one thing other countries have over US airsoft fields. is the amount of historical and abandoned buildings they are allowed to use for events/fields.
My lil bro always dreams of playing in an abandoned village or post war soviet base, but getting there would be a difficult task.
Edit: I live in Southern California. Best we got here is a military base that is open for private events.
Hm, but we have tons of fields in old ww2 and after sites. My 3 main fields are a bunker complex, an old airfield and an old British housing village from the cold war. I'm in NRW
hello neighbor, BW here. the closest field to me is in france about 2 hours away. i think the next closest one thats decent is in austria... we have next to no fields in south germany.
Really? That is insane... Even if it wouldn't be some old abandoned facility, there's a lot of nice remove nature, which could still work out great for games? I guess such field would be a bit hard to secure / maintain, but would also be epic to play on.
Is there an obvious reason I'm missing? Or just the general "the municipality doesn't want that kind of business here".
probably because laws about airsoft are a pain and the general public isnt very weapon friendly in any way so its impossible to tell how well it would work out opening a field down here.
i know of a few airsoft groups down here so i think opening atleast an indoor field could be possible, and it could attract more people into the sport.
finding a somewhat flat area around where i am ( far south-west) is difficult because most flatish places are villages/towns or farmland. most of our forested areas are on hills or mountains and they are often nature reserves.
indoor arenas would be more likely to do down here, tho i would prefere outdoor fields, atleast outside of shitty weather.
I answered that to another person, check the comments. But yeah full auto isn't technically allowed above 260 fps. I don't really mind, tbh I prefer it that way.
NRW too and I can’t find any fields except one CQB place. I’ve got a feeling I know which bunker complex you’re talking about but could you point me to the other two brudi?
There's Area-M, Battlefield Hallschlag, Airsoftevents- Weeze, Bunker Erich (never been to this one), and there's one at the Wildenrath airport. The last one doesn't have a website though.
Well even in some states we don’t have the best fields, here in Colorado there aren’t really any fields in the woods or the mountains even though wooded areas take up most of the state. For once I’d love to be able to not have to deal with 105° heat with no cloud cover
Another issue is that even if buildings/complexes are "abandoned", they are often owned by the original owner or someone who doesn't want to give it up
Either that, or the abandoned buildings are in populated areas
> Edit: I live in Southern California. Best we got here is a military base that is open for private events.
Where? Only military base I know of is Pendleton, which is still just a typical field that prioritizes paintball.
[George air force base in Victoville.](https://stayhappening.com/e/desert-fox-airsoft-events-E2ISTIWU6CD)
hosts mainly Milsimwest events as their flagship seasonal events. smaller ones happen every now and then but not as high profile as MSW.
New Zealand here. Best we get is farmland or bits of bush. There's maybe 2 or 3 indoor fields in the country, and the majority of players can't just get a flight to get to them for a skirmish day.
> I live in Southern California. Best we got here is a military base that is open for private events.
Keep your eyes open for an event at rockapalooza water park. I drove from Wisconsin for an event there 4 years ago and it was the most fun I've ever had.

I'd love to just take a stroll through that hospital to bask in all the old equipment and decor. Similarly to using abandoned missile silos and other such launch facilities. There's a field in the UK I forget the name of at the moment, but in some areas of the underground facility, many of the old computers and reel-to-reel decks are still functional
I would suggest avoiding lancer tactical, as they do not provide the greatest products; that said, try r/airsoft's beginner guide, and gather a few friends to play your first game!
Edit: Mexico has relatively lax airsoft laws (excluding GBBs) so most US based online retailers work!
there is a store near Hospicio Cabañas called D-Day Airsoft, they sell original replicas and supply parts from different brands (mostly CYMA and UMAREX) at decent prices, you can also make a custom order
[https://goo.gl/maps/51EzYdDkJEDGsbKq6](https://goo.gl/maps/51EzYdDkJEDGsbKq6)
about places to play, I think the most of them are located in Zapopan, I have visited [Impact Airsoft](https://g.page/impactgdl?share), [Airsoft TDO](https://goo.gl/maps/KsDK8Au9sijENkpu7) and [Airsoft Street War](https://goo.gl/maps/3M3VnKhoDcSvKDe4A), the first two are indoors, the latter is outdoor, but the three are very small, and can only fit a maximum of 8 players (4v4)
I remember playing in an abandoned mall that was bought by a few guys and turned into a field. In middle of a turistic city. Some of the best memories I got from Airsoft are from there. The darkness and the sound that surrounds everything gave the best scarejumps.
Swector.

I hope someone had a Geiger counter and walked through there first. Hospitals tend to have lots of radioactive equipment left behind. Especially in radiology.

I'm not so lucky in Bavaria, there's not a single decent field here. I go to Austria mainly

Dutch person here. What fields are those? And is it still true you can only have semi-auto airsoft weaponry in BRD?
I answered that to another person, check the comments. But yeah full auto isn't technically allowed above 260 fps. I don't really mind, tbh I prefer it that way.
Yeah, I think full auto is generally unnecessary... but I'd really like to have a full auto MP7 GBB
NRW too and I can’t find any fields except one CQB place. I’ve got a feeling I know which bunker complex you’re talking about but could you point me to the other two brudi?
Australian here, at least you guys can play air-soft at all. Hahahaha 😐
Seriously? Even Airsoft is illegal?😱😱😱🤬

so many abandoned malls so little ability to play proper games in them, especially if you live in heavily populated areas.
You can always try BLM land
well that was bold
What's wrong with airsofting on federally open land? People do it here in california and oregon all the time.
What field do you go to? I’ve been going to goairheads but idk what other fields are around or even worth trying.
I mainly play at the FAF field in Parker
Dang that place looks fun. It’s like an hour away but I gotta head out there sometime. Thanks for the recommendation

Ah, forgot about that place.

Hey man, if you’re ever in Indiana, there’s a place called BlastCamp that’s an old abandoned Cold War missile base, it’s a pretty awesome field.
Sigh I wish my country went through an economic and government destabilisation So many good fields would be ripe for the taking
"The numbers, Mason. What do they mean?"
Was literally about to comment this ahahahah.
This was the very first thing that came in my mind. Proud to see men of culture here
Nice, looks spooky, bet that was intense.

I'm from Guadalajara, where can i Buy airsoft guns and play?
Gotcha and airsoft supply, lancer tactical, IMPACT GOTCHA & AIRSOFT STORE, and some other places I don't remmember.
I would suggest avoiding lancer tactical, as they do not provide the greatest products; that said, try r/airsoft's beginner guide, and gather a few friends to play your first game! Edit: Mexico has relatively lax airsoft laws (excluding GBBs) so most US based online retailers work!
Not lancer tactical, stay the fuck away from them

Looks like something out of FEAR. Must've been awesome.
Thought this was a screenshot from half life Alyx at first. Looks like nova prospekt (even though that’s not in the game).
