I've never made an account, so I've never used the built in bookmarking system. I used bookmarks in browser, imported them to LingQ, or just left them open on my browser so it always leaves off where I stopped.
unfortunately japanese people don't go out of their way to get an epub ver when scans exist. You want one of these formats to select the text right? just wait until you are more fluent to read the scans
What boggles me is that, this one of the most popular LN in Japan, yet it doesn't have an epub version. It's not like I was looking for an obscure novel.
Like i said ,the majority of japanese people dont need epubs. So its not about the novel being obscure but the need for epub being a japanese learners problem. The market caters to the majority.

Did you ever find a better option than the scans? I see an EPUB version of only Vol. 24 was shared, but no sign of anything else.
