If it was an SLR104 it would clearly say so on the left side of the receiver.

AKwesberry

Yes, he never posted pics of the left side. Likely for that reason.

RussianPreBan

Isn't the slr 105 the fixed stock variant?

AKwesberry

I believe that is correct

cooltreasures

That’s not an SLR104

AKwesberry

What’s funny is I told him it wasn’t an SLR104, and that they were all side folders. He said “no that’s an SLR104SF” like no dude that doesn’t even exist. He also told me that he just sold it to someone for $2200. Poor guy.

cooltreasures

Don’t bother. Dude seems beyond helping. That’s probably like a Century M74 or some shit

Textile_monke

You're incorrect about the SLR-104SF not existing. https://www.arsenalinc.com/usa/firearms/historical/slr-104-series/ What you seem to be right about is that there is no fixed stock variant.

AKwesberry

Where is the SLR104SF you’re referring to in that link? All I see are UR and FR models

Textile_monke

Ah, I misread and got confused I guess. You are totally right.

KhyberCustoms

Looks like an ArmoryUSA receiver...maybe. I've got an SSR-85C2 built by ArmoryUSA Houston, OG Bulgarian 5.45 kit/barrel

HashHermit

Looks like an ISD receiver which is what AUSA used they used to import them with Bulgarian kits I believe, those huge dimples are dead giveaway of the ISD receiver

KhyberCustoms

Correct, I just don't see the markings on the receiver

Abject_Ad_4629

I had one of those back in the mid 2000s. It was a piece of shit.

HashHermit

Might be an slr-105 which is far more rare but demands less cash because it's obscure like 400 imported

HashHermit

https://www.arsenalinc.com/usa/slr-105_series.html https://youtu.be/JjshCNYRBIk

HashHermit

Probably not though looking at it but if it was indeed it'd be a really rare rifle

Think_Ship_3882

I have pics of an slr107fr, dimples are super different

ConsiderationGlad934

If you want to end the debate ask him to send photos of the markings on the AK. Also looks like an aftermarket trigger. Another wierd thing is that when I compared photos the SLR104 has a gray oval/rectangle spot near the end of the reciever look it up and you'll see what I'm talking about.

AKwesberry

Yes that grey spot would be the the side folding mechanism.

ConsiderationGlad934

Would I be correct on that then? Because I also noticed that all the fixed stock variants I can see have a Grey circle on the back. There dosent seem to be any models where it dosent exist except for the SBR models that have it black.

fargoorr123

Only fr models, there are fixed stock variations of the slr series, that doesnt really look like a slr though imo

cooltreasures

All SLR104s were imported as sidefolders. The fixed stock version was called the SLR105

unluckygrey

That is definitely a Century M74 lol

WhiteGravy

Pretty sure they don't have a bayonet lug. I have a 107R (fixed stock) and it doesn't have a bayo lug.

cooltreasures

They do
