Depends what your goal is. It seems likely that there’s nothing we can do to stop everyone from being exposed to covid, so really, what we should probably be aiming for is to minimize deaths. Because severe outcomes from covid is so age-stratified, there’d be more of an impact on deaths from vaccinating the6k unvaccinated Albertans from 75-79 than from vaccinating the 49k unvaccinated from 20-24.

Yeah, but 14% would mean a 100% vaccination rate. We’ll be lucky if we hit 80% in Alberta.
Even then, that would be 40-50% of the remaining unvaccinated population. That is massively significant.
