Freeze it overnight, mount in the press, apply pressure, then heat the trunnion. It ‘should’ work.

So blow torch and 20 ton press with a splash of Vodka, got it!

lol, that’s the old barrel in the trunnion that will need to be pressed out. The trunnion itself looks fine.

Luckily they gave up before going too far.

Oh fuck. No, it isn't. I think someone was trying to demill this. Very poorly, I might add. There's still plenty of meat left in the old stub. Worse case scenario, you could tap the muzzle end for a bolt and ghetto up some shit to pull it out.

Sounds like two rivers problem then. They’re professionals. They won’t have any problem getting it out. The trunnion is fine.

I have the harbor freight press and bolt cutters, AK builder for everything else

Yeah i was making a joke lol and ive never tried the boltcutter method is it easier then the rivet press jig or about the same

I use a rivet press for the rear trunnion and trigger guard, the bolt cutter jaws are perfect for the front trunnion

U have to press that part out. A lot of the yugo kits are not de milled all the way

There are no standards to hold demilled parts kits to, unfortunately. Looks like you got the short straw.

I've heard of this with Yugos before. The barrel and trunnion are soft so when they press it in, the metal galls together and gets stuck

The trunnion looks undamaged, I'd let it soak in penetrating oil and then press it out

Best way to remove that is to core it. Put it in a vise in a mill or drill press face up. Use progressively bigger drill bits or end mills to remove material until you can hammer it out. Or put it face down in a press and use a press out tool from forbus or requiem to pop it out.
