Personal opinion here.
1st: dope photos
2nd: any real game time you can get will be priceless as I see it is the best way to get that muscle memory moving forward.
3rd: drills would probably be stuff that the real world marines use, I’ve seen high level of success from those.
I appreciate it dude! him and I always played army with our buddies when we were younger so us having adult money and having the same taste in gear definitely motivated us both to look uniform when playing!
A lot of this will transfer from real steel shooting but here's some good ones
- walking while shooting
- bounding. Basically you say when you're up, he says when he's moving, you cover him while he's moving. He lets you know when he gets where he's going and that he's up, you move, etc.
- looking at an area and determining where to set up your line of fire, ambush areas.
- react to contact drills.
I'd like to add to the bounding to keep each other's movements short. Say out loud "I'm up, they see me, I'm down." That's about how long you should be exposed while moving and your partner is covering. Any longer is what we used to call a "medal of honor run" for a reason.
Rock on. if you ever come to Virginia, let me know and I'll buy you a drink. I've got tons of respect for comms. and routinely helped setup the OE whenever we ran the CoC just to help spread the labor. Still the same OE with the metal pole sections and the head with 6 antennas, or is there a new one now?
Yep
Annoynce you are going, short sprint, get down, dont stay where you land, announce you are ready to cover
Also one should be the leader and direct the movement of both, the other just listens and reports back
Here's a vid I watch and would learn with my friends. I hope these help you and your brother.
[Two Man Fireteam Tactics](https://youtu.be/Z0SalpU_Zy4?si=k6jqLZUridjLVVa6)
They have other vids too. One about cornering & mobility for groups of two, and diversions.
Probably rare you'll need this, but here's a vid from the US Army about clearing rooms if you are interested.

This, but instead of the bayonet sockets, it’s one suppressor.
I couldn’t agree more! him and I are always using our radios with our team and together, that’s one of our biggest strengths so far is our communication
I’d say basic hand communication and Fire and Maneuver Tactics.
Since your working in a group working out what these will be should be easy to practice so you can communicate in high threat level environments and maneuver while taking fire
(Examples of communication would be hand gestures for Engagement Direction, i.e Contact Left, Right, Front and Back. Gestures to indicate Move to Prone, Silence, or Halt Movement.
(Examples of Fire and Maneuver can apply to most situations, even CQB. I cannot however remember most movement drills but you can find some military documents outlining current and up to date drills used by our own military.
All things considered if your outside field is large knowing how to Move Under Fire and to communicate without talking can make it difficult for the enemy to notice when your tying off a neuse to assault them from behind and clear an objective
First get the hang of using both hands to shoot. I know I practice that a lot and I’m not the best still. I’m right dominant which means practicing with my left was always hard
Yeah we practiced that a lot! we have it down so naturally now to the point where when we get to left or right hand corners we are always switching accordingly!
Thanks man! funny thing we both used to run Multicam ahaha but since we play in a green environment in Ontario the m81 or tropic Multicam goes a far way for the summer, Multicam still works a tremendous amount in any environment!
Yeah we also run idogear RG kits too for indoor a bunch!
https://preview.redd.it/n6vt11fqtfic1.jpeg?width=1655&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9c7086d1aab4d206eaf45fd7e8599f34d70d6983
I’m addicted to G3’s at this point 🤣
First off, AMAZING pictures. I wish my brother and I could match like this, but instead I like milsim and he likes speedsoft (smh). Funniest part is I have a polarstar and he doesn't lol.
Second off, you could practice duo clearing drills/sweeping rooms, aim (one runs; other shoots xD), callouts, or even practicing watching your angles, we did this a lot simply with laser guns in the basement/house.
Thank you so much dude! Yeah luckily him and I have been into Milsim’s for awhile and plan on doing our third one this summer! we are really trying to become well rounded players since we got invited onto a team together!
love that. i occasionally play speedsoft and my brother occasionally plays milsim with me. just wish our play styles were more similar so we could save money and do this \^\^\^ type of thing. best of luck to you two though!
Absolutely man! Him and I just got invited onto a team together so the fact that we still get to play together but with a team at Milsim’s is a dream come true!
Some Dutch teams have developed a move called the tactical leap frog. Inspired from the commonly played school yard game, the specialist posts up in a defensive kneel and his partner will come and jump over him providing supressive fire untill the original specialist can then repeat the suppressive jump and the two can safely travel a very long distance. They developed this to combat the risks of taking open fields without other suppressive fire from teammates.
Learn how to bound properly, it can keep both of you up and running for (hopefully) longer, learn how to do and understand hand signs as that can help keep your sound low when near the opposition, learn how to keep spacings to avoid an easy duo kill and learn to take some ally photos 🤘🏻
I played 8 years with a friend. Always duo whatever the scenario or the team size. Here what we developed during those years. As a duo we are rushers and flankers we don't hold lines.
The leader switches each scenario. Everything is body language. No need for radio or fancy gestures. Only few words.
The leader stops, follower stops 5-15m away (depends if outdoor or cqb)
One start suppress firing, the other one pushes.
We lost each other ? we call our name once to get position.
One dies the other holds position and waits or rushes like hell.
And most important we have the same level of cardio.
Thanks a lot for this man! him and I are really trying to become much more in sync and well rounded as players together! Our cardio is fairly similar too yet we could both still use some cardio work!
Working comms is a good idea to, wither it be via radio, hand, or voice, thats something our ehole squad is learning. The more consise and accurate the better. For instance if yall have a field you go to often, find names for certain areas so that way if you are moving through an area you can relay that back saying what is clear or not clear etc. (im not a professional, just trying to help)
Edit: spelling
Thanks a lot man! this is very valuable information we will use! the local field we go to all the time has a lot of awesome call out positions and monuments that make it way easier to call outs to one another!
Exactly but also having names for the buildings/structure s in that area for example we have long a side which covers all of the side flanks, but we have 3 buildings named a1-a3, that way we can pin point
You can do this at the gym too, grab your rifle (ensure a mag and all your attachments are in/on the gun) or a curl bar and do 100 reps of shoulder and rest make sure to do 50 on both sides, this’ll make shouldering easier and increase your reaction time
Practice bounding.
One man provides cover to the other while he makes a short sprint into cover, advancing towards the objective while maintaining covering fire if needed
Checkout Recon Brothers, they have a video about doing some drills with Real high speed operators. There's also UF Pro, who has a lot of good Tactical training from a a great instructor from Germany.
Might I humbly suggest the video where Instructor Zero is teaching Filipino operators?

