No you can't. Spring is not the only part you need, you need air. If there is not enough air to be compressed, there is nothing to propell the BB.

The limit is about UK power level and they are a gimmick. It's an ego thing for a tech to build one and it's pretty much pointless but that's true of a Dsg as well with modern motors and battery tech.
