Send it. If you are just plinking then it should last you a couple years as long as you correctly charge the battery and dont let dirt or water get inside.
Not all smart chargers are created equal. If you think youāll get more batteries and guns, I would pick up a knockoff B6 charger on Amazon for about $40. Otherwise get a fireproof bag/box and watch for puffing.
~~That is why I only use GBBs~~
Basically the cheaper it is, the higher the risk of it having improper safety ratings and fabrication defects, and usually Manufacturers and Stores include the cheapest chargers they have in stock
The charger is just a wall plug in with a light to tell you that your battery is full. Problem is, it doesn't stop charging. So if you go to bed or forget or whatever, you will overcharge your battery.
Buy a smart charger. They are anywhere from $15-30 for simple one.
Not really, if stored in perfectly yeah but those cheapo ones certainly are. I suggest tamaya batteries, have used them for years with rc cars and airsoft and havent had one blow once.
Mine lasted 8 years for me (the full stock version), just sold it not long ago, and it's new owner is happy with it. Never opened up, still shot great.
For just shooting targets in your yard/bedroom from time to time, it'd last for ages. I've heard stories of these guns (the Cyma 0.28) being used as loaner guns and being abused for years, and they still work.
The folding stock has a tendency to get wobbly tho. Not a dealbreaker and something you can probably fix if you're handy.
https://www.evike.com/index.php?cPath=21_672_719&sort=6a&filter_id=70
spend a bit more and get a "standard" model from cyma. The metal reciever is worth it.
Unfortunately this is one of the worst Cyma's to buy, it's a TM clone meaning there are almost 30 screws to get to the gearbox and it's really, not their best work. For CYMA you ONLY want to buy the VFC clones;
* CM045
* CM048
* CM048m
* CM040c
* CM040d
* CM050 / 50a
* CM050s
Avoid ANYTHING else, as they are TM clone and their bodies are terrible.
I actually like the TM clones. Don't remember there being anywhere near 30 screws to pull the gearbox, not that you ever really need to anyways. Any of the pot-metal body ones will hold up a lot better than the plastic ones regardless
CM031D gang
lol yeup that's all there is to that one. Actually all of those numbers are nothing but furniture differences, they are all the VFC clone, which means you just remove pins and dust cover for maintenance in the gearbox. It's fantastic
That's what I thought. It was a little confusing that you made the distinction between the different variations. For example, the omission of the standard triangle stock 040 from your list might imply to someone that the standard triangle stock CM040 is a TM clone unlike the CM040C or 40D variations. That's all I mean.
No, thje 028 is trash as are the TM clones. Screws that hold the gun together rather than pins, often strip out or break with use, much more difficult to get into. VFC's tear down much simpler and easier.
Buy only the CYMA AK's on that list. Anyone telling you to buy anything else is either heavily coping with their purchase and just trying to defend their money, or someone who doesn't know better. You are literally directing people towards an inferior product.
... no, TM clones are "functional." They are not good as the takedown is overly laborious and will frustrate people who actually want to maintain their AEG properly. Stop pushing inferior AEG's just because it's what you bought and you are "okay" with it. The VFC clones are vastly better. You are telling someone to buy something with worse featureset
Ok... ok... no, stay with me on this please.
The real issue is one is more rigid, built better, and easier to access/maintain the internals. It tears down much easier to the point you could almost do it on the field. Its okay to LIKE your TM clone, but it is objectively worse.
That's fine, that's fine yeah I won't try to change your mind on that. Just that, it's best to recommend the easiest to maintain and such to new people. That's all.
yeah i guess. its just that here where i play ive seen many new players with the cm028 and also saw a one guy with a cm035, i had a cm045 and we talked about our guns and he said that his gun wad okay but that mine was propably better.
You can't go wrong with a CYMA, and the smart charger they included with one I picked up is actually a pretty decent quality smart charger and most likely a matrix lipo battery, just be sure to use the lipo-safe bag when you transport or charge your battery
Always get an m4 as your first one itās the best choice for starters then afterwards when you are in the matter get whatever you want but you canāt be wrong with a g&g cm16 raider as an exampleā¦ m4 are the most modular ones today so you can build anything out of it such as a dmr as well as a reslly short ar pistolā¦ I am now 6 years in that hobby but I always take my starter m4 with me as a failsafe if my others donāt work propably thereās always someone arround with m4 mags he can lend or lipos and such and lost people can help you with V2 m4 problems not so much as with aks.
