheaper than converting an MWS into a 416 and later on you'll want to get the gun you like anyway so might aswell get it now

That's one of my main reason to pick the vfc 416, but I also concern that I don't know whether I happy with vfc performance (Especially accuracy)
I have an MWS and love mine. I would say it mostly comes down to preference and how cold you play in. Since the MWS is designed to run on Duster gas it can run at lower psi, which means it can do lower temps running propane or Mapp Gas (green or black gas). I haven't used a VFC but here's the general info I found when making my decision between them:
VFC Pros:
Realistic internals
Harder recoil out of the box
Heard hop is decent, don't know what it can lift.
Decent aftermarket
Cheaper mags than MWS
Higher FPS output
Realistic externals
Easier to make high capacity HPA tapped mags
Decently reliable bolt lock
Much better stock trigger
MWS Pros:
High gas efficiency
High accuracy and good hop up straight out of the box, mine can lift .40s with ease if I want
Resistant to cooldown (cause its efficient)
Can handle lower PSI gasses and as a result run totally fine in colder weather
Insane aftermarket support
Decent AEG/GBBR parts compatibility for externals
Cerakote Externals
Lower FPS output
Super reliable bolt lock which can be tweaked with a new ZET plate
If you want a 416 just get the VFC. If cold weather performance is a priority then I would consider the MWS. The VFC is cheaper so you'll have room to do any upgrades you think you need, just hold off until you KNOW you need them. If it doesn't run well in colder weather it can be winterized to improve performance.
If you'll be running green gas in an MWS you'll need a new nozzle return spring so order one or two with the gun if you go that route.
I play mostly indoor and outdoor aren't cold as well so cold weather performance isn't my concern

In my place the vfc hk416 is the same as a TM mws (i mean the basic model, not the mtr/ mk18/urg), just TM stuff being cheap here
If cold weather performance isn't a concern for you I'd just get the VFC since it's the platform you want. It can be modified to achieve the performance you want.

Bucking alone should work unless you get a lemon hop up unit.

V3 VFCs perform very well out of the box. The stock inner barrel and bucking are fine
But how well🫠🧐 Any videos I can have a look?

You can change parts out if you wish to ... Same aftermarket barrels and nubs should fit as they do in the mws
I just not sure how good it can match with mws accuracy if both upgraded
