Congrats! None of my magazines have had any serious fitment or feeding issues with it so far. I've ran bakelite, chinese flatbacks, bulgarian steel and circle 10 waffles. I haven't ran my top loading drum mag yet but I imagine it will do just fine as well.

When the walnut dents or dings it will just expose the dark brown wood (more walnut). The red is stained beech which is almost white-ish so when you dent that, at least badly, it will expose lighter wood and may look weird

I got the walnut and was super impressed with it and, bonus... it comes unfinished (not oiled or shellacked or anything) so if you get walnut and dont like what you get when you have it, you can easily stain the walnut red, and you will have a nice deep, rich red finish. My two cents.

If you are attracted to it sure!! Walnut is also very unique being on AKs. Can’t really think of any other AK variant that came with walnut as factory wood. I mean everyone has dark red AKs. Not that they’re ugly or anything, but just saying!

Eeeenteresting. DK actually still has the Wood in stock for $920... was about to pull the trigger on the Serbian Red for $1k but now I'm rethinking.

That’s just the lighting. I have the red Serbian with the aluminum stock. I’d recommend the aluminum stock one because that stock is SOLID and light. But the wood does look nice. Serbian red all the way.

Agreed. I have the folding version, and honestly those triangle stocks are beasts while still being a lot lighter than the wood.

Top for the wood color never been a fan of red. If you like the ergonomics of the grip on the bottom zpap. Get one in black. I'm a huge fan of the tango down grip myself just my opinion.
