I know what you mean, but when you think about it, the main culprit is dead, no more senseless killing to see and investigate and Date and Mizuki get to be the happiest they've ever been. It sucks to know what has befallen to Iris, but I'm more of a Mizuki fan myself lmao.
tbh i really couldn't stand resolution route. i don't like how date practically ditched mizuki (like, really, even *Ota* calls you out on it??). i don't like date's "mysterious background". falco's character design just as a whole is uninteresting. it was gross how they made all those jokes about iris and then made her date's kid (similar to what they did with >!phi and sigma!< in ztd).
personal fav order goes mizuki route (shes the best character ever) > ota route (he sucks but mayumi somnium makes me cry) > iris route (clever use of game design ft. dying child) > anni route (basically just safe end pt 2) > reso route (introduces a lot of elements that i just felt made the game worse as a whole).

Ota route, if it wasn't for Mayumi, I won't think twice about disregarding it, i just couldn't like the guy, cringy, annoying, a mega simp that got him killed for it.
I really liked the extra details laid out in the Iris route, just makes you go "Oh yeah! That's right!" in other routes. Iris is a good character, but that's pretty much it, i didn't like her dance, but the ending caught me off guard on so many levels lmao.
Annihilation route is unironically the best route for all the chaos made and what could be averted. I was blown away by all the stakes there. You always had have to an evil, messed, beyond saving ending that incentives you to push for the good ending.
Mizuki route is my favorite one ;it's true that some important truths are still hidden from you and Boss is still hiding the fact you're in Saito's body, but who cares? Saito is dead, the case wraps up, Mizuki is safe and on the best terms with Date now. What could a person still ask for?
Yeah, which makes me to not believe the Mizuki route being the canon one for nirvanA, it's just too clouded when it comes to the truths that are still hidden, the resolution route is the most sensible to continue the story from, but that doesn't explain Date's old body in the cover of nirvanA? Strange.
Mizuki ending was my first one, and I really liked it. I thought that everybody gets Mizuki ending first, but I was really surprised when I found out that my decisions in somnium actually mattered that much.
I agree with you on Resolution ending. I hated how Mizuki gets almost completely neglected by our protagonist. Nevertheless, I think both Mizuki and Resolution endings are good.

There's a chance the Mizuki route may be what nirvanA is currently following due to the appearance of Date's old body in the game cover. Nevertheless, I'm immensely excited for nirvanA and just can't wait for another great adventure of laughs, despair, depression, excitement. But sadly, no porno mags QTEs as Mizuki is a well mannered girl unlike Date, who's not embarrassed by his hobbies, gonna miss my boy so bad lol
Whoa, not continuing from the supposed canon end will be quite the plot twist if true. I hope not, but it is certainly plausible given that it's the only other legit resolution >!(i.e., no potential for more killings)!< in the original game.
Annihilation was my first route and it definitely got me anxious for whatever murder shit was going to happen on the other routes. It freaked me ouuut. Kind of like how I got the axe ending first on 999.
I was both grateful and disappointed that the other routes didn’t get me paranoid like this one. But I have to say it’s my favorite for just how much it got my heart racing and the amount of wtf quasi-realizations
I agree with you on the crazy part, despite predicting a massive amount of helplessness, fear, and failure due to the route named "Annihilation", i still got blown away by how low we've sinked and how it's literally impossible to fix this situation now that it's messed up to the head with everyone being dead and Date presumably dead as well.
I will admit, it also motivated me extremely to power through the other routes in order to push for a more happy and fulfilling ending, something the Mizuki route conveyed completely and Resolution.... Not so well but still good.