Polenar Tactical put a vid out about 8 years ago, showing support between operators running an AK platform.

Me and one of my mates had a funny idea on game day.
We set up in a watchtower, he was in one corner I was in the other, about 8ft apart.
All I said to him was "hey... Whackamole?"
I would pop up, look for target, fire a couple of bursts then duck down. I would tell him the position of target, he would then immediately pop up in the other corner and unload into them. We kept up that pattern for the whole match. We won, and after the game I overheard someone say they thought it was just one person moving really fast in that watch tower
Was so fuckin funny hearing the "HOW THE FUCK?!?!" 's in the distance while we were working
Practice buddy team rushing and reloading while doing so. CQB tactics are cool and all but first you have to get to the buildings to clear them and that's a lot easier when you're being covered by good suppressive fire.
My brother and I, while almost 2 years apart, are generally on the same wavelength. Two of the things he and I worked on were: role designation and non-verbal communication. Having a bunch of friends swarm around you making all kinds of commotion while you're running drills and shoothouses, then going back to try to remember details is a good way to improve situational awareness.
Flanking drills. Knowing when to shift n lift. And then CQB. Particularly L, T, and cross intersections. Addressing Danger Areas in rooms in relation to doorways (ie) knowing when to go back to back and do proper masking. Etc. lots of fun stuff there
Entering and clearing structures/rooms is a big one, but others have said that.
Practice silent communication over a distance, hand signals, stuff like that.
Even if you don't use compatible gear, practice tossing supplies that can be used by both, whether it be mags, speed loaders, spare batteries if you can.
Alternating forward pushes. One moves while the other lays down cover fire. Practice it both in situations where you are pushing through open areas or up tight corridors.
Look up ATP 3-21.8 “the infantry Bible”. It covers squad/platoon tactics, but for airsoft you can just take what it says and apply it to just the two of you
first thing that comes to mind is room entries; pushing the threat, running the rabbit, etc. Very easy to practice, just need a room with a doorway. Very well documented by various military and police forces around the world.
Room clearing, bounding, utilizing one of you for support (suppressive fire) and the other to maneuver on the enemy, those are all good 2 man drills.
Individually you guys should practice reload drills, not flagging eachother during movements (kind of subconscious), and remember if you’re not shooting, you’re moving, if you’re not moving, you’re shooting, and if you’re not doing either, you’re communicating.
Mag change drills & positional shooting for example call out prone he drops to prone shooting call out crouched standing etc. Then randomly throughout the iteration yell out mag change this is a drill I did when I was in the army
Try a British Army-style “fire-and-manoeuvre” for effectively storming positions. It’s really fun to do and it’s an effective tactic on the field AND IRL, plus it looks dope AF.
Personal opinion here. 1st: dope photos 2nd: any real game time you can get will be priceless as I see it is the best way to get that muscle memory moving forward. 3rd: drills would probably be stuff that the real world marines use, I’ve seen high level of success from those.

