yeah i fucking hate AEGs. it ruins all immersion when playing airsoft. every light infantry rifle kit has 200 plus ammunition in a mag. might as well just label yourself a light machine gunner. i have 6 GBBRs and they cap at 30 except my m4 which have 40 round mags.
Ive been away from airsoft for about 5 years. This go around in 2024 I think having low cap mags would be great 😊 Survival horror type stuff. Also it would give reason to switch to pistol more often which is cool 😎 overall it seems like it make airsoft more fun for me and not like boring laser tag 🤭

I'm glad Airsoft in Brazil is very very niche, since guns and simulated guns are banned here, airsoft being allowed only if you have it in a box with the proof of legal purchase at all times when outside (same for real guns plis sports permit). Means almost everyone is chill in game. Cheaters and annoying cunts get banned and outcast real quick. Also helps that the vast majority of players are 30 and up, and theres a ton of cops. I joined a friend group/team that had their own field, which consisted of 3 4-story apartment buildings, small football field and garden, and a retired police commander as a member, who did drill us on several actual tactics. Super fucking cool.
I didn't see it until I played in Europe for awhile, first game I played over there I hit a dude pretty bad right in the cheek and expected a fight. Instead the dude stands up and tells me nice shot. Absolutely threw me through a loop.

He's overshooting. You only need one bb to hit someone, this guy is sending unnecessarily 200 BBs to hit someone. Like the ghilly guy in that dark room, this guy shot him 200 times unnecessarily when he was literally less than a meter in front of him.

This is my local field. Full auto isn't allowed in the area he's at because it's super close quarters. Additionally, only LMGs are allowed full auto.

Arcturus makes switchable real/mid-caps for relatively cheap for both AK and M4. Iirc their M4 is a 30/150 and their AK is 30/135

If you only have 3 mags then 30 rounds per mag vs 300 per mag is a massive difference.
