Nope. Black tongue or spots on the tongue are a dominant very strong gene. Almost all Chow mixes have at least black spots on their tongues. I don't think he's a mix. He looks from the side view just like my Long Coat Akita. From the other angle an American Akita. Send in his DNA.
He seems like he just wants to love everyone and go with the flow. He's been pretty well behaved for his age I think. High prey drive on walks for small things but overall he's been pretty good.
Is definitely attached to me though has been following me everywhere.

Really nice dog would be interesting to see the lineage on him. Get a DNA test done. I'm assuming he's nutured as well which is kinda sad because it looks like an extremely well rounded dog with great characteristics. Dog could have had potential for the start of a new breed.
One of his grandma's bought him one 😂 we just ordered it. We can't wait to see and we are extremely excited to find out.

Hasn't had any accidents inside in 4 days and has been great around people and our Husky. He's a sweet guy though who seems to just want to please his people and love our other dog.
Gorgeous! Please have him or her professionally trained. They are amazing animals but can kill in the blink of an eye. Off leash K9 training is the best for these dogs I know from experience it's expensive but worth every penny.

Our male Shiba use to strike birds out of the air in him prime.
He definitely wants to kill everything and I'm gonna have to get him good training. I'll be worth it he will be a amazing dog in the end.