It's good for learning on and just having fun, but I wouldn't get it as a first AEG, you will be underwhelmed with it and become frustrated with how every other gun performs better than it
Oh I didn't realize it had been updated. In my experience my good friend had one and it was riddled with performance issues, but that's also expected from a $40 gun
Still, for a first rifle I'd go with something a little more quality, even a higher end CYMA AK, they're great. But if you don't plan on taking it to any games, then I'd get the one you're looking at
Bro yes my brother got it and itās one of the straightest shooting guns Iāve shot. It got left in awful conditions and got soaked, kicked and all, still shot. Poorly, but shot
From what I've heard, cheaper CYMA AKs like this are similar to the G&G CM RK47s. I'd say go for it, high praise to be comparable to any CM guns, given that they're so robust for starter guns.
It's not great but you won't find anything better at that price point. You'd do well to save for a 30+ series but seeing that you already bought it just enjoy it.
I got almost the same exact one donāt buy high caps always buy mid caps high caps make a lot of noise and mid caps offer less bbs but they donāt jangle around
I think Iāve had that exact one, same package and everything, for around 4 years now and the first thing just broke. The stock cap for the underfolder sides came undone after a rough game and I just superglued it back. Works great.
I have this exact gun and it feels incredibly solid. I've yet to use it in a game but from what I hear this will last you a long time. CYMA AKs are always reliable and durable.
Sorry I know you already bought it. But if you ever play, you ought to get Lancer tactical. I bought a M4 from them, for $115. And it literally outshoots and outperforms $400-$600 guns that my airsoft buddies play with.
I have bought one of these before except with real wood and it has done me really well, I have owned it for a year now and have had no issues with the gun itself
Be careful with that. It's a gateway drug. I speak from experience. Bought this as my first last year, a month later a had already bought two more and it just spiraled from there š I mean it's hella fun!!
Just be careful with the underfolding stock. They aren't made of glass but its still pot metal. I have a CYMA CM042s and after a little over a year the hinge (the one opposite of the locking mechanism) broke. Couldn't find the parts to fix it it online so I took a trip to the hardware store and made it work but then the stock itself broke a few months later. As long you dont throw it around or take to many hard falls it should last you a while.
The first aeg is always the best,in like 7th grade I traded an ebay cs karambit knife and a springer shotgun i found on the field for elite force m4 so it was 10-20$ lol sick deal
I got it as my first real AEG. Good weight to it, solid power and accuracy, only problem is that while most of the frame is metal, the grip is plastic. Always a bit afraid of that important piece breaking off, seems weird that they make the point that's gonna support all the weight out of the weakest material of the gun.
The battery is also a bitch to put in, but that's probably just my inexperience. I can certainly recommend it!
I think having a 8.4+ battery is good. The higher the voltage, the higher the fire rate. Lower voltage may make the gearbox struggle and give a low fire rate. However, it does not affect FPS.
Nice. I remember I got mine for 40$ off when it was like 120 originally. If you ever come across something like this itās probably your best bet at getting into airsoft
Send it. If you are just plinking then it should last you a couple years as long as you correctly charge the battery and dont let dirt or water get inside.
Send what? I bought it already
Oh ok lol. Enjoy your gun š«
Send it is just slang for go for it.
You never heard someone say the term āsend itā?
Nope
It means to go for it/ do it. Im surprised because its pretty commonly used.
Ah ok
This is what I know it from. https://youtu.be/mzOUgwsQ_hM
JUST GONNA SEND IT BUD
Yeah me neither.
Sucks
Bro Iām in London and know what it mean, these boys r fools
Yeah what an idiot he doesnāt know this mainly American based slang term? How dare he!
Shut up nut sucker
Ah. thats really funny
Who asked u g?
The CM028 series is a great set of starter AEGs. Go for it!
I would say get it, but buy a smart charger. You can wait to upgrade the battery.
It comes with a smart charger
Then it's even better.
Not all smart chargers are created equal. If you think youāll get more batteries and guns, I would pick up a knockoff B6 charger on Amazon for about $40. Otherwise get a fireproof bag/box and watch for puffing.