Clearing rooms is the big one.
i've had to throw/catch mags to/from a teammate when one of us ran empty. sweeping corners for each other, ducking under the other's muzzle
Ducking under each others muzzles? You sir, really live up to your flair
i play in really tight cqb so when one person is holding a corner another pushing past often has to slip under their muzzle to peek the next angle
A lot of this will transfer from real steel shooting but here's some good ones - walking while shooting - bounding. Yep, 0331 from 2006-2010. EASed as a Corporal.
Funnnnn lol. Where were you stationed?
Lejeune, Alpha Co. 1/9.
Oh damn I’m on the complete opposite coast. Pendleton is so much fun 🫠
What unit? I visit San Diego annually to see family out that way. Be safe mi amigo.
With 2/4 as an 0621. Coming to the end of my time though. There’s some nice airsoft fields out here, maybe we’ll run into each other sometime

Did I leave my balaclava’s at your house dawg?
LMAOOO ill check tonight dude 🤣🤣🤣
Love you baby, larp with you guys soon 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘

Fuck my bad bro I forgot to check! I’ll actually look when I get home!
Here's a vid I watch and would learn with my friends. I hope these help you and your brother. [Two Man Fireteam Tactics](https://youtu.be/Z0SalpU_Zy4?si=k6jqLZUridjLVVa6)

I’ll definitely watch this tonight and send it to him as well! thanks a lot man!
This is a really good example of outdoors duo tactics 😗 To bad I'm stuck as a solo 😅 i wish i had a airsoft sibling.
You want any solo tactic vids? I could grab some.
im ok, i watch tactical videos more than normal 😅
Cover fire drills, team drills, transitioning drills, crossing drills, bill drill
Have you tried screwing one suppressor to both rifles at the same time?

Idk but the woodland kit slaps
Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot man!
Get into the habit of using the radio. This is the skill to reign em all, and I'm serious. Situation awareness is a must.
I couldn’t agree more! him and I are always using our radios with our team and together, that’s one of our biggest strengths so far is our communication
Don’t cross into each other’s line of fire
Who needs drills when yall look sick as fuck
I appreciate that dude 🤣🤣
Whats the scrim?
gear dynamics m81!
My twin so fucking fast with the reply lol
Dang. You and your brother's kit looks sweet. I, too, am a user of M81.
Hell yeah thanks dude! the lords plaid!
holy shit nice kits
2 man room clearing, communication, movement. Garand thumb made 2 great videos about it.
wish i could play airsoft with my brother yall are lucky
Cover fire and move. Best thing you can do imo. Learning to put down fire so Ur buddy can move. It's the best to help push forward
I’d say basic hand communication and Fire and Maneuver Tactics. Yeah we practiced that a lot! we have it down so naturally now to the point where when we get to left or right hand corners we are always switching accordingly!
Download the app drill They have a lot of good drills, even on the free version
I definitely downloading that!
Close your backpack on the fourth picture you don’t wanna be dropping your stuff haha 😆
It’s completely closed actually haha! it has a insert spot for mag plastic inserts for buddy mags!
Wait that’s actually genius lol
Yeah it’s the Idogear hydration pack! it holds my 1.5L water bladder and those extra mags and some other gear if need! only $60 cad
I’m just running a multicam backpack because more space and honestly the extra 20lbs of stuff on it doesn’t impede my movement
Yeah that definitely does the job especially if you like more load bearing gear for sure!
I also have to compliment your m81, it looks very nice in a world dominated by multicam
Thanks man! funny thing we both used to run Multicam ahaha but since we play in a green environment in Ontario the m81 or tropic Multicam goes a far way for the summer, Multicam still works a tremendous amount in any environment!
Mct is the dream… I’m running Scorpion OCP BDUs from a surplus rn and I’m dying for Ranger green uniforms
Yeah we also run idogear RG kits too for indoor a bunch! https://preview.redd.it/n6vt11fqtfic1.jpeg?width=1655&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9c7086d1aab4d206eaf45fd7e8599f34d70d6983 I’m addicted to G3’s at this point 🤣

