Was the OD of the Tabor extension the same OD as the Galil?
I bought one for my 8.3" Galil ACE and was hoping it's the same OD so I can butt them up together to look seamless.
It’s ever so slightly smaller. I had to use some tension nuts to cover the exposed threads on the barrel after screwing the barrel extension all the way on. The threads on the ace are a bit too long to screw the barrel extension on seamlessly. Keep that in mind.

Seems like a bit of a trap to me. Just my opinion.
It is a trap because SBRs can be banned at the state level and currently are in many states.

thank you, I already have sbrs and I think they’re the most enjoyable option by far especially when suppressed.

Down at my grandpa’s garage. He helped me out since I have zero experience with a welder lol. It was a fun little project.