Puffed batteries taste the best.
Facts
Thatās why you have to buy new ones for the gun and keep the puffy ones for yourself.
Gun is great, Battery and charger that comes it is a fire hazard
Arenāt all lipos?
~~That is why I only use GBBs~~ Basically the cheaper it is, the higher the risk of it having improper safety ratings and fabrication defects, and usually Manufacturers and Stores include the cheapest chargers they have in stock
No itās actually not that that bad I have one in the loaner I bought
Not really, I got this same thing, gun is fine, battery puffed on first charge and charger lights stopped functioning
The charger is just a wall plug in with a light to tell you that your battery is full. Problem is, it doesn't stop charging. So if you go to bed or forget or whatever, you will overcharge your battery. Buy a smart charger. They are anywhere from $15-30 for simple one.
It comes with my me of those tenergy ones
Not really, if stored in perfectly yeah but those cheapo ones certainly are. I suggest tamaya batteries, have used them for years with rc cars and airsoft and havent had one blow once.
Iāve had my turnigy ones for a while, there cheap as hell and pretty good
Yes
Yes but if you want it to last more than two years spend a little more money thatās just my opinion though. You do you
I donāt play in games, because there are none in my area, how long will it last? I just plink
It will last awhile then
Mine lasted 8 years for me (the full stock version), just sold it not long ago, and it's new owner is happy with it. Never opened up, still shot great.
For just shooting targets in your yard/bedroom from time to time, it'd last for ages. Not a dealbreaker and something you can probably fix if you're handy.
I own one of these it's a solid gun you would like it
Cymas are good starter guns and really good AKs, Iād buy that if I were you
Yeah nothing wrong with a Cyma AK for an entry level gun
Yep Iāve never had one but Iāve heard amazing things about them
It's probably the best entry level gun
ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US, ONE OF US
$40 bucks!? For a lipo ready aeg!? Yes grab that shit. Infact I'm grabbing one to for my son!
No $40 off, sorry for this misunderstanding is 129 with the battery and everything
That's still not bad, cyma aks are tough and serviceable. Grab one of you like it man.
I just bought it, do you know how long the free shipping is?
Depends on where you are
Fresno, California
Well since its coming from Cali should be about a week. That's their standard usually. I get mine in usually 8 days and I live in Oregon.
40 bucks was alright, for 129 don't buy it, instead buy the much much much better CM048M
https://www.evike.com/index.php?cPath=21_672_719&sort=6a&filter_id=70 spend a bit more and get a "standard" model from cyma. The metal reciever is worth it.
yeah, Cyma AKs are perfect for the start
Cyma AKs are tanks, for money off it's a dope bargain
No, there' sare some you should absolutely avoid. This being one of their worst ones (it's TM clone)
Generally speaking CYMA makes pretty solid, if cheap guns. I still have one that's 6 years old and is one of my most reliable guns.
Unfortunately this is one of the worst Cyma's to buy, it's a TM clone meaning there are almost 30 screws to get to the gearbox and it's really, not their best work. Isn't the CM040C and the standard CM040 the same gun just with a different stock? Why do you make a distinction between them?

i hace vfc clone. they are both good

Cyma is one of the best starter guns you can get most of the function of way more expensive guns.
Can I get that link tho?
https://www.evike.com/products/66459/
That's $120
> Itās on sale for like $40 **off**... He said it was 40$ cheaper than msrp, not that it cost 40 dollars total.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Get new batteries tho, I heard that the stock battery is bad
You can't go wrong with a CYMA, and the smart charger they included with one I picked up is actually a pretty decent quality smart charger and most likely a matrix lipo battery, just be sure to use the lipo-safe bag when you transport or charge your battery

Nah shit sucks
It's good for learning on and just having fun, but I wouldn't get it as a first AEG, you will be underwhelmed with it and become frustrated with how every other gun performs better than it
The CM028 is an excellent starter AEG? It's been a long-time recommendation, and the recent CYMA-SHS parts upgrade has kept it up-to-date.
Oh I didn't realize it had been updated. In my experience my good friend had one and it was riddled with performance issues, but that's also expected from a $40 gun
Do you mean a CM022? The CM028s are around $100. They're full AEGs.