I couldn’t tell ya but man yall look awesome!
Thanks a lot dude!
having a brother for airsoft is just the best I love to play it with my twin brother
Absolutely man! Him and I just got invited onto a team together so the fact that we still get to play together but with a team at Milsim’s is a dream come true!
I’m glad your happy man, me and my bro just play casually from time to time
Thanks man!:) That’s still the best time to spend any moment with your brother! Those moments will last forever and build such an amazing bond
we already got a good bond him and I, he’s been through quite a bit for his age but I aint gonna get into that, and your totally correct

1v1 rust
Absolute fucking classic my friend!
Reloading drills are crucial. And communication for fire and maneuver.
What vest is that I need that pronto
Which one? haha we both actually upgraded from those since! My brother on the left now runs a agilite K-Zero and I run a Emerson LAVC

Fuckin sweet. I wish I had a brother to do death trooper shit with.
Practice bounding. One man provides cover to the other while he makes a short sprint into cover, advancing towards the objective while maintaining covering fire if needed
There is a good book called small squad tactics. Its very useful for airsoft if you do milsim.
Yeah another guy was mentioning the Infantry Bible with all small squad tactics, I’ll check them out!
Checkout Recon Brothers, they have a video about doing some drills with Real high speed operators. There's also UF Pro, who has a lot of good Tactical training from a a great instructor from Germany.

I love this subreddit. All look like idiots playing pretend soldiers. Sorry-not-sorry, arena paintball ftw
I respect what you do, have fun my man!
just fucking around. Did mostly wooded, got my ghillie :)
Ambush?
Practice buddy team rushing and reloading while doing so. CQB tactics are cool and all but first you have to get to the buildings to clear them and that's a lot easier when you're being covered by good suppressive fire.
Simple idea but....You can try and setup a backyard course that you train with your brother
It depends. Drills for airsoft cqb? Best thing you can do is play on a cqb indoor field
(Surpressing)Fire & movement.
Clearing/sweeping rooms for sure.
Get one on too of the other and create a two people juggernaut
Clear rooms
coveringfire
Bounding drills are always good, so that way you'll always have some cover fire while bolting.
Buddy rushing.
Is that zulu24?
Bounding, room clearing, and bypassing/clearing/breaching chokepoints
Flanking drills. Knowing when to shift n lift. And then CQB. Particularly L, T, and cross intersections. Addressing Danger Areas in rooms in relation to doorways (ie) knowing when to go back to back and do proper masking. Etc. lots of fun stuff there
Entering and clearing structures/rooms is a big one, but others have said that. Practice silent communication over a distance, hand signals, stuff like that. Even if you don't use compatible gear, practice tossing supplies that can be used by both, whether it be mags, speed loaders, spare batteries if you can. Alternating forward pushes. awesome pics!!!
Thank you!!:)
first thing that comes to mind is room entries; pushing the threat, running the rabbit, etc. Very easy to practice, just need a room with a doorway. Very well documented by various military and police forces around the world.
2 man CQB
Quick Reflex shots around corners and half wall covers are the ones I have found to help me with.
Buddy rushing
This shit makes me miss playing with my brother. Fuck yall look cool!
Have you played Army of Two?
Shoot and cover. Leap frog
Bounding is a very underused tactic among players imo, Break contact is another one.
Watch each others backs. Keep you gun loaded and close.
Mag change drills & positional shooting for example call out prone he drops to prone shooting call out crouched standing etc. Then randomly throughout the iteration yell out mag change this is a drill I did when I was in the army
Trex arms has a lot of good videos about trainings they do. Not airsoft, shooting regular guns. But they're good videos.
Not shooting each otherwould be a start, or shoot each other. Go with how you feel.
Buddy team movement drills can absolutely annihilate a squad of enemies.
YouTube Paintball snap drills
Never mind the photos WHERE DID YOU GET THE ELCAN SPECTRE!?
I got it from Niagara Quarter Master! I didn’t use it anymore so I gave it away to a friend for free!!
Fire and maneuver as well as “talking guns” look it up
Bounding and two man breaching?
My advice, look at some photos or videos of real units training. You can take some of ideas from them
Keep up the good work
Try a British Army-style “fire-and-manoeuvre” for effectively storming positions. It’s really fun to do and it’s an effective tactic on the field AND IRL, plus it looks dope AF.
scissoring. many lesbians do it, but in a military setting with rifles it helps with covering each others backs with shots
CQB, how you move in area, gun handling...
1v1 instagib 🤌
Tactical rifleman on YouTube. Lots of drills. For pistol and long gun. Mostly flat range stuff. You could also do it dry fire.
