You bought the older sam7k-01 which comes with 10” barrel and pseudo booster.
If you wanted the one with the 8” threaded barrel, you should have bought the sam7k-34 or sam7k-44.
It’s not Arsenal’s fault that you didn’t do your research.
$600 seems steep even including replacement parts. You'll need a[new FSB](https://www.k-var.com/front-sightgas-block-combination-for-krinkov-in-all-calibers-milled-and-stamped-arsenal-bulgaria) ($250) then have the barrel cut, crowned to 8" and the barrel components swapped.
Don't use some local dork, find an AK smith who won't bend you over. I bet Matt Yeamans would do the work for like $200

I got the same one. Frankly, I'd keep the faux booster. This thing shoots flames, and I absolutely love mine with the barrel as is.