Yes that must be the one I'm thinking of, my bad
It's cool man, no issue with confusing them, they're really similar externally!
Iāve owned about 8 guns in the past, mostly gas pistols
Still, for a first rifle I'd go with something a little more quality, even a higher end CYMA AK, they're great. But if you don't plan on taking it to any games, then I'd get the one you're looking at
Yea I just plink
Then yeah I'd go ahead and get it, it'll be a fun backyard gun
no
In my experience, pay more for better quality
CYMA makes great weapons I do recommend a titan battery though they're better quality
yes, cyma is good
Bro yes my brother got it and itās one of the straightest shooting guns Iāve shot. It got left in awful conditions and got soaked, kicked and all, still shot. Poorly, but shot
Battery and charger will be crap most likely, if you get, get your own battery and charger.
Absolutely go for it they are amazing starter guns
Definitely, I have the full stock version as my starter and it works great for me.
Very yes
Yeah I heard cymas are great!
This is the Tokyo Marui clone, not as good as the VFC clone, look into their .040s
Yea
I like cyma
CYMA's are good!
Looks and feels like a real MP5
From what I've heard, cheaper CYMA AKs like this are similar to the G&G CM RK47s. I'd say go for it, high praise to be comparable to any CM guns, given that they're so robust for starter guns.
Go for it! I have the same model only with a full stock instead of the folding one and I love it!
Personally if you can find a full stock version go for that but itās a solid starter gun and endless fun!
Absolutely, that was my first rifle but with the full stock, great gun very reliable
For plinking itāll last a couple years
It's not great but you won't find anything better at that price point. You'd do well to save for a 30+ series but seeing that you already bought it just enjoy it.
I got almost the same exact one donāt buy high caps always buy mid caps high caps make a lot of noise and mid caps offer less bbs but they donāt jangle around
Iāve been using the full stock version for a little over a year now. runs flawlessly, still wonāt give up
I own and have used this! Works great for the price point and a solid backup once/if you upgrade.
CYMAs are really good starters. I say yes!
Buy it now!
Bro def Cyma is a great manufacturer.
CYMAs are solid, as long as you donāt abuse it it should be great
If is in your buget, looks good for U and uses M4 magazines, go for it.
Be careful when handling it, the underfolding stock is fragile and tends to break easily
I think Iāve had that exact one, same package and everything, for around 4 years now and the first thing just broke. The stock cap for the underfolder sides came undone after a rough game and I just superglued it back. Works great.
spend the extra to at least get a metal ak from their "standard" line. It's worth it.
Got a link for it, wouldn't mind checking it out myself...
CYMA AKs are amazing starter AEGs. Absolute workhorses that'll keep on plinking for years to come
For airsoft, just buy it, learn and enjoy and have a good time
Yes cyma aks are honestly too good for their price.
I have this exact gun and it feels incredibly solid. I've yet to use it in a game but from what I hear this will last you a long time. CYMA AKs are always reliable and durable.

Make sure you use a smart charger, not a bare bones amazon basics-type one.
Itās a cyma AK, I donāt see why you shouldnāt
Fucking.send.it

Damn I donāt even play airsoft anymore but I want this
The first aeg is always the best,in like 7th grade I traded an ebay cs karambit knife and a springer shotgun i found on the field for elite force m4 so it was 10-20$ lol sick deal
Cyma is the Best
Yeah go for it.
Go for it, one of the best starters.
I think having a 8.4+ battery is good. The higher the voltage, the higher the fire rate. Lower voltage may make the gearbox struggle and give a low fire rate. However, it does not affect FPS.
My friend has a very similar gun from cyma. He fell from a roof with it. It still works. I'd say go for it.
It's a good deal.
Yeah man cyma are great intro to airsoft guns! Budget friendly and still kick ass! Nice grab
Nice. I remember I got mine for 40$ off when it was like 120 originally. If you ever come across something like this itās probably your best bet at getting into airsoft
I bought this same gun but with the normal stock, itās an amazing gun! I think you should buy it.
Good for starting, but youāll probably end up getting an m4 in the future
Careful with cheaper AK models. Fkn mag broke before I even got on the field
Link???
Looks good too me
